I think ball-jointed dolls are quite beautiful, but I'm afraid being an underemployed independent leaves me little money for making such a purchase.

I'm sorry, but I don't like ball-jointed dolls...I like My Little Ponies (G1- old school)!
My favorite is Applejack...she's on my bookshelf. My old roommate didn't like them in our doom though. They creeped her out. ^^

Lucky! You have Applejack? I collect the old ones too. I buy them whenever I find them at garage sales or second chance stores. I don't like the new ones. They're too anorexic (though they've improved since they first came out) and generally, well, preppy.

My favorite is Magic Star. I have her fuzzy version.

A lot of people on here seem to like Ball Jointed Dolls. In fact, just today, I've read about 3 or 4 newbie threads written by people who love them. I think they are pretty, but it upsets me when they eat my family, so I don't have any.
