I have a love/hate relationship with cake.

I'm very picky about the cake I eat. I really hate frosting unless it's the whipped kind, but even then sometimes I get sick of it. So what I usually do (that makes it taste better) is mash the cake all up. It looks weird/gross, but it makes it taste better. xD

My favorite cake would have to be chocolate or something with strawberry.
I also really like cheesecake. 8D

I like homemade chocolate cakes they are the best ^_^, but since I dont live with my mom its a rare occasion i get to eat any of her homemade treats so I just have to settle for the store bought mixes or premade cakes but chocolate is by far my favorite, and I dont like too much frosting on it either it overpowers the flavor of the cake so i scrape most of the frosting off or I substitute frosting with pudding ^_^

Red Velvet with cream cheese icing.

I can eat cream cheese icing with a spoon, it's sooo good you don't even need the cake! I like buttercream too.

Strawberry cake with strawberry icing is gooood. I don't like too much or too little icing, has to be the right amount. I :heart: cake.

I have to agree with this one. I can't stand eating anything too sweet, especially the frosting. Which is also the reason why I don't eat chocolate that often (unless it's Hershey Creme pie... Mmmm... Pie) and I basically only eat Japanese sweets. They're never super sweet.

But if I have to chose... I'd go with a Japanese Strawberry Sponge Cake... Mmm...

I so love cake! I love yellow cake with fudge frosting, applesauce cake, lemon cake, pound cake. My absolute favorite is spice cake with home-made frosting.

Anything with an orange hint of flavouring, or creme incorperated somehow. I'm a complete sucker for anything orangy. Or lemon, i really like in a cake too.

Well, I wasn't thinking about cake until I saw this thread title, but...XD Now I could really go for some chocolate cake. X3

Generally, I don't like sweet things. Unnaturally sweet things, at least - I hate the taste of processed cane sugar and corn syrup and stuff like that. But I love chocolate and for some reason, I love cake. X3 So chocolate cake is just...something amazing. |D

I especially love multi-layer chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling with chocolate chips in it. I make that for special occasions. Thinking about it makes me wish I had something to celebrate coming up...:drool:
