I avoided Gaia for a few simple reasons... the cash shop was one thing to avoid, and my ex-friend who made me miserable still has an account there, though I would imagine that she never goes on anymore either... so I've decided I'm not going to avoid it just because she has an account there... >.<

The cash shop annoys me but I ignore it. And it shouldn't be a big deal, you can block her and report her if she does anything out of line.

I know, she never bothered to contact me anyway after we stopped being friends... aside from a few nasty messages at first, that I tried to ignore.. I eventually blocked her until she gave up... so I'm back there now.

I really only have one important friend on Gaia but we hardly speak anymore. It's not that we don't like each other anymore, we just don't keep up with messaging each other. We really only hang out when she's home from college nowadays. I can't even remember who half of my friends on the site are anymore. I wish there was some way of adding a note beside them or something to remind me of what we did together. >.<

Yeah, that would be helpful.. and I could clean up my friend list... get rid of the ones I never talk to anymore... >.<

I've been trying to do that on here but I'm afraid of hurting people's feelings. T_T On Gaia I don't worry about it so much for some reason. I try to at least organize them by groups there. Like these people are for zOMG!, those for roleplaying, etc. It doesn't always work though. T_T

I think my friends on Mene are better. We get to know each other a bit better around here I think.

Well, yeah... since there's ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING here... we have no choice but to talk to people and we have a better chance of making friends here than on Gaia... but I've rediscovered the fun things I liked about Gaia... ^ ^

I rediscovered why I liked Gaia a few weeks ago...it lasted about three days before I rediscovered why I left. lol

One thing I like about Gaia better than here is that you can put images in the formatting of your posts. You can customize them here somewhat but it's considered spam if you include a certain image in all of your posts. I liked being able to spruce up my posts for roleplays. >.<

Yeah, that's one of the things I liked... I like zOMG! too, but I was terrible at playing it in the beginning, now I'm getting better at it... IN fact... My so-called LEVEL is 3.7 right now... o.o

@ Mora: I liked playing it too but now all the elitists bug the crap out of me. They pay cash for revives and crap and think I'm stupid when I don't want to waste my hard earned money on that crap when I know you can beat the bosses without them.

Yeah, that is kinda annoying... I don't bother buying stuff for real money... at least, I can't afford to waste my money on pixels for now... maybe when I have a steady income, but that's only a maybe... and even then, I'd probably only go for the monthly items... if I like them... >.<

I only buy the monthly collectibles that I just can't live without. That doesn't happen very often and a lot of times I'll just buy them with gold rather than cash. I think I can count the number of things I've bought with real cash from that site on one hand. The same goes for Mene too though I've started to contribute to this site more. I feel it deserves it more then Gaia.

I'm a steady contributor to mene and I used to be a fairly constant one on Gaia but not anymore.

*shrugs* Just the massive amount of spam, the larger percentage of jerks, and the fact that I can't seem to connect with people there the way I do here.

Gaia turned me away from spending money on pixels long before I joined this site so I never really contributed here. I was never even that interested in the CIs here until a year ago maybe. Then I kept telling myself that I'd contribute if there was an item that I really liked but there never seemed to be and then all of a sudden I started really liking some of them and ended up buying one of the CIs like three months in a row!

Yeah, that sounds about right. I used to like it a lot more because there was a greater variety of roleplays but I have what I want for the moment here. Some of the people over there are getting crazy with their "advanced literate" roleplays where you have to make like a thirteen post biography of your character in a test thread and then write like ten paragraph posts with like ten sentences each. That's a bit much I feel.

Yeah, I don't understand that... I mean, I cna understand if someone WANTS to write that much in a single post... but don't expect the rest of us to copy you on that... I consider myself Advanced-Lit sometime, but only in the QUALITY of my work, not the quantity...

Anyway, gotta go for tonight... need to get up at 5am... I'd still like to do that Yu Yu rp I mentioned with you two, but only if you're available for it... otherwise, I'll keep the info safe... LATERS!!! ^ ^

don't worry about it, you two... as I said, I'll be keeping the information safe... ^ ^ I have a fair few things new going on for me as well... with the help of the Job Club, I'm looking for jobs suited to my interests... that and a few new friends from the Job Club, along with myself... we're planning to start doing some D&D. I've only played once with my friend Holly and her group, but I liked it... so that may occupy a bit of my time... as I said before... and I have no doubt I will say it many times... whenever you guys are ready... then I shall be too. I'm pretty much ALWAYS up to new roleplays... so it's whenever you two are available... keep it in mind, and let me know when you DO have time... and BTW... I have some money down on a pre-order of POkemon Black myself... so I'll be getting it when I have a bit more money, and when it officially comes out. ^ ^

Currently my time is occupied by my new HeartGold game that I got... and I have a lv50 Celebi even though it's only the beginning... xD GameStop promotions and stuff are AWESOME!! I also made sure to get Celebi on my Pearl as well, so I don't have to trade a single Celebi to the other games that I get... although I will MOST DEFINITELY be trading Celebi to Black when I get it... >.>

That's exciting. I haven't been able to play D&D since I graduated. Unfortunately none of my nerdy college friends live around here. I'll be going back to visit our group's annual con though so I should be able to play a few games then. ^^;

Pokemon comes out tomorrow but my copy probably won't be here for a few more days. I ordered mine online since I wasn't sure if I'd have the time to pick up a copy in the store. I love the Pokemon giveaways at GameStop as well. There's been a lot these past two months. There were shiny copies of Raicu, Entei, and Suicine, Celebi, and at ToysRUs there was Ash's Pikachu. I was extremely fortunate and managed to get a copy of each of them even though we don't live near a GameStop. I actually got two of Raicu, Entei, and Suicune but traded one set to my fiance. They'll permit you to get Zoroark in Black and White and then trading Celebi over will allow you to get it's pre-evolution Zorua. Then you'll be able to get Victini for Black and White through an internet download after it's release. I'm so excited. I just finished everything I wanted to do in Sapphire today. I have a few more things to finish in Diamond as well and I haven't finished Gold yet since I just got it for Christmas but I'll probably put that on hold until after I play through the new one.

D&D... :drool: Now I'm jonesing to play. lol. I used to play all the time but my group consists of only three people anymore and my hubby hasn't been feeling the RP vibe for a while. Stupid bipolar. >_< So we haven't played in ages. My dice are probably feeling quite neglected. What edition do you play/will you play?

well, my friend Adam is leading our group and he's only used to version 3.0-3.5, cause that's how he learned with his group... I've only ever played ONE game with my friend Holly and her group... so I don't even know what rules they followed in their game... so, I'm open to it... In fact, I just scanned in the picture of my D&D character, so I'll post it up as soon as I can... ^ ^

Aw, it's a shame we don't live closer because my dice are feeling pretty out of use as well. At least there are plenty of them to keep each other company in their disuse. ^^;

I've played 3.5 and 4.0 both. I have to say I prefer 3.5 better but both are okay. I feel 3.5 lends itself better to storytelling while 4.0 seems more combat-oriented.
