Meh, I don't mind gore too much... it doesn't bother me, writing it out in explicit detail? that's another story entirely... I don't write gore, I just don't mind it when I see it in movies, or if someone else writes it, I can manage, but otherwise, I can only do so much with a bloody scene... xP
I'm not afraid of blood, but whenever I need to get a shot or need to get blood drawn, I greatly dislike watching my blood come out into the needle, I always look away, without fail...

I dunno... There's just something about watching a person get cleaved in half that I just can't stomach. >.< If it's in an anime that's one thing, it's not real human flesh and blood, but if it's in a movie... That's something else entirely. Movies have the nasty habit of making things look uncannily real. >.<

not if you watch the really old, crappy horror films... those look so fake it's pathetic... Dx Even in Blood Rayne, the gore is a bit fake, some of it looks decent, like it might be real, and other parts look really fabricated... emphasized gore just for the effect.... xP

DDD: I'm so sorry Saravi! I kinda just passed out. X__x
I'll post as soon as I get home from school!
EDIT: I just discovered another pet peeve of mine. D: When people use English names for Japanese characters who don't have any western influence in their heritage. x_x

Mmm, yeah, that's really annoying... that would be the same as people giving a character a Japanese, or even Chinese name when the character has no Japanese or Chinese heritage/lineage in their blood...

That sounds like it would be annoying... thankfully, I don't do stuff like that... my character Taykayo is actually British, but his mom married a Japanese business-man so they moved to Japan so they could live with him.

If you're not feeling well, you should stay home.
I apparently don't have any schedule today. I called my boss to tell him I was going to be a bit late for work and found out he took me off the schedule for the day. I'm not even working later tonight. Instead, I'm working tomorrow.

I should stay home but I really can't... I'd miss three classes today. I have to take notes in two of them because I get paid to do so and the third is an important class for my major... T_T

Well that really sucks... I always hated going to school when I felt sick... it was always my mom who woud force me to go, because I wasn't 'sick enough'. Apparently I had to be so sick that I was puking a lot to be able to avoid school... but I am grateful for her keeping me in school, or I'd have missed more classes than was necessary and I might not have graduated...

Yeah... I dunno. Sometimes I feel just too obligated to go to class I feel but it really is a lot harder to miss classes in college. In high school teachers usually put in the effort to give you the papers and notes you missed but in college it's completely up to you to make up what you missed out on. I feel like it takes more time to try to catch up than it does to just go to class... >.<

yeah, I know how that is... xP
I didn't quite make it through a year of college, I didn't have the focus, or the sense of mind to go to class when I was supposed to... I was in a very dark place in my mind that year, I was always depressed, and it showed by the fact that I would skip out on class and not do any of my work... =(
I plan to go back to college eventually, but only on my own terms, and when I have some money to pay for tuition myself, that way my mom doesn't have to pay for it.. I already owe her too much money for all the things she's done for me, I don't want to owe her any more than I already do.

Yeah, I know how that can be. The person I'm rooming right right now is dealing with some severe depression and should have graduated by now but has managed to stick around for 2 extra years so far because she can't seem to get out of her rut and go to enough classes to graduate. It's really quite frustrating living with her because she tends to push her problems onto me all the time and not in a nice way. I really appreciate the way that you're thinking about things, that you seem to be taking responsibility for your education. That seems like much more of a mature solution. ^_^
But anyway, on a lighter note, I hope things are going much better for you now. <3 From the way you're talking that seems to be the case but one can never know for sure. ^^;

Yeah, I'm doing good now... but I have to see a counselor once every two weeks to keep me from going back into depression... that and I have some family issues, mostly with my dad and stuff... xP

That doesn't sound too bad. I went to a counselor for a while in high school because of a mild depression dealing with self esteem issues (since a lot of people were picking on me at school).
Family stuff can be really hard too. My parents were divorced when I was around two years old I think and it often creates complications and drama. Fortunately things have lightened up a bit since I don't have to do visitations anymore but with college graduation coming up things are starting to get hectic again trying to plan everything out. >.<

My parents divorced when I was two as well, and my dad stopped coming to see me when i was five years old... now he's trying to get back into my life again, like the fifteen years without him never even happened...Dx
