Haha yeah you need an ISBN thing and copyright (: and ummm xD uhhhhh my mom did it lol XD You need to pick a company to publish with and get an editor (: and you advertise it so you get enough profits to pay for the books being printed.

Just what strange said. It's nothing complicated. Since Americans don't like poetry as much, I plan on publishing mine a bit differently than most people do xD

Ahhh you silly faces. Americans love poetry. It is just more popular in the form of musical lyrics is all. Of course many times people are taught or else figure out that the other forms of poetry are there as well and can be very insightful. Or fun. Or.. well, with whatever reason someone might want to read something. XD

Oh I know.. but i am no musician. Also I don't know any bands...well any non-garage band bands.

Oh lol I do but Idk how much that matters. You don't have to turn it into music to be liked. I mean heck, it's not like this thread is dead or anything. Plenty of people are interested in poetry. I guess the main thing for wanting to read someone else's is if you are a poet or if the style or subject matter or whatnot is intriguing. And for someone to pick up your book you have to let that be known and share your work with other people.. (preferrably trustworthy people if it's not copyrighted yet ^^" ) But yeah that part sometimes just has to do with resources and connections. And if you don't have many, you ask around for some and make them yourself. Which let's face it, making a book takes time in itself. But if it's something that you really want to do, like say, a dream of yours (as in it's something that you are set on wanting to accomplish some time in your life) then... well. Yeah. You'll get more of that motivation and it may make you feel better to keep on moving. Usually your editor will help with that too- to help you finish what you started. I mean to a poet, writer in fact, or artist.. whatever.. it is hard to make it feel complete, but however close you can feel yourself getting to be comfortable ... or maybe excited to publish your work, that will be good. (:

@ Strange - Yknow... this thread is specifically liked to my future book =) I want to make poetry noticed... I don't care about fame or anything... I just want my poetry to be read (while copyrighted) and be recognized (by non-poets) that I'm a poet... as well as one extra thing... I want poetry to become more popular in this day of age... so that poets don't have to struggle to make a living because their art is overlooked and underappreciated...

Yeah... go to forums, and theres a search bar, search her and click the 2nd option for people (instead of threads)
