I would be a mite traumatized, too. >.< Though I don't have my lisence yet. It's expensive to get out here and they want three things that prove my address and you know what? I don't have three things that prove my address because they don't accept pay stubs or W2s as viable forms of proof of address! How fucked up is that?! *anger*

That's odd. o.O
I don't have a license either actually. I'm still driving on my permit. xD

Bah, I want to join the 21+ hangout but I won't be 21 until March 3rd.

Mine is a male black ball of L.A.Z.Y.
But we named him that because he seemed to like getting into trouble when he was a kitten. He was constantly getting himself trapped in the one bedroom closet, or somehow stuck underneath the bathroom sink, or otherwise being the cause of mischief.
Now all he does is lay around and meow for food.

You're getting there. :) I would make you an honorary 21 year old but I don't have that kind of power at that thread plus, there is nothing one can really do to help someone turn 21 faster. Hahaha.

...I admit: My 21st year of life was insane and vanished in a drunken haze. I came in to work hung over and sometimes still drunk for almost the entire year.

Hi Connie. :)

I sent a PM to the person who made the thread asking if it would be okay to hang out in there since my birthday's not that far away.

But if they rather wait till I am 21, then I'll wait. =P It's about two weeks away.

I don't think I'll ever drink even when I am old enough. I've tried sips from different alcohol brands, both beer and wine. My parents always told me they didn't mind if I had a little bit with them when we'd sit outside at night sometimes and just talk. But I just ended up making silly faces at the tastes and just stay away from alcohol altogether now.

I probably would have done the same thing if my room mates at the time didn't bother me so hard core. At first they were great but then I was the only one ever cleaning the apartment and even though I told them what my life was like, they still decided that they didn't approve. Smelly hippies, they were...No joke. They only bathed once a week! *cries*

Since I didn't want to deal with them on a fully functioning level and was never a fan of any illegal substance, I went with the next best thing. :D Since that year though, I have settled down my drinking a lot.

I would've told them some nasty things they could go do to themselves if they tried to pressure me into drinking, lol.

If they don't like the way I run my life, they can go hang out with someone else. xD

I never hung out with them, though. I am a very anti social person! They knew that I am not the kind of person to come to parties and like...meet new people.

Every day though: Blah blah blah! You never come out of your room! Why are you always up so late? Who is the guy you brought home last night? (for the record, while living there for a year and a half, I only ever had three guys over) Arrrg...I get angry just thinking about it...It was just easier to deal with them when I wasn't sober.

I still would've told them to go away and give my suggestions they could go to themselves. xD
I don't fall to peer pressure so easily.

It wasn't peer pressure. It was all me. It doesn't bother me, either. My 21st year was fun. I had never had that much fun in my life before.

When we were in High School, my sister was the risk taker, not me. I was the straight A student. I didn't have a boyfriend til I was 14 and my family still trips out when I say I am going out with friends. It used to piss me off but now I think it's just funny. Even a weirdo like me can have friends. :P

D'aaaawe. That's actually really cool. I honestly have little self control when I am single and see an attractive man. :/ I at least get to know the dude first. Still, I admire you for that.

Haha, a lot of people around me think it's crazy that I've never dated before.
I just haven't met a guy I'm interested in plus the whole wanting to do well in school. xD

Most people only think that either because they could never do it themselves (me) or they just don't understand why one would be that way.

If you do stumble across someone you are interested in though and they actually care about your well being then they will understand that you have school work to do. Sadly though, there are a lot of jerks in the world. I caught me one of the good ones and I don't plan on ever letting him go.

Yeah. xD I hope I find the right guy sooner or later once I'm ready for a relationship. I doubt I'll find him right away but some day.

What annoys me a lot right now because of the fact I'm a tomboy so a lot of my friends are guys, that a lot of the girls at my college assume I'm flirting or dating one of the guys just because I hang out and goof around with them. Lol, sorry no. I'm one of the guys and that's how I act. =P

I am the same way. My boyfriend once said "One of the things I like about you is that it's like hanging out with one of the guys except that you're a girl and you're pretty." Something to that affect anyhow. Being a tomboy really just means that you meet cooler guys than other girls do and form better relationships with them.

I find that most girls though do have their girly weaknesses. For example: I only ever buy my bras at Victoria's Secret, I dye my hair (green, sure but I still dye it) and generally take very good care of my hair, and I also love to smell good using body spalshes from Bath and Body Works or Vic's. But I don't wear make up, I don't get drink off of wine coolers *cough cough* My sister *cough cough* and I can count how many times I have worn a dress on one hand. Plus, I can't walk in heels to save my life.

Oh there is totally girlness in us even if we're tomboys. xD
The pants I get from Wal*Mart have little butterfly sparkly designs on them, but I love these pants because they're baggy at the ends around the ankles. I love those kind of pants so much.

I don't wear skirts or dresses unless it's a special occasion nor do I wear make up.
And oh god, I hate high heels so much. I don't know how women around me can stand wearing them.

There's also the reactions women have that's still in tomboys, just for different things.
You know those "OH MY GOD, HE WENT TO JARED!!!" commercials? I don't like or wear a lot of jewelry, but that reaction is still inside me. It comes out more like, "OH MY GOD, HE WENT TO GAMESTOP!!!"

I just slept for 1 or 2 hours and what are we talking about ????.
Tomboy - I don't know I... I try to be a tomboy but only my friend (1 guy I meet at my extra class) understands me - just 10% abt me !!! :) :mail:) and the other guys I studied with said that I'm aggressive girl T_T.Maybe I went wrong way T_T.
People do have secrets, male or female.I hide my secret - Asian ppl likes hiding their secrets,I'm not sure if that changes now but all my friends do,even my straightforward friends at my main school or extra class still hide their secrets

@ Sora: Lol. You should have seen me when my BF got me Little Big Planet. I freaked out all my coworkers. also, sorry it took so long to get back to you. He said no more typing til he's asleep so I crocheted a little bit and now am typing kinda slow so i don't wake him up.

@ Lia: Still love your name. We tomboys are a hard breed to understand. I think that because we walk the line, we sit between both worlds a little bit so there are more ins and outs to get to know.

Haha, I freaked out this Christmas when I got a brand new all-in-one printer. I was so happy cause my last one wouldn't work for some reason. It just suddenly stopped working and claimed there was always something printing and I couldn't print anything.

Oooh nice. =D

I'm hoping to save up my money and buy a new laptop. The one I have now is broken. When you turn it on, the screen turns all fuzzy and mixed with white, grey, etc. Even has weird multi-colored lines going down the side of the screen. You smack it and the screen suddenly looks normal for a second before it started to turn again. Though sometimes you can get it to work, but I think it's time I got a new laptop.

And then after that I'm going after a Canon Rebel XS camera.

 That's a nice camera!!

Maybe something is wrong with the wiring from the mobo to the monitor. You would always take it apart and see what is wrong. Panda used to have a laptop and it broke some how...I dun remember how. He took it apart and soldered the part that was busted. It stayed fix for a while. Once it broke again, we took a trip down to CA to get his real computer. My computer is a beast (he built it for me) but his beast begot my beast...
