It's true I don't like cats. But that doesn't mean they aren't cute and strokable when they are little puffy balls of fur, BEFORE they grow up and become independent assholes

Speaking of cats, I just saw a show about a lady that horded a ton of cats and when they finally cleaned out her house to get her back on track they found a bunch of dead smushed kittens :( It was sad.

I saw one like that too.
It's so sad. They were like scraping dead cats out of the garage.

That's horrible! :(
I saved a litter of kittens. She gave birth to them underneath a lawn mowing tractor and my mom was gonna mow the grass when I heard meows.

Estrella - But at least it had a pretty happy ending where all the rest of the cats went off to the humane society (I can never spell that damn word..) and she got to keep her favorite one!

Neller - Whew! That was a good save! Was it your cat that had the babies or just a stray?

She shouldn't have been allowed to keep any of them, if you ask me.

It was a stray who became our cat after that. She was a loving cat and needed shelter to give birth to her kittens.

I would get a cat if I could.
Mostly because they're independent most of the time.
Give 'em to food to eat and a place to shit and they're good.

Estrella - Lovely wording there

Neller - Thats nice! There's a stray that wonders around here so I feed it and I tried to make a little shelter out of haybales for him (her?) do sleep.

Yeah. Sadly, her kittens were sick...out of 6, only one survives today. We had to put one down recently because it got a cold and couldn't breath or eat or drink. It was sad.

I know a girl who once did something real stupid with kittens. The mamma cat had fleas so of course it go the babies too. The babies were really small but she decided to give them a flea bath [before their eyes were even open]. They all died. Then the mamma cat ate them. :\

I know. I try to avoid things like that. My mom always suggests giving our cats medicines meant for humans. I just think "Would you give us cat medicine?"

Actually, some things are okay to give to animals.
But I'd do some research first and not just give it to them without thinking.
