I beg to differ, Lilith. Have you ever heard her sing in the shower?
Not only does she sound downright awful, but she's so vain!
SHE PROBABLY THINKS THE SONG IS ABOUT HER! :insane:

lol
shower singing is always the worst.
I was just thinking and I don't remember a single song in that entire movie.
That must have been a first for Disney. Their movies usually have at least 4 big song scenes.

 Silly Facade.
Kida kicks butt! I like the old school princesses, with their forest animals and musical numbers too though. ^_^ Yeah, I don't think Atlantis was a musical. Most Disney fairytales were/are.

Yeah, I remember it not having songs!
I'm glad Disney isn't too predictable. I recently saw Up, and I fell in love with it! :insane:
And to be perfectly honest, I'd never expect Disney to go for a storyline like that.

Up is amazing.
Everyone should see it.
hm... I'm trying to think of other Disney movies that didn't sing.
Does Alice in Wonderland have music?

Yes. the cartoon version does anyway. Live action movies, a lot of them don't sing. Wall-e doesn't either.

I've noticed that the live movie (or at least the newer ones) don't sing.
If you look at the older ones they are just packed full of singing though.
Yes, I knew there was another movie I had seen recently that didn't have singing.
Though I bet it is hard to having singing numbers when neither of the main characters talk. lol

lol, true. I love the old live action Cinderella. So pretty.
Yes...There are a couple of dance numbers in Wall-e though. ^_^

I don't think I've seen that version of Cinderella.
The dance scenes were so cute. ^^

Oh, you should. Roger's and Hammerstien's Cinderella. Now that I think about it, I'm not certain it's Disney...I thought it was but now I'm doubting myself. Still great movie. Check it out.
I loved Wall-e! Such a good movie! I absolutely adore MO!

I'll have to.
I love different versions of fairy tales.
It really is. My sister told me it wasn't any good and that I shouldn't watch it but I ended up watching it and I loved it.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella? Wasn't that the one with Brandi?
If so, I loved that one - especially because of how racially diverse it was. :)

Woops, I don't know if she's talking about the version I'm thinking of. :O
There were a few Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderellas; the original in like 1957, another in the '60s, and the '97 one with Brandy, Whitney Houston, Whoopi Goldberg, and some other people.

Not the Brandi one. Hahaha....I had forgotten about that one. It was okay but I liked the older one better. Not sure if it was the original or the sixties one. It was magical though. ^_^
There was someone who didn't like Wall-e? What's not to like? I lurved it! ^_^

She said the robot voices were annoying and that it was overall a horrible movie.
So I now no longer listen to her movie opinions.

Yeah, I loved Up more than Wall-E.
But they're both great! It's fascinating how they're still able to come up with great new storylines and produce unique cartoons. :)

It is.
I love those two movies because they both had meaning behind them.
And not the normal meaning that most Disney movies have.
Plus who doesn't love cute little robots and grumpy old men?

Yes, the new stuff is good but for some reason they still feel the need to ruin the old happily ever afters by making sequels to all the classic fairy tales. Cinderella III? Come on. *scoffs*

I know. The sequels should stop.
Though I actually kind of liked Cinderalla 3 or at least more then the 2nd one.
Well just look at Aladdin. How many of those did they make?
You know a good sequel? Brother Bear 2.
It was pretty good.

Aladdin was very loosely based off 1001 Arabian nights so sequels were okay for that. They made three movies and a cartoon series from it, I believe. Other newer movies like Lilo and Stitch I'm also okay with the sequels. I just have issues with movies like Cinderella and the Little Mermaid having sequels (though Little Mermaid has all manner of issues because if they hadn't disneyed the heck out of it, it wouldn't have had a happy ending in the first place). I want my fairy tales to end with "They lived happily ever after." Not "They lived happily ever after until some marketing executive thought they squeeze a couple more dollars out of the franchise." Grr...
