[Banner] A Hangout of Poetic Proportions [/Banner] (Better banner in progress - Artist Busy)

Welcome to the land of poets, feel free to look around at the poems of mine or my fellow poets in the links below or spark up a chat. Any conversation goes as long as it's PG - 13 (PM it to be approved if above pg 13 before posting) as anything can inspire (Just follow the rules okay?).

Things you may do:
* Post a poem for feedback.
- Make sure to include "I would not like feedback" at the top of your posting in bold ([B][/B]) if you don't want feedback.
- If you do not want feedback but would still like us to read it be sure to tell us somewhere in your post.

* Post a photo you took.
- Give a reference if it is not yours.

* Post a drawing/painting.
- Give a reference if it is not yours.

* Enter a contest.
- When contests start I will have a title for you to post to set them apart from other poems.

* Chat with other users.

* Anything else you can think of that is allowed.

* Do not make fun of another user's poem or I will blacklist you and ban you from this thread, however constructive criticism is OK.
* Do NOT steal another user's poem, not only will I kick you from this thread, but I will report you to the mods. If you want to use it, ASK.
* Please keep swearing to a minimum (if you can) and not directed at others.

Note: Writing poems and being a poet is not required to chat here, other writers as well as non-writers may post here as well; however, all of my contests (if I get around to them) will be poetry related.

: D Hi honey! >w< yay first post after open ... awesome lol.. I guess that's what I get for waking up at 430 in the morning ahaha... I swear I went to bed before that ^ ^" dun worry. You pulling an all nighter then? I was thinking I might just get the files from this computer and watch the powerpoint on another computer right now.. but I thought I'd say hi first at least. : O <3

I started to make a few poems around midnight.. not completely finishing the thing about what you said because I got all "lah lah lah" then doodlyish xD but there's a chunk of writing for when you want to see it.
As for this poem I'm putting up here, I don't care frankly if any one comments on it or gives feedback... I was just writing something I felt.. because I needed to get it out instead of staring at the tv playing music XD it solved nothing doing that lol. So ya.. anyways.. heheh x3 here be the poem:

Five hours on this road and it seems so long
But there with you I belong
A bike ride away I wish I could say
Please, you took my heart away
I feel so cold without your touch
And oh I miss you oh so much
My heart it sometimes aches for more
Each word it hits straight to the core
No hiding now from these feelings for you
It makes me bubbly that you have them too
But take me away to that special place
I'll meet you there and we can race
Five hours away but there we'll be
A world without worries, you and me

^^ Nice poem... I find it interesting to read the playfulness of rhythm with the sadness of loneliness

Oh hai thank you ^_^ I'm glad you like it lol.. I kept on rereading it because the music started to get louder than my thoughts but I think it works out okay...

yupyup it works out... =3 *stretches* so nice to have a place to stay and know I'm welcome ^^

lol you pull all nighters way more than i do lol... but then that might be a good thing idk lol.. and for all I know I could start to be able to do it if I need and we both are when living together xD
