I was going to wait for Faiyth to post before I acknowledged Tay's predicament. *shrugs* Yusuke is outside, he should notice what's going on before a dozing Hiei. At least I think so.
----------
We can just say our little conversation came before that crash, ne?

Yeah. I had Kurama noticed the noise and go to investigate but I didn't have him take any action so that Yusuke will still have time to react first.

Yeah, I sent Yukina to check on Genkai and Hiei is just barely on his feet. I'm going to wait for Faiyth to post now.^_^

Oops, forgot about Genkai as well. Bleh. I'll have him notice the next time I post if I remember. >.>
Hm... I usually stir the eggs in the skillet before it gets heated all the way when I make omelets but I'm no chef. T_ T

Really? I always end up with scrambled eggs that way because they stick to the pan if it isn't hot when they go in (but I have cheap pans). lol. I put the eggs in a bowl and mix them with a little milk to make them come out fluffier. Usually I add some spices too before I cook them. *shrugs* Doesn't really matter. He could have been distracted because of sensing the demon subconsciously or something, or deep in thought after that surreal conversation. lol. Or maybe that's just the way he makes omelets and Yukina thinks it's weird. ^_^'

I usually only add milk to the eggs when I'm scrambling them. I wasn't sure if the omelet would form correctly if you added milk. I never add spices to mine either... I'd like to but I'm not really sure what would taste good and what wouldn't. T_ T

I guess it depends on what you are putting in the omelet. With cheese only (which is usually what I make if I make omelets), I like to add salt and pepper, maybe a little bit of garlic and oregano depending on the type of cheese. The Japanese sometimes put sugar in theirs, or so my recipe book tells me. Haven't tried that personally. Really it just depends what you like. Salt and pepper are safe choices to go with most any sort of filling. The milk doesn't stop it from becoming omelety. You just have to be careful not to use more than a slosh.
I love to cook. ^_^

I like cooking but I have a rather limited diet. >.< I'm not a huge fan of cheese so I usually just have plain egg omelets. T_ T It might taste kinda good with sugar but I guess I'd have to try it to find out. Mmm... That makes me think of crepes. I made some last semester that turned out pretty for an evening snack on whim. ^^;

Why is your diet limited? If you don't mind me asking.

Oh, me too. Plus, I'm lactose intolerant so I have to take medicine to eat cheese. It's worth it though. ^_^

@ Faiyth: It might be easier if you try saving your posts in a word processing program and then copy them over to Mene when you're done? It's really quite frustrating for me when you claim a post and edit them in every time because I never know when you're done editing. It gets annoying having to constantly go back to the thread to check. >.<

Hmmm...admittedly it can be a skosh frustrating but I think the point of it is to keep anyone else from posting while she's writing hers, Zig. Typing it in a word processor would not have the same effect.

Hey everyone... Mora's working tonight, so she won't be able to get online until tomorrow, she told me that she has a day off tomorrow...
Strangely enough, we're done doing family get-togethers on my end, which is weird for my oddly tight-knit family... though we are all a little dysfunctional... oh well, anyway... I'm around... ^ ^

Then maybe post in the ooc to say "hey I'm posting wait for me?" or at least come back here and post to tell us when you're done?

Wow. Um. How about you back off?
I don't have Word on this computer, and it's been acting funny so I don't trust it.
Obviously I was getting buried underneath a bunch of posts and wanted to make sure I got a word in. So sorry that inconvenienced you. When it thunderstorms, I really don't know when my flimsy power is going to go off, so I was trying to get a post in before that happened. Clearly that didn't happen and I can't control that. Regardless, I don't appreciate the attitude at all. I didn't claim a post with the intention of being attacked or snapped at for it. I know I haven't been as active as I used to be, but frankly I have a lot of personal stuff going on and I can't be. I'm trying my best to stay caught up and it's really hard when I get buried. So once again, excuse my attempts to keep up. Really.

We realize that you were just holding your place, Faiyth. I said as much actually. Zig, was just wondering why you didn't hold it by posting in here rather than in the RP thread. Seems like the same difference to me as long as you post in here to let us know when you're done posting. ^_^
Everyone (including me) seems to be pretty stressed recently and tempers are short in here. Maybe we should all try to take a few deep breaths before we vent our frustration on each other, for the sake of the RP and the friendships we've built while participating in it. :)

I agree that we should all try to calm it down in here. I didn't ask in a bitchy manner Faiyth, I was just calmly exposing a pet peve of mine that you seem to do quite often and tried to offer two different solutions around it. Pretty much all of of us stated in here that we were waiting to give you a chance to post so it didn't really seem necesary that you reserve it unless you hadn't had the chance to read those messages yet. I'm not here in your thread to tell you what to do I was just asking if it would be possible for you to post in a way that would notify us when you are finished.

If everyone was waiting on me to post anyway, why get so frustrated when I go to do it?
Also, it's hard for me not to react offensively when someone makes a comment that's 'you you you'. Regardless of whether or not it was intended, it came off that way to me. And no, I didn't have the chance to check the OOC board. I finally got some online time and it was storming, so I went to try to quickly post before my power went out.

If Zig is talking about you reserving a post, you have done that several times. Especially when the thread is in danger of moving out from under you and you have a large post to make. However, I've done the same thing and I believe Mora may have done so at one point as well. I don't have a problem with the practice as long as the person reserving the post informs people via the OOC thread once the post is completed. ^_^' Barring technical difficulties of course. *shrugs* I vote we change the subject.
So who wants to post next? ^_^

I know I've done it once when you and Mora were posting too quickly but I let everyon know in here as soon as I was done editing. I am going to bed now so you can post if you want. Don't worry about leaving me behind.
