I do not understand how the posting rules work. {I'm a slow learner...:(}

What do they mean by "double posting"?
When do I edit posts? Every time the conversation goes on to another page?

Please give me an example conversation of the "Do's and Don'ts" in a thread.

Thank you.

Edit: How do I subscribe to a thread?

Well a description of posting rules can be found in the official FAQ/Rules page over here: Menewsha Avatar Community - FAQ: Menewsha Site Rules

Double-posting means you made two (or more) posts directly following each other. So in other words, to cut down on spam we ask that people wait until someone else replies before they make a new post. If no one has posted in 5 hours, you can make a reply as long as it's on-topic. :yes:

If you really need to add more information to your post, just hit the "Edit" button, and you can add information without needing to post a new reply.

Does that answer your question? :)

EDIT: Well, it looks like you know how to edit, so you're already doing good! :D There are several ways to subscribe to threads. This post explains them in detail: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/main/i...ml#post3011644

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS!
I was totally lost this whole time.

Also, how do I subscribe to a thread? I can't find any button that lets me do that.
I hope I'm not bothering you... :/

Muchos gracias! You links helped me a lot.

Not at all, that's what the forum is for! :) It's much better to ask questions than be confused.

I made an edit to my post linking to a guide for subscribing. There are several settings you can use, but the simplest way to subscribe is to hit the "Subscribe to this Thread" button which you can find under the "Thread Tools" tab at the top of the post.

You can also set your account up to auto subscribe to any thread you post in. It's under 'edit options' when you click 'my account'.
