Hikako looked at Anna. "That was your choice....." he said lightly yet sadly.

Anna hugged him. "Well I didn't have to think about it." she said.

Hikako lifted his arms and hugged Anna back. "Anna....your family......is rich.....I'm not a noble like you....will your father mind?" he asked.

"Yes, but I don't care." she said.

Hikako was surprised that Anna wouldnt care what her father thought about him. "Anna...you dont care?....but isnt he your father?...." he asked sadly.

"Yes, he's my father, not my brain." she said.

Hikako smiled at Anna. "Thats true..." he laughed a little. "What will you do now...that you know my love towards you?" He asked.

"Stay with you every waking moment until I show as much love towards you." she said as she hugged him.

((UGH! I might shoot someone right now...))

Hikako hugged her back gently, he didnt say anything since he couldnt think of anything to say. He thought about what Anna had said and he couldnt get the fact out of his head that it sounded like she was asking to marry him.

((O_O please dont shoot me! *whimpers*))

Anna sighed and sat on the couch. "Now what?" she asked.

((That wasn't a proposal. I'm just mad because girls and guys can't be friends anymore.))

Hikako just stood there and looked at Anna. "I have to go..." He said sadly and left walked to the door.


((Yeah i know it wasnt lol. and since when!? O_O))

"Why?" she asked.

((My friend has been sitting next to me at lunch lately (the only guy at our table), and I USED TO like him, then his friend came up and put his arms around us and said "You two should go out" and we both laughed and said no, then later EVERYONE was like "I'm so happy! You and Sam make a good couple!" I was like WTF I'M NOT GOING OUT WITH SPAM!!))

Hikako didnt answer Anna and left the house. He wanted to meet with his father again, to tell him that he was sorry. He didnt want her to know about his father because of what he did to her, thinking she might hate him as much as hating his father.

((Damn....that really does bring up a point...))

Anna curled up on the couch and waited for Hikako to come back.

((I think I might like him though...0.o))

Hikako walked around town again looking for his father hoping he didnt leave yet. "Father?! where are you?!" He yelled out loud.

"I've been behind you since I left." he said.

Hikako turned around and didnt look at his father. "Father........" He looked up at him sadly. "I'm sorry....."

"For what?" he asked.

Hikako looked down looking depressed. "For leaving you.....I really dont want to...but....." He didnt want to tell his father why even though he was sure his father already knew.

"You love her, I see it." he said as he nodded.

"Yeah....I do...." He looked back up at his father. "Father? could you bring me to mother's grave? I want to talk to her." he said politly.

He nodded and walked to their old house. He walked to the front yard, right by the pond and pointed. "It's right there."

Hikako walked to the tombstone and kneeled right in front of it. He started to cry. "Mom......." he grabbed the stone and put his head against it. "Why!? Why did you have to leave me?! I miss you mom!! please! come back! I'm begging you!! Please!!" He kept screaming and begging for his mother to come back. It started to rain.

"Hikako, she's not coming back..." his father whispered.

Hikako turned around with eyes full of tears. "But--I never even seen her! I want to meet mother!" He looked back at the tombstone with his head completely soaked. "Mom....I'm so sorry....because of me....you died."
