I'm not used to being naked on websites since I've been on Gaia for so long.
How 'bout you?
When you were first starting out trying to earn gold on here, did you find it awkward to post in a place where most other people aren't nude?

I didn't, then again, I always preferred chatting and having a good time meeting new people and making friends over pixels. The pixels are always just a bonus for me. =)

That, and I've been on a multitude of sites where I've been new or naked many times and I've just gotten used to it. :yes:

At the very beginning I did. After awhile I was okay with it.

TBH it bugged me, so I started to save for items, and here I am now ^_^

Nah, never had a problem with it... I just chat, and play games, and eventually I have enough for clothes... ^.^

I did, at first. I didn't realize I could make enough money for clothes in a while of gaming. And I joined sometime before Halloween '08, too...~

I did not feel out of place, infact I embraced my nekkidness with other newbies and felt right at home on this site. xD Then in threads where people wern't nude I'd enjoyed the thought of streaking through their thread.

When I joined Mene, I think there were more naked people than clothed people.

o3o Not really. I don't see how there's anything awkward about it... I mean, its pixelated underwear. Its not a big deal. xD

I'm new and I feel a little out of place. On my other avatar website, I normally inhabit the Avatar Talk/Chat forum and am able to get into conversations about item layering and colors. Here I am not entirely sure how things stack and I feel outside in what is usually my own element.

But at least I am gaining items slowly and learning how to work themes here. Can't wait until I get my first avatar finished.

I'm new and pretty much naked, and I feel so out of place and noob-ish. Haha.

I've never feelt out of place when I was naked, on this website or any other one. And I really wasn't naked for long, because I quickly started saving and I've got nice clothes.

When I joined, pretty much everyone was in some state of undress on this site. There weren't all that many items on the site (probably less than 100) and it was much much harder to earn gold at that time so it was normal. It never bothered me.

I started playing when pretty much everyone was nude~ *coughcough*
Well, not QUITE everyone~ but it was quite common. : P
Probably more people in the nekki than in clothes.

When I was new here to Menewsha, I definitely felt uncomfortable being naked, especially since I had come from a site where I had a multitude of commons to appease my dressing needs. xDD;; I felt so uncomfortable I maxed out Tetris to gain 500g and made some really simple outfit (consisted of a basic singlet, a teenie skirt, and some shoes) so that I wouldn't be completely naked. ^^;; And then I started playing games a lot just so I could earn enough money to make a much more decent and prettier avatar. 8DD;; Which worked out very well for me in the end. XP <3<3

Nobody look I'm naked xD. It does feel a bit uncomfortable but hey we were all naked in the start of our lives too.

No, why would I feel out of place just because my avatar is naked? That's just silly and I can't make sense of all the newbies here who are always commenting about that as if they find it so weird. I enjoy the need to make gold and dress myself, that I believe is the fun of these websites.

Besides we all came into this world naked, its how we all begin life not just these websites.

It didnt bug me, actually. XD Since, when I joined, I couldnt find any stuff to my liking. >o> In fact, I RPed for about month (before I went on hiatus) completely naked and bought my self some clothes only when I returned. XD;
Though, I think I might hage felt tiiny bit awakwrd at first, but when I made my quest of that expensive dress (reason why I didnt get any clothing - I was saving up XD) I really didnt care anymore.

Amusingly enough, I just remembered, that one of my RP partners was naked as well, and I didnt care much for avatar aprt of this site, actually, back then. XD

not really, I knew that eventually I'm gonna get clothes.................and especially Sora clothes, so I was just a little cold XDD or my avatar was anyways XP

Not really. I felt a bit odd during events, but I earned gold quickly and baught a dress. Now I have 3! And a but-load of items from said events.

Yeah, for awhile I felt like I would never get any items for my avatar because the gold system is much different then on a few other communities. But then I got used to it, played the games most of the time, and finally got some clothes.

Now I'm working up on my second outfit. I feel like a failure, lol. I've been on this site for over a year and I'm just now working my way up to a second outfit.

I think its quite terrible xD Well i managed to find a nice outfit in the end <3

I didn't really feel awkward but then again I wasn't naked very long... But I kinda embrace that about menewsha you can be actually naked and no one is gonna make a big deal out of it...
Its different here than on gaia because we all know that we start out naked and even after we get a lot of clothes and stuff we still know that and we dont act mean towards the noobies who are naked....

I felt really strange, since there are no newb freebies. That's a nice motivation to be active around the community though, and I'm very glad I started out naked. It definitely made me make friends fast XD
