Maybe death as a vampire, or brought back from the brink of death. Like how a human can lose all their memories if they'd been brain dead for several minutes (I think it's 10 or 15) and are then revived...

Be creative with it. I'm sure you'll come up with something. Perhaps she was in love, and Ty/Vince killed her family in front of her, and she blocked out her previous life to save herself from the pain, and it just happened to stick for longer than a little while. It's really up to you what happened with her. These are just suggestions taken from games/movies/tv.

No, you're right. The earth is heading for another ice age. Granted we're still a few hundred (or more) years from that point, but we aren't getting warmer at all. If it seems like the caps are melting, they aren't. They bloody well shift like ice does. Ice is always moving, even if it looks solid, it's not really on the greater scale. Up close, you hear the pops and crunches, but the ice looks solid. It's always moving.

There was a study awhile ago (dunno how real this is, take with grain of salt) where surveyors were supposed to go to the caps to measure how much the ice has melted from the 'heat wave' gripping the world.

Their findings?

They couldn't go up there because it was too cold.

well it may be healing the hole in the ozone considering it was cfc's that caused it in the first place, though it maybe because the trees as takinging in all the methane, and carbondioxide, we put out, and turning it into the oxegon needed for that.

Actually. Holes appear in the Ozone layer all the time, but it naturally heals itself. It's been doing it since the beginning of existence. It constantly repairs any damage it sustains from anything.

Global warming is a lie. Holes in the ozone are nothing to worry about. As it is, there is no way that we, humanity as a whole, actually produce enough toxins to do lasting damage to the ozone. If it were true, it would have happened already about...15 years ago when they kept saying there was a large hole in the ozone and that it couldn't repair itself. Well. It did repair itself. and if all that BS were true the earth and everything on it would already be dead and eaten up, burnt, and radiated by the sun's UV rays.
