With her teeth starting to stop chattering, Alex sat up and hugged Patch. "I'm so stupid..."

Patch kept her close and kissed her head, "no, your not." he said and wrapped the blanckets around her tighter and held her closer.

(( i got my BF an art book. hes one of those artsy type guys. it would be easier to find out what to get him if you know what hes like ^^ ))

lina smiled at him and nodded. she continued to skate around with him and kept her skates close together, so not to fall. "thanks." she said after awile.

((I dont have a BF so I really dont know))

John skated next to her and smiled, "no problem, always here for you." he said as he smiled at her. She may be clumsy but she still looked amazing on skates to him.

lina smiled at him and nodded reaching for his hand. "that makes me feel so much better." she blushed as her heart skipped a beat.

John smiled and took her hand into his. "glad that it does." he said and the song 'I'm yours'

lina couldnt stop smiling after that. the music was turned off and a voice over came into the rink. "this next song goes out to all the couples on the ice." it was a smooth talking voice. probably a male DJ. she watched as the single skaters left the rink and only a few couples remained on the ice holding hands. she smiled up at john as a slow romantic song came on.

John smiled and skated to the middle and pulled her into his arms. "you know you look beautifull." he said as he looked into her eyes and knew this had to be a perfect moment.

lina smiled in his arms being carefull not to slip so near to him. "im only as beautiful as you are utterly amazing." she breathed in and held it a moment. then she let it out and smiled again at him. "you know. i think i love you."

John smiled at her and held her closer, "and I think I love you." he said softly and looked at her lips. he couldn't help it then and kissed her deeply.

lina smiled at him and he kissed her. she stopped skating at all and focused on only him. his smell. his touch. his taste. she leaned up more wrapping her arms around him.

JOhn smiled and kissed her back. She was the only thing that mattered now and nothing else. Her sent made his mind go crazy and her touch only made him want her more.

Alex finally warmed up and looked up at him with a small smile and tilt of her head. "Got a radio?"

lina kept kissing him even when the bright lights came back on and the music stopped and started again this time a faster beat. she pulled back, unable to let herself out of his arms and smiled. "want to keep skating?"

Patch nodded and pointed to the one at his night stand. "yeah I do." he said as he looked at her

John smiled at her, "if that is waht you want or we could head out and do something else." he said as he looked at her and didn't care what they do or where they went. As long as he was with Lina he was happy.

Alex jumped off the bed and turned on the radio, then sat back down next to him. She felt bad that Lina and Patch weren't together, but once she thought about it, Lina did have John now, and they did a terrible thing, sort of betting on Patch. She looked up at Patch and thought about how happy she was that she was with him right then. She kissed his cheek lightly and leaned on him. Her eyes had been relaxing their way shut when she heard the front door slam. She panicked. Feeling her heart starting to beat faster, Alex hid under hte covers.

Patch sighed and knew that his dad just came home. He would just grab a beer and pass out on the couch like usual. He poked Alex under the coveres and smiled at her, "dont worry, nothing going ot happen." he said with a smile at her, "just my dad and he never checks on me."

lina looked around as everyone came back up onto the ice. "lets go before someone puts my biggest fall on youtube or something." she smiled up at him. "and im happy anywhere as long as im with you."

John smiled at her, "how about if I take you to go and get some lunch." he said with a smile and started to lead her off of the ice.

lina looked around. "sure. im up for anything." she smiled getting to a small bench and sat down taking off her skates.

John sat down next to her and takes off his skates, "okay, then how about if we head to red robins for lunch"

lina put her skates on the counter to return them and looked over at him. "okay. its a date." she smiled, putting her own shoes back on.

John smiled at her and nodded as he put on his shoes, "yes, it is." he said as he stood up and held out his hand to her.

lina took his hand and they both walked out. she looked around and tried to remember where the restraunt was from where they currently were.

John smiled and leads the way down the street since he remembered passing one when he was driving into town
