It's just the stuffyness. I get head colds and if I don't take care of it I'll lose my voice. And then get a chest cold.. etc...

Yeah, for me I notice it starts when my throat gets really dry at night, and if I don't drink water in the middle of the night when I notice, I end up with a 3-week cold starting the next morning. But like I was saying - have you tried steam inhalation before? You could try that with your sudafed, I've found it really helps unclog everything. It's sort of a home-remedy, the alternative to taking a hot shower except that you don't have to take the shower ;)
