Aw, thats really sad. D:
I think earrings are like part of me, thats why my body accepts them. XD My left earring hole wanst shot very well, though, so it sometimes hurts and bleeds and stuff, but it always heals and then I am all happy again.
There are few earrings that do irritate my ear a lot, thoguh. ><
And my mother, who sued to be able to wear all earrings, too, now can only wear her purely silver pair, or else her ears burn like about to fall off.

I can wear only natural ones, I can't wear any made of plastic. If I do wear those made form plastic, my ears really hurt. That's also what my cousin has.

Sadrain, my friend has over 100 pairs of earrings. Most of them are made from plastic, but I'm still a little jealous - I have only few pairs ^^

I've grown to love necklaces and bangles more. I don't mind not having earrings because my ears stick out and I don't think it looks nice, so the less attention there, the better, for me. I love really big necklaces though, especially ones that have that marbled stone look. Looooove. :)

My neckalces always tangle up when I store them, all rings and bracelets are too big for me, so I stick to earrings mostly. XD And, oh, they are gorgeous.
But to each tehir own, I think~ I am jsut earring person.
In fact, one of my first childhood memories was of watchign Danielle Stewl book ecranization where a woman had epic crystal earrings in ball and my thought was "I want to have earrings like that when I grow up!!! D:"
And while they might not be from real crystal, I do have evry similar ones now. <3
