I'm unconcerned about the store items. It's the rares I want....

I have all the rares. I always make sure I have enough (or just about enough) to get each one as soon as it comes out.

I would do that too, but I was quite late to the event.

Ah, I check Mene at least once a day, so that I am generally appraised of when an event is coming up, and when it does, I dive in, and am on as much as I can be.

They did. I checked it in the FAQ and it's been raised. So there's a nice little bonus now as the event winds down. I should be able to get three full sets. That's kind of dinky considering I tend to get like ten at least, but as I said, I've been lazy XD And what do I need with ten sets anyway? It's not like I sell them.

I would love to have ten sets....

I only ever go for one set, because I don't have a store, and you can only use one set at a time anyway :P

Well, I spend all my event currency on event items and I use gold in the event shops. I rarely use event currency in the shop, so I can get loads more event items. This time I'm not buying much from the shops either though ^_^;

I do that as well Suona. I might be able to get mutiple sets this time since they've raised the hearts yield.

I have never used my gold in the event shops (though I might this time around.) I am getting all this time sensitive currency, I figure I might as well use it up in diverse ways, and save the gold for the numerous items in the regular stores that I don't yet have.

I save up gold for events, because its better to buy as many as I want while they're all on sale
Then I hoard lots of EI's and can sell them for more way further on

And it really varies with the event. As time progresses, I seem to be more and more busy during events, and getting less and less. :< For my very first even there, which was winter '08, I had over 25 sets, I think. But those were also very easy to get, I believe.

My first few events, I didn't realize people liked to buy in sets, so I just got multiples of what I thought was pretty and struck my fancy. Now I get more sets, but still loose items here and there. And I do save up for events. I just never seem to sell the EIs I have hoarded up though.

I blew about 15k in the shops on the last event >_> So far, I've only bought two things from the event shop this time around.

I don't know how much I'll be buying from the shops this time around. I wish they would extend the event, or make the gold earning on the games higher, or something...
