meanwhile, I always thought that if there was a blizzard outside you wouldn't get internet for poo ... but here I am, online and there is a blizzard! I can't decide whether to root for school to be canceled tomorrow or hope that it isn't. I have to go to my mom's for early turkey-day tomorrow and I'm not sure how well that's gonna go if most of the town is closed! let alone wanting to do my baking with my kid underfoot!

Haha - I used to get HUGE table spoonfuls that equaled to about 2 tablespoons, if not more <3

well, the Green Bean Casserole I made turned out REALLY well. The deviled eggs ended up being a bit dry because of not enough mayo. The pies totally turned out wrong, I used too much evaporated milk and the crusts weren't that great.

BUT mom didn't use as much sugar as she usually does in her candied yams and they were actually edible this year! and her turkey wasn't totally done when she took it out of the oven but by the time it was carved up and served it's own internal heat had finished cooking it so it was actually moist for a change!

and of course, now that dinner is over and I don't have to worry about it for another year. tomorrow is turkey dinner at my friend's house and she always has such an awesome spread! I'm really looking forward to it.
