This video is 1/5th the size of a MLP episode. Or 1/4th, depending on the episode length.

I suppose you wouldn't do that in real life then? Or would you just not answer the door. I think I used to try to act like I wasn't home but they are darned persistent and walked around the house to the back door and everything. o.o

I think that they get used to that, getting doors shut in their face, or ignored, or told no over and over. I mean, it's rude on their part to try to force someone into listening to them, when they didn't go out and look for them. Or so I think. Shoving your religion in other's faces is kinda of rude. But... they always send out the cutest guys :3

Yeah, they definitely do. They do that on purpose, to make it harder for you to shut the door in their face or ignore them. And they always speak really well. =.= Evil trickery!

Busy, busy. As usual. Nearly done with my associates though! :D Then I can hopefully start on my bachelors but it's proving to be kind of hard because most of the classes need to be taken IN a class and can't be done online. At least, with the degree that I'm going for. So... hopefully something will work out and if not then I'll just have to wait until I leave Germany. I've got my college picked out for when we're in Florida :D UCF :D And the classes really look like so much FUN!

How have you been? :D

nice zephi. you're slowly getting school done with. UCF is good though.

I've been alright. been going through some...stuff...basically decided I want to be a writer and not an artist. I really don't want to be a professional artist.

Yes. I hope that I can get in there. I've e-mailed their transition section to ask them about information. I haven't heard back yet. I also e-mailed admissions the same thing on the off chance that I'd get an answer from them. It's only been a day though.

Well, it's tough to be a professional artist. It's tough to be a professional writer as well. Depending on what kind of writing you do, whether it's professional or recreational, depends on how you make your living. Either way, I'm sure that you'll be fine. You've been doing a lot more writing recently anyway.

haha. don't be too impatient!

but I don't think I can pass this one class I'm in if I don't want to be a professional artist. it's a class all about that. and my parents...they will want millions of explanations on why I don't want my art shown in a gallery. I don't mind doing commissions, but this professional practices class I'm in has made me realize I really REALLY don't want to be on that track. I don't have a desire to visit galleries, write artist statements, of be displayed in exhibitions! my goal in life is not getting an exhibition. that's what all the people in my class want. I don't get it.

I'm not. I'm not going to e-mail them again. I have until July 1st of next year to get it sorted out.

Which class is that? Well, you can still pass the class even if your final goal isn't to be an artist. Think of it as a back-up plan? Oh. That sounds really weird to me to be honest. TO have your art in a gallery? That doesn't sound appealing at all. What kind of people are those!? I don't think I've even met anyone who would say something like that >.>

fine. but it seems you really want a reply.

I said it's called professional practices. not really, I need to put a lot of work into things that only a working professional artist needs including buying a domain name and making myself a website. and how is that weird? Art has always been displayed in some sort of gallery, museum, or forum. It's the main way to get your art out. Sure some galleries are like Axel Contemporary (you can google that) which is a traveling gallery in the back of a van. mostly for installation art. outside of selling tourist art and doing commissions, exhibitions is the lifeblood of art.

Well, I just want information about the process. Cause I'd like to start it as soon as possible. They have general information about transfering, but most of it is about from other colleges in Florida. It doesn't really apply to me. And I'd like to know which credits will transfer, and if I start a bachelors in k-12 ed with UoP if anything would transfer, though it's different, it has some of the same properties. So, I have questions, but no answers yet.

Yea but, is that what "normal" artists think about? Aha. I have a friend who got a degree in graphic art and makes websites, if you're ever thinking about that, I could give you her info. Yes I know. I think of galleries as sort of old fashioned though. I think of that for the classics, and for sculptures. Like, I want to visit the Louvre in Paris because of all the classics. I really couldn't care about things that are recent. Especially modern art. It's just not my thing. There was an art company that set up in those metal shipping crates and would make a moving gallery out of those. That was the only one I was interested in seeing because the guy who's art what exhibited was very good (to me). He did a lot of things with animals and people together. I liked it. But galleries... seem old fashioned to me. Like the Peggy Gougenheim (sp), I think that is her name.
