I'm just trying to find someone to chat with, as it's rather quiet this morning and I'm short hearts for today's item! :o

How are you? How was your Valentine's Day?

Surprisingly, it was really good. You have to remember though I wasn't expecting anything. We argued over what we were going to do as well, but Aaron said all he really wanted to do was to put emphasis on us spending time together as it was our first Vday married.

We ended up dropping the kids off with their mom, then stopped at the gas station got something to drink and a snack and we sat and talked it through on the way home. We decided on dorking around Walmart to find something to do and pick up a couple other items we needed. We found the Austin Powers trilogy for only $12, so we got that and went to Wendy's and got dinner. We then got ready for bed, and while I was in the other room he put his present underneath my pillow. I came to lie down and start the movie and nearly put my head down right on it. He ended up grabbing it and putting it in front of me and said "It's not much, but I didn't forget!". It was a box of Reese's Peanut Butter cups, a pack of highlighters I really wanted, and a really sweet card. I was so touched! We sat and cuddled and said a bunch of sweet nothings then fell asleep to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. :)
