I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I bet y'all thought I fell off the planet and died a painful horrible death on the way down, huh?

Well, as you guys know, I haven't been on Menewsha in a long time... And at this point, an apology just sounds like a lie, since I've had plenty of times when I could have been here, RPing with y'all.

I'd like to update y'all if you're willing to read it...

When I first started on Menewsha, I came here from Gaia. Yeah, I'm on Zantarni too, but I haven't checked there in an even longer amount of time. Over the past few months, I'd found a new reason to be on Gaia more than anywhere else, but now that the novelty has worn off, and another reason I'll mention in a minute, I'm starting to branch out to other sites again.

In September my best friend invited a guy she knew from Gaia to stay at her house for a couple of days. He'd been going through a rough time and she thought he'd kill himself if he didn't get a break. I was against it at first, told her how dangerous it was, but she insisted she'd checked him out fully. She is a mod on Gaia after all, she can do stuff like that. Dunno how, don't care really. Anyway, he came down from another state, 9 hours away (550 miles). He stayed for 5 (i think) days, and went home without an incident.

I don't know where it came from, it's certainly never happened before, and it's something out of an RP or a trashy romance novel, but when I first saw him standing in my driveway, next to my best friends car, it was like a switch flipped in my mind. I know I stopped completely for a second and just stared at him, it was like my mind had to reboot it's functioning programs again, like speaking, moving, stuff like that. He did the same thing, whatever passed between us, it was felt between the two of us. All of the sudden, I couldn't imagine how I'd lived before without him. Seeing him leave was horrible. But he had to go home. He was just on vacation after all.

He came back two months later, in October, but he was only able to stay for three days that trip. We spent those nights sleeping in the same bed, just holding each other (completely innocent, nothing happened more than snuggling), and on 10/17 at 1am, he asked me out, officially. To which I agreed completely and totally, of course.

We've been long distance dating since then, and in just over two weeks, I'm leaving Virginia for nearly a week to retrieve him from Ohio, where he is currently. Permanently. He's moving down here, moving into my best friend's house until she and her husband, myself and my wonderful boyfriend, can get a house together, since a mortgage is cheaper when split four ways.

The paper route that I'd had, on December 27th, I passed it off to the new carrier, officially quitting the route and making myself unemployed. This past week was one spent in an ucky haze made by a head full of mucus... Haven't been sick since starting the job at the mall in 2009, and when I stop the route I catch some sick cold.

I want to get into the RPs again, but I wanted to tell you guys what's happened in the past few months.

I'm... happy. Most days I find myself smiling for no reason. Its a new feeling for me.

well then i guess congratulations are in order then, while im sure we're all just as miffed about your forgetting about us ^.~

First I want to say. It's okay that you've been mucking about on Gaia instead of here...I'm not mad or miffed. And secondly. I'm glad your having fun. Boys are soooo fun, most of the time anyway....and if that boy don't treat you right, I'll come over and put him in his place...cause that's what friends do. :hug:

If it's for something as awesome as that then I don't mind you staying away from Menewsha!! :D Just kidding, just kidding. But real life will always come first before Mene, Gaia, Zantarni, or other so there's no need for apologies for not stopping by. It really sucks though that you had to get a cold near the end of the year. Congratulations as well and I hope you two have a wonderful time together!
