Well... I'm playing Pokemon Diamond and I just went though the part with Mt. Coronet just to get the to the end and be defeated by Team Galactic because I didn't bring the right team with me because I didn't exactly know what I was up against. So I'm going to have to go through the whole entire dungeon over again. *Sigh* It's a really long one... >.<

Ohh, I really hate when that happens... naturally I don't know the area you're talking about, but I used to do that.. I would play my game and get really far and die... or I would forget to save and end up having to go through it allll over again after the power would run out on me and the game would turn itself off from lack of battery power..... Dx

Yeah, that happened to me in Pokemon yellow, I just made it through victory road, thought I saved it and turned it off. Later I realized that I hadn't saved at all.

The place I'm in is a mountain full of level 40ish pokemon. You have to battle the pokemon and the equivalent of Team Rocket all the way to the top (which is a long way) then fight 2 minibosses, then the boss, and after that you have to try to catch the legendary pokemon, all in one freaking go. Seeing as my pokemon are between level 44 and 47 only, they are having difficulty. Also the fact that my enemies use a lot of dark pokemon which are strong against my psychic pokemon. T_T

Do you have any fighting types? If so, they're usually rather effective against dark types... from what I remember from crystal and sapphire.... >.>
actually, I'm not so sure of that in sapphire... i don't usually have a fighting type with me... but in Crystal i had one Pokemon that used a fighting type move and it was super-effective against dark type pokemon... which was freakin awesome...
I always have to make sure my pokemon are at least lvl50 before catching any legendaries, unless they're lvl40 and even then I like to be higher so my Pokemon won't die as easy... in Sapphire, I'm currently kinda trying to run into Latias... or Latios... whichever one it is, I think Latias is the red one... >.>

Yeah, you need a fighting type. I have a few but none that are high enough level. I'm used to my Blaziken in Sapphire... I'm usually not a big fan of fighting types so I didn't really bother. I don't think I really thought my party through that well on this one. >.<

I would invest in an umbreon chicka. They can be very useful because of high defense and special defense and since its a pure dark type, it has few really bad weaknesses. Also, did you get the riolu? That would be helpful for your current situation. D:

well, personally, what I would do would be to either go grab a fighting type and train it until it's strong enough... or try teaching a fighting type move to one of my current pokemon... those would be things that I would do... >.>

Oooh... I caught Latias with the Master Ball. I was so pissed off though because it appeared once when I didn't have it with me. T_T Either way, whatever I do I'm going to basically have to redo everything because I'm going to have to go back to a pokecenter to switch things out. *Sighs*

I had to catch Kyogre with the Master Ball because I didn't have enough of my other Pokeballs to catch it at the time... Dx
I didn't want to just defeat it... I wanted to catch it, so I did... but now I'm out of luck with Latias, because I don't have a pokeball... I have to try and put it to sleep if I want to catch it now...
but I'm not gonna restart my game because I have all three starting pokemon... I have a second GBA system and a game-link cable... so I was able to switch over the starters from starting new games on ruby version... ^ ^
I just checked my pokedex... it is Latias I'm looking for...

Oh, sorry Faiyth I didn't see your message. I did get the Riolo so that would be a good one to train. The only thing is that it's level 1... T_T That's a lot of work ahead of me. >.< An Umbreon would be nice too but I'm trying to wait for my boyfriend to get me a ditto to breed my Eevee before I start turning any of them into anything...

That sucks about the Kyogre... I would have gone back to buy more, I wouldn't have used the Master Ball... I only used one for the first time ever with Kyogre. I've always saved them and never actually used them for anything. O. o

Yeah, whenever I have to catch legendaries, I do my best to NOT use the Master Ball, especially if I know the legendary will stick around to fight rather than run off before I can make a move... I only ever use the Master Ball on legendaries that run away almost immediately unless I have a pokémon out front that can put them to sleep before they run off... Dx
I refused to run back through the dungeon to buy more ultra and great balls to catch Kyogre.. the dungeon was sooo annoying... so I didn't want that... and all I had left after a while was the master ball and like I said, I didn't want to miss the chance to catch it... >.>
I wish I even had an eevee right now... I have an umbreon in Crystal version... I have Sapphire, Ruby, Crysal and Yellow version...
I eventually would like to get blue, red, and all the other GBA or GB versions, along with the NinDS versions after I get the money to buy a DS to begin with... Dx
In yellow version, I once managed to catch MEWTWO with nothing more than an ultra ball... leaving my master ball to be used on something else if I felt so inclined, but that was a long time ago, I had to restart the game because it got seriously screwed up by a glitch in the game and I caught a pokemon that didn't exist... >.>
Now it doesn't quite run right anymore...

Yeah. I only have Yellow, the old Gold version that I borrowed from a friend and he never asked for it back, Sapphire, and Diamond. I'm not a hug fan of Diamond though, the storyline seems pretty crappy to me compared to Sapphire and the earlier games...

Hmm... my first game ever was blue version, but I lost it.. it belonged to a friend, but she let me use it and basically have it, but then I lost it... then I played yellow version and liked it better than blue or red... which I have played both blue and red... >.>
I want to get gold and silver, so I don't just have crystal, but I love my crystal game anyway because I caught Suicune with an ultra ball, so I still have the master ball on that one... ^ ^

Yellow was my first game. I liked it a lot because Pikachu would follow you around a lot and you could get all of the starting pokemon. I really really like what they've done with the new Gold and Yellow games by having your pokemon follow you around all the time, I think it's really cute. It's basically the one that has me really wanting to buy it... Besides feeling left out by all of my friends and their stupid pokewalkers 24/7. Grr.

Hmm.. yeah, if I could get those games, I would feel a little more inclined to walk more often and that would help me lose weight and simply help me get out of the house for however long I feel I need to be... >.>

It's a bunch of fishermen... which is perfect for me to level up my lvl55 Manectric... who is female and named Electra... xD
