((Ok we can say that things have calmed down but they are still hostile towards each other... say a ceasefire so to speak?))
It had been some time since the young warrior had made contact with Kalika but he had thought of her everyday. He couldn't get her off his mind for some reason and he figured that it was because he wanted her. He had some nights where he couldn't sleep because all he could think of was her and it scared him making him feel like he was obsessed but in a way he was. He had this hunger for her, for her body and to make her his. In the nights since they had met he had slept with many women trying to get her off his mind and now he was here, at the Temple of Ares figuring now was as good a time as any to meet his father. He had asked that all the priests leave the alter room until he finished since he had no idea what was going to happen.
Getting down on his knees he spoke with his deep rough voice calling out to the God of War, "Ares, I come to you now as your humble servant... strong because of your will. I seek an audience with you Ares and I hope that you will oblige." Just as he finished the statue of the God moved and its eyes flashed with a vibrant red glow. Looking down on the boy from the vision of the statue Ares looked at him with a stern face, "Ariston. This is the first time we have met my boy, but I have been watching you. It seems you have made quite the reputation for yourself which is to be expected from the son of Ares." Aris looked up at his father with an intensity in his eyes that only his enemies knew and he barked, "So you are my father then? Why is it you have not revealed yourself to me in all this time? My mother hates me with a passion and has been scheming to kill me with her beasts and in the form of men and women both yet you sit back on the sidelines and allow this all to happen! What kind of father are you!?!"
Ares stood up from the alter and switched from a statue to a human revealing his true form to his son. The two men were identical in almost every way except the God was bulkier, taller and his hair was a jet black that complimented his olive colored skin. Their eyes were both the same honey colored haze but Aris had an outer ring around his eye that was a light shade of green whereas Ares' was a shade of blue. Stopping when he was less than arms length away from Aris he punched the boy directly in the face sending him sprawling to the floor. "I have watched you grow and mature by the trials that you have been through. I am not the type of God to coddle a boy and keep him from becoming a man. Look at how you turned out, you are destined for greatness and it is because you have endured. I have been there when you were going through all your rough times you just didn't know it was me. I have always been there for you but I refuse to have a son who cannot take care of himself and cannot survive!"
As the blood trickled out of his mouth Aris stood to his feet with a smile on his face, "You are exactly as I had envisioned you to be. Thank you Ares, I just wanted to know what kind of personality you had and I have what I wanted." The young hazel eyed boy got down on all fours and lowered his head to the floor, "Forgive my rudeness father." Ares looked at his boy with a slight smirk on his face, "Rise boy, you have the markings of a great future but I know that you have your heart set on the daughter of Aphrodite. Listen to me, I have always fought for what I wanted and I will tell you to do the same. I do not think she is good for you but you better not give up on what you believe in. If you do, I will see to it that you are killed myself. You will be great only if you persevere, remember that." And when he finished he placed a strong hand on the boy's head then took a few steps back and vanished.
Smiling as he watched him leave, Aris wiped the blood from his mouth and left the temple in Thebes. He figured he would take some time to walk around and think now that he knew his father was always with him.

A beautiful blonde sat on a rock beside the water's edge. Lightly she drug her hand across the surface creating small ripples. It felt she had not seen Ariston in a life time. She had come to this waterway to go into Thebes in search of him, to see if Aris was the cause of her emptiness.
Her days all blurred together making it hard for her to distinguish what day it was. All she was aware of was that it had been much too long since she had seen him. Kalika had felt empty, hallow after leaving Aris that day. She had been around with a couple of men trying to fill the void in her soul, but still she remained unsatisfied. Her work had seemed lack luster, but she continued to before above par. The beautiful blonde seemed to have become a hallow shell of a young woman.
"Kalika, my darling," a soft and delicate voice rang in her ears. Snapping from her thoughts of Ariston she looked around catching sight of her mother. Smiling softly the mother and daughter embraced. Aphrodite was indeed a beautiful woman with blonde hair like her daughter, though not as long. She was slender unlike Kalika who was composed of more muscle than her mother. The goddess of love had eyes that were dark like the soil of the earth while her daughter had her father's eyes bright as the summer sky. "Mother, I have not seen you in awhile," she answered in a whisper. The goddess nodded in response. "I still watch over you, my daughter. I am with you always."
The young woman looked up into her mother's eyes and shook her head. "I realize this, then you should stop playing your lover's games with me and let me be," she retorted quietly. The goddess let out a quiet laugh and combed her hand threw her daughter's hair. "I have nothing to do with yourself and Ares's son... That is all your doing," she answered lightly poking her daughter in the heart. "Then what am I to do?" she questioned. "Follow your heart, dearest. That's the best thing you can do... I will send your father your love, as well as send you his," Aphrodite grinned gently. Softly she kissed her daughter on the head and went away. "Bye, mother," she sighed.
Pulling her knees up to her chest she placed her chin on them. Could she really slip into Thebes after the scuffles that had occurred between the two cities? Kalika had of course taken out quite a few of their men... but now they were at a cease fire... could they really tell her no? The blonde sat on the rock the gentle breeze blowing her hair as she stared out in the ocean... still thinking.
{i thought since father and son met, daughter and mother should reunite a little as well XD}

((Not a bad idea lol))
Aris walked out into the woods away from Thebes headed out towards the sea. He silently meditated on what his father had told him and he was at ease with the situation now that he understood it. He figured his father wouldn't really have a problem with him falling for the daughter of his true love since the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Just off of their first meeting he could tell that he was very similar to his father in many ways but he still had quite a bit of maturing to do. The talk they had really opened his eyes to the world and to his own lifestyle and how he would now live his life. With that being established he realized that it didn't matter anymore, he could do as he pleased as long as he was willing to persevere throughout whatever trials and tribulations may come. So he thought to himself that if he were to run into Kalika again he would take her and make her his own.
He had spent many days and nights wanting and craving something and when those times arose his mind always seemed to gravitate towards the young woman. Sometimes he wondered if she thought of him the way he thought of her but he banished those thoughts rather quickly not wanting to let a negative thought rule his mind. He had slept with women hoping to satisfy his urges that he had gotten when he thought of the beautiful blonde and had even kicked some women out of his residence when they couldn't satisfy him. Some nights it pained him and others it soothed him to think of her, it was an odd feeling every time she crept into his consciousness, warm as a cool summer day and as cold as a harsh winter night.
Even so he never regretted the feelings he had nor did he loathe them it was simply difficult to cope. It hadn't stopped his progress in his work as he had completed all his missions efficiently and effectively wherever he went and his name was steadily growing. He had gained even more fame in the past four months than he had gained in a single year and he had grown a bit taller still keeping his slender yet ripped muscular frame. His hair was now almost an inch longer reaching just past the blades of his back and he had grown a bit of chin hair as well. He was pushing his body to the limits trying to keep her off his mind and that was the reason he had taken the break and went to speak with Ares, he needed to find an answer which he now fortunately had. His father had given him his blessing and that was more than enough to spur him into action.
Now all that was left was to search for the woman who dominated his thoughts but for now he would walk and relax for the moment. As he finally reached the beach he noticed a figure that seemed oddly familiar sitting on a rock near the edge of the water. He wondered if fate had truly brought them together as he continued to walk towards the water...
'Could it really be her?'

Kalika remained on the rock for sometime. Her chin resting on her knees as she watched the waves lap against the shore. She was thinking about the past few months. The young blonde had grown in certain ways. Her hair was indeed longer, and her chest had grown a bit larger to her own distaste. Her skin had tanned a bit from sun exposure, and her muscles lean. She wondered what Aris could be doing at this moment. Would he feel the way about her that she felt about him? If not that she would be quite disappointed and blame her mother for foul play against her emotions.
Shivered in the chill of the wind she continued to watch as a small crab waltzed up onto the shore. Then she grinned as the little crab skittered back into the water. Realizing he must have been frightened she pulled her knees down and turned to look and see if someone was behind her. Kalika's eyes grew wide and her mouth hung open slightly. 'Is that him?' she thought as she peered at him. She blinked several times to make sure she was not imaging things. "Ariston?" she asked him softly as he looked at her.

As he approached the edge of the water the woman turned to face him suddenly then called out his name. When his eyes met hers he immediately recognized her as Kalika and a soft smile unconsciously spanned across his face as he answered her question, "It's been a while, how have you been Kalika?" His voice was no different than it had been here before other than it carried a bit more authority to it than before. Changing his course to walk up to Kalika, he wanted to embrace her as it had burned him all these months leading up to this day but instead he stopped a few feet from her feeling that it wouldn't be appropriate to suddenly do such a thing.
As he looked over her she had changed some over the months, her breasts were larger which was a plus in his eyes and she had tanned which looked good on her. She was even more beautiful than she had been when they first met on that fateful day and her hair was even longer, he had a soft spot for nice long hair. He wanted to tell her that he had been suffering since they had went their separate ways that day but he was unsure of how to do it...

Seeing the smile on his face she could not help, but smile back. She then noticed her heart fluttering again like it had all those months ago. Her soul felt filled in his presence, but how could she express that to him? Kalika noticed his hair had grown longer of the time, and his body was even more toned. She also noticed he had grown, to her liking. The blonde was quite fond of tall boys. Turning around completely on the rock so she could face him she grinned.
"I have been well, and you?" She asked him softly. The breeze picked up again as her skin goose bumped. His voice was still gentle and rugged as it had been. Her hair danced as the breeze blew past them. Kalika wanted to express that she had missed him over their time apart, but she felt it was much too soon in their conversation to yet say so.

Much to his liking she still carried the same sweet tone she had when they had first met, it was quite alluring to the ears. "I have been... holding on," figuring there was no reason to lie to her he began his confession. He looked her deep in the eyes as he stretched his fingers in nervousness, "I... have been going through great pains during these past months since we separated at first I couldn't figure out why..." His voice was steady but he found it hard to maintain eye contact as his eyes sailed between the ground and her's, "I tried many things and suffered through nights of frustration," his voice carried into the wind. Aris looked out over the ocean for a moment before he finished, "Kalika I have been longing for you as a delinquent longs to be accepted, I wanted you... your body, your soul to be... to be mine."
As he spoke he looked at her with his hazel eyes radiating his passion and he walked up closer to her on the rock. His voice echoed of a powerful emotion guiding his words, body language and actions. The young warrior licked his lips before he said another word to her he needed to gather himself, "I guess in short, I missed you... and I want you at my side. I don't care what issues our respective cities may be facing... I need you to be with me..." As he finished he stared at her full luscious lips and he licked his own again but he refrained from his thoughts and brought his eyes back to hers and looked deep within them as if searching to see if she understood his words.

The blonde was surprised as his nervousness as well as his confession. Her lips parted as she looked at him. She sat on the rock looking up at the young man. Her throat dried as he said everything she had been feeling since they had been apart. It was the strangest thing she had ever experienced. Her eyes watched his as they darted around in nervousness. Kalika smiled when he finished his explanation. "You took the words right out of my mouth," she said softly looking up into his eyes. She watched as he licked his lips and lightly chewed on her own. How could it be that they were feeling the exact same way over the course of time? She had wanted to be his and wanted to be by his side though she knew at that time it was impossible to do. Now she wanted nothing more than to follow him forever.

As he moved closer to the woman he spread her legs gently and slowly so that he could get his body as close to hers as possible. Since she was up on a rock when their bodies met his chest rubbed against her breasts as he placed his right hand on her lower back pulling her towards him as he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. Aris kissed her gently at first letting his body slowly catch up to where his mind was taking it and as they kissed he maneuvered himself so that both of his hands were on her waistline only softly tugging at her. His muscles bulged as he restrained himself from using too much force at once from fear of hurting her but his kisses were becoming more wild and almost frantic. Even though they were not as gentle as before he still had control of them and they were well placed allowing him to wrap his tongue with hers on occasion as he expressed his longing for her.

Kalika shivered at his touch as she parted her legs allowing him to be close to her. Her cheeks lightly colored with blush as she felt his chest against her breasts. As he pulled her close she felt her hips against his as he kissed her softly. Her heart began running a marathon as she kissed him just as frantically as he had been. She had indeed missed him as much as he had missed her. The blonde's one hand rested softly on his neck gently grasping at his hair while the other one rested on his chest. It was strange to think this was only their second meeting, but the attraction was undeniable.

Aris could easily feel that she had been going through the same pain he suffered as they embraced each other. Her cool touch gave him goosebumps on his warm body but he paid no mind to it as they kissed. He separated their lips abruptly since he realized he hadn't took a breath in a long while. As he caught his breath he stared into the sky blue eyes of the woman he felt such a passion for, "I see you missed me Kalika," he joked teasingly.

She was surprised when he separated their lips, but realized she was quite out of breath. Before speaking she did her best to regain her normal breathing rate as she looked up into his eyes. Aris laughed lightly as she teased him in return and nodded in response, "I suppose I did." His breath seemed to be coming back slowly for a well trained and highly talented soldier or at least he thought but no matter how fast it came back it wouldn't be fast enough. As he looked at her he leaned in and gave her a series of soft kisses that went trailed from her lips to her neck and back up. His body was hot from the heat that was radiating between them and there was a bit of perspiration gathering on his chest even though there was a cool breeze flowing around them. He wondered to himself what Aphrodite or his mother thought right now as he figured they were watching. He contemplated giving them real show...

She smiled as he laughed with her and was somewhat surprised when he began kissing her again. Kalika gasped as he trailed his kisses down her neck and back up. Her one hand tangled in his hair as he kissed her skin. She could feel the sweat on his chest and shivered as she began to sweat a little. The blonde hoped her mother was not watching their romance... that would be quite awkward to explain. She pressed her lips roughly against his when his lips made it back up.

Realizing that this was not some random woman that he would have normally immediately have taken to bed, he wanted to take it slow with Kalika. She was worth more to him than a night's worth of pleasure, he felt he should get to know her better before they walked down that path. So he kissed her for a while longer before separating and backing away a few steps so not to temp his body anymore than it already was. He had just enough willpower to do that much. Sitting down to catch his breath he looked over the ocean and inhaled the smell of the sea as his body was leaking with sweat. Then turning to face the blonde Aris asked, "Kalika, what have you been doing these past few months?"

Kalika was surprised again when the young man separated their lips then went to sit away from her. Her eyes were lightly glazed over with lust as she looked to him. Then she shook her head realizing that love was much better than lust. Looking to him trying to catch his breath she smiled as a few beads of sweat rolled down her chest. She looked at him taking a large breath to regain her composure. "Well Corinth has kept me busy with jobs and tasks and such... just doing that sort of thing," she answered with a smile, "And you?"

Not turning to face her he nodded in response, "I see.." he hadn't completely caught his breath yet but it was controllable now. Thinking of his past excursions over the months he began, "I spent my time roaming battlefields during the day and sleeping with women while thinking of you at night." He laughed at the thought and hoped she wouldn't hate him for being truthful with her. Then looking at her with a smile on his face he resumed, "I took as many missions as possible to keep my mind off of you. I have been all over Greece and spent a great deal of my time in Thessaly fighting with sirens and Cyclops's that were rampant in that area for some reason." When he finished he looked back out to the sea and then he turned back to Kalika looking into her eyes, "This body of water reminds me of your eyes Kalika, both are beautiful." His melody of his voice carried with the wind that cooled their bodies, it was as majestic as it had been.

The blonde blushed when Aris mentioned he had thought of her at night... she had been doing the exact same thing. looking for a distraction to try and get the hansom man out of her mind. Then she giggled when he said he had been taking missions to keep her out of his mind. "Yeah, I tried that... my performance has suffered because of you," she teased him with a wink. It was true the usually passionate girl had suffered due to the lack of wholeness. The girl blushed again when he commented on her eyes. She was tempted to climb off of the rock and embrace him... but she remained. Her eyes just looked into his. "And your's remind me of honey... or maybe I'm just hungry," Kalika joked as she sat on the rock. Deciding she could use a hug she slipped off of the rock and knelt beside Ariston wrapping her arms around him. "I just need a hug," she whispered softly in his ear.

Aris laughed as she admitted she had been going through the same things as he except she hadn't had the same success that he had. He thought about all the carnage he had left on many battlefields and it was an intriguing thought though at the same time it was necessary to kill as much as he did. Of course he fought to preserve his own life but he slaughtered to make a check as well. When she mentioned his eyes reminded her of honey he chuckled a bit at the analogy, "I like that, honey sounds good right now too." He ran his hand over his chiseled abs expecting a rumble from his stomach but it didn't agree with him at the moment. Aris watched with anticipation as Kalika slid from the rock and came over next to him for a hug, and as she wrapped her arms around him he fell to his back causing her to end up on top of him. He wrapped his arms around her mid back area not wanting to disrespect her in any way and then he placed a hand on her head and brought her ear to his chest, "Can you tell me what you hear?"

A small gasp escaped her lips when he fell onto his back with her in his arms. She giggled at his response to her statement about honey... though she was not hungry herself. Then she was surprised when he pressed her head to his chest where she felt his heart thumping against her ear. Her arms remained around him as she listening to it's soothing pulse. "Your heart," she answered quietly, "Sounds rather healthy." Kalika chuckled at the last part hoping he would be healthy.

Aris laughed lightly as she mentioned that his heartbeat sounded healthy, "I'm as healthy as can be... as long as you're here," he said softly with a deep majestic tone. The warrior laid there with Kalika's head to his chest as he stared up to into the midday sky, for some reason one of the clouds looked like a face that seemed familiar. The thought brought a smile to his face though he didn't mind if it was who he thought it was. Running his fingers through the hair of the blonde for a moment he placed his free hand under the back of his head and closed his hazel eyes, it had been a while since he was able to find this kind of peace... he was thankful for it.

The female giggled when he said he would be healthy as long as she was there. She hoped they wouldn't have to be apart again. Her fingers traced lightly across his chest as she laid on him. Kalika nuzzled against his chest and lightly let out a soft sigh. She hadn't felt whole in so long she forgot how nice it felt. The blonde inhaled and exhaled softly as she laid on him her fingers drawing on his chest. "This is so nice," she said airily. Her body felt so at peace with him.
