When I used to dye my hair I would be in beauty shops that long and I know I hated it.
Especially the later years since I can't wear my glasses when they cut/dye so it gives me a really bad headache.

I bleach my hair at home. Then dye it PINK!

That's what I started doing. Mainly because it goes from being around $50 for them to bleach it to being maybe $20. Plus, other then my cousin who is my current beautician, most will only use their products on people so they would never dye my hair with the products I wanted them to use.
Plus it is so much nicer to be able to be home and watch tv.
And the last three times I've dyed my hair I put the dye in an hour or two before bed then sleep in it all night.

Only dyed my hair pink once though. Did red, purple, and blue a lot though.

@Lilith - It actually only took 2 hours, coz my hair is thin and short. So yay! And it totally came out better then i expected & only cost me $150 for the straightening and $10 for a trim and fringe. :D

Ohh true... don't you hate the smell of the chemicals? It's revolting lol.

My hair takes forever because it is super thick.
That's a pretty good price.

I know. It is so horrible.
That is another reason I like to dye my hair at home because then I can sit outside.

My hair used to be thick - but the chemo has thinned it the hell out... *grrrrowl*

My hair is think (per amount of hair) but also each hair is actually thick.
My hair absorbes dye and chemicals much more then most. When I get my hair dyed/bleached it takes twice as much as others.

@Lilith - Yeah my friends took 4 hours.

I'm gonna have to extend the judging deadline due to menewsha being down for hours.
I'll have to poke the judges too, i haven't seen them in around much.

I have a hairdresser phobia. I hate for anyone to mess with my hair. Bad childhood experiences with involuntary haircuts. *shudder* O_o'

I had some bad haircuts when I was young too and a lot of unwanted haircuts too. But I still like to go and get my hair done. Especially at my cousins shop. She does my hair perfectly.

I honestly have not had that many haircuts. I have cut my own hair several times. *evil laugh!*

And my sister shaved my head once.

Wow shaved head.

I used to get my hair cut once a week because it grows so fast. That probably happened for four years.
Now I get it cut every month or two.

I was losing my hair cause of chemotherapy anyway, so it wasn't just a random head shaving.

And I need some dinnerz.
