((I really don't know how I'm going to make this work... :sweat:))

After lying on the warm sand of the beach for a while Aris had drifted off into a light slumber. He dreamt of the two of them living and relying on one another for comfort as they seemed to already be doing. The dream made him wonder when he awoke from his nap, although he didn't open his eyes for a time. When his body finally decided it was ready to move he raised his eyelids and looked directly up into the afternoon sky. It seemed he had rested for a while longer than he had anticipated though the fact didn't bother him in the least bit. He watched for a few moments as some clouds passed over then he got an idea, he would travel with Kal (yeah I just gave you a nickname lol) from now on no matter the situation. This was what he wanted after all right? He wanted to be able to be with her free of persecution more than anything but that was unlikely to happen but he was no stranger to fighting for what he wanted or believed in so it was a good idea to him...

{nickname's work for me}

The young blonde had snuggled gently into Aris's chest. She breathed gently as she had fallen into a light sleep. Kalika did not dream any dreams in her light sleep. She woke up after a short sleep. Her eyes fluttered open as the sunlight blinded her opening eyes. She quickly sat up on top of Ariston and looked to him. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep!" The demigod apologized quickly as she rolled off of him. She was worried she had halted where ever he was going. Kalika looked down at him with worry on her face.

Aris just smiled at the flustered girl, "You're fine, I fell asleep myself and just woke up," he said softly with a voice deeper than usual. Then he took a deep breath to gather himself for his next words, "Kalika, I think we should travel together, I that it's going to be a difficult process by doing so but it's what I want. How do you feel about the idea?" Aris's hazel eyes had a soft look to them in stark contrast to his usual dark stare, although he had not managed to show that face to her.

Kalika shivered at the deep tone of his voice raising the small bumps on her skin again. Her mouth hung slack as he asked her to join him... and go... together. His eyes showed softness as her heart fluttered as though she were running from Hades himself. She smiled softly realizing they wouldn't have to be apart anymore. "I would like that very much Ariston," she answered quietly with a smile. Leaning down she softly pressed her lips again his.

Aris smiled when she agreed to his idea and received her kiss happily. When their lips finally parted, in a soft tone, he said, "I thought I asked you to call me Aris? Ariston is too formal for me..." He teased her jokingly then kissed her in short increments for a few more seconds as he laid on the warm sand of the beach.

The blonde giggled as he corrected her for calling him Ariston. "My mistake," she grinned, "But since I call you Aris.... you can call me Kal." Kalika accepted his kisses finding herself wanting more. She laid down on the warm sand beside him gently kissing his cheek. "Well, what should we do now?" She asked him with a beaming smile on her face.

Aris smiled back at the beautiful blue eyed blonde, "Alright, Kal it is." The young man got goosebumps from the extra kisses she gave him and it tempted his body to take more but he fought the temptation since he wanted to wait. Then in response to her question he said, "Well I think we can afford to relax a few more days but then I was thinking we should probably travel north or to the islands to look for work. Both are areas I have did little to no work in so I'm sure they have not heard too much about me as of yet." As he finished he sat up he used his unnatural strength to maneuver the woman so that she across his lap and he could lean back with his arms extended as support, "What do you think Kal?"

She smiled softly when he called her Kal... he would be the only one to ever call her that. Kalika nodded in agreement. "I'm not that famous, so we'll have no worries with me. But the islands sound like fun. I've never been up there," she giggled. The blonde laid more kisses on his lips as she sat on his lap. She felt so at peace just relaxing here with Aris. Kal laughed an airy laugh and tapped his lips with her fingers. "I always wanted to date a celebrity," she teased. She hoped he hadn't minded her use of the word "date." Of course she couldn't assume that they were together they were still just getting to know each other.

Ariston nodded to acknowledge that he understood, "Then we will travel to the islands to look for work first and see what lies in store for us there." He wondered what would happen to them it would be an interesting trip. As she tapped on his lips he caught her finger and bit it playfully making agressive dog sounds with it in his mouth for a few seconds. When he let it go he smiled nonchalantly then replied to the woman, "I don't consider myself a celebrity yet but there's nothing wrong with that," he chuckled lightly. He didn't mind saying that they were dating since they might as well be due to the way they act around each other.

Kalika nodded and smiled when he said they would go to the islands. It would be nice there. She giggled as he chewed on her finger making the growling noises. The blonde laughed as he let go of her finger. "Well, I think you're a celebrity... maybe now you're more of a puppy," she answered softly. Laying her head on his shoulder she nuzzled into his skin. She purred softly mocking his playful dog noises. "Do we have to leave yet?" she questioned. Kalika was enjoying the sunshine as well as laying on the shore.

Aris blew off the tease, "I may be a puppy to you but I'm a beast to all of my enemies," he said in a playful tone. As she nuzzled into his chest making the purring noises the demi-god stroked her hair as you would a cat's back, "Two can play that game..." Then thinking about her question he wanted to spend a bit more time with her before they set out, "No we can rest for a few more days, I've been travelling and fighting non-stop so this will be a well needed change of pace." He sounded thoroughly convinced that the rest would be beneficial for him at least and he was sure the same applied to her so they could wait a few days before they set out.

{haha it's okay. I understand. I've been trying to do a world music assignment for oh days now haha.
what chem are you in?}

The blonde grinned at him as he retorted to her tease. "Well, then I'm glad I'm on your side," she winked at him. She giggled as he stroked her head. Her purr grew in loudness as she rubbed her cheek against his shoulder... acting overly cat like. "Pretty sure when enemies see me, they're like... what is this!? Then I surprise them and get 'um good," she explain with a {somewhat} fierce hissing sound at the end. Kalika couldn't help but laugh at herself after that. What was this man doing to her? In the past few months she hardly cracked a smile... a real smile and here she was acting like a cat. Once she heard him say they would stay she smiled up at him. She wrapped her arms around his stomach and squeezed him then rested her head on his shoulder ceasing her cat act. "That sounds good to me. I don't feel like moving anywhere yet... Laying here with you is just so... perfect," she explained quietly. Softly she kissed his shoulder then looked up into his eyes with a soft smile, feeling as thought she could stare into his eyes forever.

(Chem I unfortunately lol)

The hazel eyed warrior just smiled when she said she was happy she was no enemy. In response to her cattiness (yes i just made up a random word lol) Aris replied, "Oh, I'm sure you really suprise them... real umm... good!" As he finished he could no longer hold back his laughter and he laughed with Kal for a few moments. It had been some time since he had been this happy. He meets this beautiful blonde and all of a sudden he cannot function without her, what was this feeling? He still thought that one of the Gods had something to do with this, it just wasn't logical to him, but for the moment he wouldn't complain. He nodded in agreement when she explained how sitting together was perfect for her right now as he felt the same way at the moment. After laying a kiss on his shoulder Aris looked down at Kal as her sky blue eyes met his honey hazel one's and he stared back at her with an unfamiliar look for him.

{haha same here! i have it at 8:00am mwf. it stinks}

She made a slightly pouty face at Aris when he commented on surprising her enemies. "You don't think I surprise anybody do you?" His laughter brought a wide smile to his face. The hansom tan man had always seemed so serious, and was glad when he laughed. He made her feel so light and happy. When she saw him nod Kailika couldn't help but blush. She was glad that they were happy here together. As she stared into his honey eyes she couldn't help, but feel lost. With out actually meaning to she leaned towards him and pressed her lips softly against his.

(I have it 10:00 MWF and yes it does suck)

When she asked about him about whether or not he thought she surprised people he answered with a shrug and sarcastic tone, "Maybe... maybe not." This woman had an odd ability to make him feel at ease that nobody else seemed to be able to do, she was special to him. He liked that he was able to relax around someone in their world full of turmoil, it was a much needed change of pace. As he stared into her eyes he began to think of a paradise with her and them raising a family free of the burdens of this world, then he snapped out of the daydream when his lips had met hers. He kissed her back without hesitation for a few short seconds then parted lips with her, "It's getting late we should find somewhere to stay." It had indeed gotten late, they had been there since the midday and now the sun was about to set on the horizon. It was beautiful with the different shades of red, yellow, orange and purple. It looked like something that needed to be cherished for all it's natural beauty, much like Kalika.

{ugh. i submitted a reply to this, but it didn't work. sorry for making you wait.}

The blonde stuck her tongue out at him as he said she may not surprise people. It was nice that she had her playful nice self back. Honestly she had been scaring herself with the side she had been showing to everyone. The dark and emotionless little blonde. She sighed when he said they had to go, but realized they would still be together. Kalika kissed him softly one last time then stood up off of the sand. Looking at her body tiny little grains of sand stuck to her skin. Softly she bent down and began brushing them off her skin. "Where can we stay?" She questioned as she continued to remove the little gritty pieces from her body. Then gazing out across the waters she smiled at the alluring sunset... warm like Ariston's eyes.

(You good lil mama)

Ariston stood up and attempted to wipe as much of the sand from his frame as possible. Thinking on the subject of where to stay he figured that it would be a bad idea to return to either of their home cities even with the ceasefire. "Hmm... I think it would be best to stay at a tavern in a city nearby, we should avoid as much conflict as possible for now. Do you have any preferences or suggestions?" Despite being an immensely powerful fighter Aris was also a highly intellegent man despite what many may think of him. He was still a bit hot headed but he was slowly trying to break the habit.

Kalika stood there pondering. How far was her home from here? They could always stay there. Crossing her arms she looked over to him with a smile. Then she realized he was the enemy and her smile faded. "No, I don't have any ideas," she answered softly. The blonde gently walked over to him and laced her fingers with his. "I'll follow your lead, hun," she grinned at him. Goosebumps rose on her skin as the evening air began to cool the beach as she shivered a bit.

The young man had a bright smile on his face as she said she would follow his lead and then he looked to the east, "Then we should head to Aigosthena, it's only a few miles from here I believe." With her soft hand interlocked with his strong yet delicate one he began to lead her in the direction of their destination. As they walked through the woods he began to think, "Have you ever been in a serious relationship?" It was none of his business and if she chose not to answer the question he wouldn't pry but he was simply curious.

As she had said she followed his lead as they headed for Aigosthena. She grinned as she walked beside him. His hand felt warm against her cool hand. She noticed the rough texture of his skin as well. Her blue eyes looked to him as he asked her about serious relationships. "Kind of sort of. I've never really been this attracted to a male before... but I had hung around with the same guy for awhile... how about you?" The blonde answered gently a soft blush coloring her cheeks.She had always floated between guys not finding that key connection. Kalika wasn't unfaithful she just had a hard time staying with guys for overly long periods of time before those beginning butterflies faded. Then she would of course usually end it. She had stayed with one guy for quite awhile though before she decided it wouldn't work... they hung around each other for months, and then one day she just felt exhausted from him.

Aris never turned to look at Kalika as she answered his question then asked the same to him, he simply nodded to acknowledge that he heard her and understood. Then he pretended to think about it for a moment though there was nothing to think about really, "No... I've never kept a woman around longer than a day or two because it's usually just lust with me. I... I hadn't really thought of searching for any specific connection with women as they all seemed to be the same around me, shallow and lustful... but most of their beauty was skin deep and that wasn't something I wanted to keep around me." His tone was a bit detached when speaking about the women he slept with in his past as he really seemed not to have any sort of lingering connection to any of them. The hazel eyed soldier hated women like that but he was not above laying with them to relieve the stress that he always kept pint up inside but that was all that it had been. They were used then discarded like the worthless pieces of trash that they were.

(Strong words at the end there lol)

{quite strong haha}

When the blonde heard his answer it worried her a bit. Could she be just another object of his lust? A toy to be used for his satisfaction? The thought was easily pushed from her mind seeing that he had not tried to get that close to her yet. Then she even admitted to herself. She had shared a bed with men with that being her only intention. Kalika had many men falling for her, but it was because of her extraordinary beauty... nothing more, nothing less. She somewhat understood how he felt. Many times the men just wanted her as a sort of trophy... as though she was a prize. She feared those men for they were very cunning. At times their sweet words almost confused the blue eyed girl, but she always seemed to come to her sense. Seeing the city in sight she smiled to Aris. "Thank goodness. I was getting somewhat hungry," she laughed softly.
