I am here! Well, I wasn't. But now I am! For the time being! It's early and I might try to go back to bed lol

Anyway, I was recently in the hospital for a watermelon sized tumor they found on my ovary (I don't know how long I had it - I didn't go to the doctor until I started having pain.) so I've got a massive foot long incision on my tummy. I did get the rest of my staples out on Wednesday (And right now, there's a bunch of tape on it, and my doctor is all ''Leave it on for a week'' and I'm just like ''lol this isn't going to last a week'' since it's already peeling, but what evs.

I'm really glad your thing wasn't cancer, Xandriana. I'm still waiting on the test results from mine. Originally, I heard that it WAS malignant, that was right after surgery, but now apparently we don't actually know, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I have a damn lot of hair D<

Anyway, Faux, I was in yesterday for back pain. I woke up and it was bad, then it got better, then I was screaming. For a minute, I couldn't get a hold of my mom, so I actually called an ambulance, then she called me back, so I had that canceled (THANK GOD!)

They did some tests on me, but all they could come up with was that I had fluid around my gallbladder, which they said could either be normal - from surgery - and go away on its own, or I could have something wrong with it.

They wanted me to stay, in case there WAS something wrong with it, but I really don't like staying in the hospital, so my mom and I decided to just take me home and hope for the best.

I almost always do Mountain Due and Captain Morgan Parrot Bay. If I end up mixing chocolate and alcohol I use flavored alcohol stuff like French Kiss.

I'm not usually a very big drinker. I've only had... well, now, three drinks since my birthday.

But I got reallyyy drunk on my birthday. And that was the end of that. lol

Actually I have been REALLY wanting a drink - but being on a billion different meds, I'm just afraid of what will happen.

I tried this wonderful sparkling sake and I've been CRAVING it!

I can't get drunk this weekend. I live with teetotalers.

That and boze so does not mix with cold medicine.

Hello again everyone! Just read what happened to you, Squid. Sorry to hear about you having to have that surgery. I hope it all turns out alright. Also hoping you're still feeling better and not having that back pain again.

It looks like the conversation was about drinking and medicine when I came in :)! That could definitely make for interesting discussion.

I don't remember the last time I took something, because i have a total fear of doctors and medications. I don't even take an Advil when i have a migraine

I don't like taking medicine either, and only take them if I have to. All except for Goody headache powders. I'm practically addicted to those things for my headaches.

That's like my sister, but I can't even force myself to take anything at all besides daily dietary supplements (the gummy kind XD )

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I think as a people, "we" tend to over medicate and take things far more often than we should or need to. I don't, but again, "we" as a people do. On the other hand, a person who complains and whines a lot when they don't feel good yet won't take anything is annoying as hell. If you're gonna refuse to take something to help yourself, then don't be a crybaby about it. I don't mean you can't say you don't feel good or have a pain or something, I mean the ones who go on and on about it.
