((Damn Mene back-ups! D: ))

Chrono looked at the girl coolly - he was used to being snapped at my Demons, but mortals were a different matter.
Still, he did need to make his mind up.
This was worth a shot, even if they didn't take him in it would give him a little extra time to heal and live in general.
He looked her up and down, gauging her weight. Flying would be awkward with his injured shoulder, but with extra weight it would be exhausting. However, since speed was a factor, it would be best to get away from his last known location as quickly as possible, and that meant flying.

"Alright," he told her, "Let's go. Please excuse me."
Stepping forward suddenly, he lifted her bodily with relative ease, his shoulder only twinging slightly at the added weight.
With a moment of concentration, his wings snapped into being and he leapt into the air, his wings beating erratically for a moment before settling into a steady rhythm. Rising steadily until they were roughtly fifty feet from the ground- any higher and they might meet flying Demons - Chrono turned to the North West and soed away.

"I'm Chrono, by the way." he said, hardly believing that he didn't even know the mortal's name yet - it seemed like they'd been through so much already.

((Well, Jelly didn't mean to mess things up, and they got the site back up and running in less time than they had said they would, so that's fine with me. We'll just work with what we've got- we didn't lose TOO much... ))

Jade watched him as he deliberated, while she was itching to get a move on. When he began looking her up and down, she took a cautionary move to fold her arms across her chest and turn her body slightly, wondering what he was doing. However, she smiled slightly as he finally agreed, which she had a feeling he would.

When he moved forward, she was confused, but he had a hold of her before she could protest, "What the hell?!" she asked, before a small yell at the feeling of the both of them moving off the ground. Instinctively, she grabbed onto him with both arms. She had never been airborne before; other than being thrown from a blast. She heard his name and was surprised he suddenly volunteered information to her, "J-Jade. I'm Jade." she said, managing to stutter through the introduction. She had been less afraid of the demon who was punching through concrete than she was being in the air. 'Is that weird?' she wondered, assuming, safely, that the answer was 'yes'.
