oh my god! *hugs* My first chinchilla, Zorro, always tried to escape his cage (a simple plexi-glass and wood structure one of my sisters ex's built). Come home from school (last day of grade 8), and heres my chinchilla stuck between the wood and plexi glass, tore his spine. We got him out and I sat with him until supper. Quickly ate, ran back downstairs and he was dead.

Sy I duno that pretty much sucks... :( To have him go like that. That sounds really painful but it always sucks when things like that happen to animals. They are too sweet for things like that :(

Welcome To The Wonderful World Of Controversy!

Simpleman here, you there. Come in, relax, pull up a chair. I'm fairly new to Menewsha and I'm looking to get a grasp on what it's all about. I've noticed that lots of threads are created, posts are posted, discussions are discussed, conversations are conversed, friendships are formed and fun is experienced. My first discussion here I felt right at home so I thought I would make myself at home and create a thread. This, is my thread. I chose to make it about controversial issues. A controversial issue is one where its related articles are constantly being re-edited in a circular manner. Thus discussed by numerous people, having different opinions, viewpoints, feelings, beliefs, thoughts, etc, etc. Now, this thread is conceived as a location for controversial topics that regularly become biased and need to be fixed or at least discussed rather lengthily. The divisive nature of disputed controversial subjects have triggered numerous arguments, since opinions on a given issue differ as they are debated. So here's the tough part for this thread, ALL rules to menewsha apply. Which means the arguments that may arrise can simply be menewsha'd. I think what I mean by that should instantly click in your brain as to keeping it clean. Now, bare in mind, the subjects discussed in here CAN BE responsible for a great deal of tension among the menewsha nation as well as the moderators, reflecting the debates of society as a whole. Perspectives on these subjects are particularly subject to time, place, and culture of the person. Discussions about these controversies should be handled with extreme precaution and may or may not be suitable for children. Some of the biggest disputes here will naturally mirror the intensity of the controversy in the outside world. Globally on the moralistic nature of what is considered right and what is considered wrong. Understand that immediately this thread may or may not get lots of attention. I myself hope it's understood as a place to discuss what's very interesting and kept clean and mentally sound and brings lots of peace and respect between it's posters in all attempts of understanding others opinions, viewpoints, feelings, beliefs, thoughts, etc, etc. Have fun and keep it clean!

wow sounds deep. Not something I would personally take part in, but I would definatly read it.

I personally don't like the idea at all. I like mene clean and free of controvercy. I don't want to start problems here. If someone wants a thread like this they should take it to Gaia. I like my non-reality happy world!!!

Seems like it really would start a lot of arguments... and.... I dont see how they would be avoidable. Anyone who is willing to fight and argue about what they like are usually already too hard headed to listen to any kinda of reason about it.

See I don't mind so much as it's being kept in one specific area. Yes it would be difficult to keep fights from happening but I view it as educating yourself and others on perspectives.

Blah.... Who knows... It's not my idea anyway...
