Anna stared at the chicken and her breathing became more sharp. Before he had time to notice, Anna fainted and everything went black.

Suddenly hearing the thud from Anna fainting on the floor, Hikako turned around dropping the knife onto the cutting board and kneeling down in front of her. "Anna?! Whats wrong?!" he said with a concerned tone as he placed his hand onto the back of her head elavating it up a bit.

Anna lay limp and lifeless on the floor. Her whole body shut down unexpectedly on her. She knew she should have ran before she got too upset over it, but it was too late. Her heart was beating fastly in her chest, but her breathing was slow.

Hikako was starting to get really concerned hearing how Anna's breathing was slow. He picked her up into his arms as he began to rush upstairs to his room laying her down onto his bed. Dammit....what happened to her?....why did she just faint like that? he thought as he kneeled down on the bedside worried for her safety.

Anna woke up a few hours later and saw Hikako next to the bed. Once she realized what had happened, her facial expression went blank. "I'm sorry..."

Hikako smiled as he nearly fell asleep on the floor, when he heard Anna's voice again, he looked up at her and smiled a bit more brightly. "You dont need to apolgozie for anything...." he said quietly as he touched her cheek with the palm of his hand.

Anna closed her eyes. "I just...don't like knives. I'm really sorry." she said.

Kioshi smiled softly as he leaned up toward Anna and kissed her lips gently. "Then I wont use them.......and I thought I said not to apologize." he said quietly as he tapped her on the nose.

Anna smiled and shook her head. "You know I'm going to anyway." she said.

Kioshi smiled and laughed a little nodding. "Yeah..I guess your right." he said as he got up to his feet and looked down at Anna laying on the bed.

Anna brushed the hair out of her face and sat up. "Do you want me to stay up here while you make the chicken?" she asked.

Hikako shrugged his shoulders a bit as he smiled looking into Anna's eyes. "If you want to....sure. Are you going to be okay though?" he asked as he started to stand up.

Anna nodded and smiled as she stood up as well. "Yes." she said. She nodded once more for assurance and kissed him.

Hikako smiled as he nodded and started to pull away from Anna's kiss and turned around. "You want me to bring you the food?...or do you want to come down?" he asked as he began to walk to the door and turned around once he reached the doorway.

Anna smiled at him and shook her head. "You're so cute. No, you don't have to wait on me hand and foot, I'll come down when it's ready." she said.

Hikako smiled and nodded as he walked out of the room and left the door a bit cracked. He walked back downstairs into the kitchen as he went straight back to the cutting board and began to cut the chicken again with the large blade like before.

Kana rolled over and stared out the window. She watched a woodpecker peck at the tree, and eventually falling asleep, trusting that Hikako would wake her up.

After a couple of minutes, he finished making the food as he laid the plates onto the table, putting the roasted chicken in the middle and other foods around it. "There we go......guess I should get her down here." he said to himself as he walked upstairs to his room seeing she fell asleep on his bed. Aww....isnt that cute? he thought as he walked over to the bed leaning his head over her and kissing her cheek softly. "Oh Anna...come on deary....wake up....foods ready." he whispered into her ear.

Anna rolled over as her eyes slowly opened up. She smiled and raised her arms above her head to stretch, along with pointing her toes straight. She nodded and stood up with a small yawn. She sat down on one side of the table and smiled at the food. "Thank you..." she said.

Hikako smiled as he sat down at the table with Anna and looked at the food. "Your welcome." he said quietly as he slightly leaned back in his chair looking up toward the ceiling a bit.

Anna slowly ate her chicken in silence. When she was done, she walked in the kitchen and cleaned the dished by hand.

Hikako smiled softly as he watched Anna clean the dishes. He tilted his head to the side a bit as he got up and walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach placing his head onto her shoulder. "Something wrong Anna?....you've been awefully quiet..."

Anna turned her head and kissed him gently. "I'm fine, Sweetheart. Thanks for asking though." she said. As she looked at him, she dug through the bottom of the soapy water in the sink for the next thing to wash. She suddenly felt a stinging in a few of her fingers. "Oh shit!" she yelled. She immediately took out her fingers to see them bleeding and ran them under some water.

As Hikako saw how Anna was bleeding his eyes widened as he looked at the soapy water. "Hmm?...whats in there?" he said as he reached into the water and felt a point as he picked it up from the sides and picked up the knife. "Oh....I forgot about this...." he said quietly as he frowned and looked at her hand bleeding. "I'm sorry, love.....this is my fault." he said with a quiet and yet sadful tone.

Anna looked at him and smiled. "It's fine, really. Uh...do you have some band-aids for me?" she asked.
