Alex laughed and threw some chicken in the oven. "Wanna go downstairs or stay up here?"

"lets head down stairs." he said with a smile and couldn't wait for the chicken.

John watched her go and then headed to the coutner. He wondered where she was headed but focused on getting tickets.

lina reached her locker and took off her shirt and pulling down on her arcade work shirt. she worked here 3 days a week and got games half priced. she walked out finding john and smiled walking up to him.

Alex walked down the stairs and sat on the couch. "So...?"

John smiled at her and then saw the shirt, "so this is where you work." he said as he looked around the place and then smiled at her and grabed his tickets.

Patch smiled and sat down next to her, "what do you want to do while we wait for the chicken?" he asked and kissed her cheek.

lina pointed at the dark blue uniform shirt that read. "its not a fashion statement, its a life choice. ARCADE 4EVA" she nodded smiling. "you guessed it." she saw him get the tickets and smiled wider. "okay, so name your favorite arcade gae of all time and 9 out of ten times i say we have it."

John smiled, "my favorite game of all time had to be pac man." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

lina made a pfft. sound and pointed down the aisle to the pac man machine. "im second place on the machine." she grinned. "beat that."

John smiled at her, "oh, I will." he said and started to play it.

lina watched as he got higher and higher in levels without loosing on life. she gawked at the screen as he kept going. "holy mother of---!" she stared wide-eyed at the screen.

John smiled when he was finally done and had beaten the first score by a landslide, "told you I would beat you." he said with a smile.

"whoah, you beat mikey!" she shook her head and smiled giving him a hug. "congrats. you get your name up on the top-scores wall." she laughed. "okay now its my turn. ill start off easy at mario bros."

Joihn smiled, "okay and I am sure I can beat you at that too." he said and smiled at her.

"two-players versus battle it is then." she smiled walking up to the machine and selecting mario. "level 1, ooooh." she started.

John smiled and selected mario also to make it even and started to play next to her.

beating level 5 she looked to see how john was doing. "not bad." she smiled as she leveled up again.

John smiled, "I am only one level behind." he said and just went up another level.

level by level she got up only to have john catch up right away. "wow, did you have government training or something?" she laughed lightl falling behind one level than him.

John laughed, "no, I just had a lot of free time." he said with a smile adn finally got passed her.

lina chewed on her bottom lip trying to get mario to jump a little higher by holding the button longer that she was supposed to. it worked. to an extent. she reached the same level as john and blew it when she ran into a bad mushroom. "damn, well i made top three. its better than i did last time." she shrugged. she looked over at johns screen to see how he was doing.

John smiled and then made himself lose since he knew that he could continue to play for a long time. "true and you did great." he said and he had gotten second place.

lina smiled. "video game finatic and extrordinair? hmmn." she smiled pulling him to the hardest of hard games in the arcade. gallaga. she smiled setting it to a one player game and looked back at him. "ever play gallaga before?" she gestured to the machine.

"I have heard of it but never played it." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

she smiled poking the coin in the machine. "im first place on the score boards in gallaga. think you can beat me?" she smiled again at him.

John smiled, "maybe, I dont know till I try." he said and started to play the game.
