Oh my gosh. I LOATHE the sound of a straw scraping against a pop can. UGH. Just thinking about it makes my ears BURN.

And when people scrape their silverware on their teeth. *shudders*

Meh... I can't think of any sound that particularly bothers me. I'm pretty good at tuning stuff out when I don't want to hear it, be it a loved one nagging me or fingernails on a chalkboard. ^__^;

The only time a sound would freak me out is if it is on out-of-place sound that I can't identify; something that could possibly signify a danger. Like the sound of the foundation of your house crumbling beneath you. Yeah... that's a sound I'll never forget.

Baby humans. Rap/hip-hop. Blue grass country. Valley-girl-idiot voices. A shovel blade scraping against a rock. Metal scraping against metal. Train screeches. Fire alarms. Squeaky car breaks.
I think that's about it.

Paper scratching on paper. Ya know those paper rolls people use to blend? They drive me absolutely insane. I've forced myself to use them on a couple occasions, but it's just not worth it. It's not just the noise, too. The whole feel of it. Everything about it makes me cringe. After my cross-hatching project, I may try to find ways to incorporate that instead. So much less painful.

For as long as I can remember my little brother has had the most abnoxious laugh in the world. It's not so much the fact that he sounds like a donkey, though that is very annoying, but the fact that it sounds so fake that I wonder why he even bothers to make that horrible sound if he has a choice. Also, I really don't like the sound of cartoon noises. They disturb me for some reason. One in particular is used in a Rammstein song but you can hardly hear it over the instruments. There are times when the sound of someone chewing bothers me but usually I don't notice it.

Funny this thread should pop up. My 9 month old nephew who I keep every day has just decided to start Grinding his brand new teeth together..... oh I could just DIE!! And alarm clocks make me want to go homicidal. The beeping ones aren't so bad but the blaring reeeeek reeeeeek reeeeek ones drive me to hurt things. Also.. the sound of Styrofoam rubbing against Styrofoam or cardboard is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Oh my! I remember when I thought it would be fun to grind my teeth. lol just tried doing it now......WHAT on EARTH was I thinking?? It's a horrible feeling. I used to get yelled at all the time for it, too. Thank goodness. XD

I can 't stand the noise when the fork or knife go "screeeech" against the plate when I try to cut my food. It really bothers me that it makes my flesh creep and what I hate about it is that it happens almost everyday when I eat.
Another sound I hate is the sound of the TV when it is on high volume. You might think I am weird but I can 't help hearing some kind of buzzing from it (I don 't know but I somehow hear it). And I still hate how I have to deal with it everyday since my mom always has the TV on high volume. X~X

I really, really hate the sound of my computer "processing" a CD when there's nothing in the CD drive.
Or I really hate the sounds that my door makes when I hit the wall and it's closed. It's like BA-BUMP! It's so SCARY at night!

I cant stand when people are eating and smacking with their mouth open. the sound is just so gross and annoying.

I fucking hate that high pitched noise the TV makes when you leave it running. I don't understand HOW people can leave the TV on with nothing playing; that noise is just horrible.

Also, that noise it makes when silverware scrapes against plates or pots or whatever.

I hate hate hate the sound of people chewing gum, biting their nails, animals licking. It really drives me up a wall, puts me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. I also hate any repetitive noises.

I cannot stand the sound of someone eating or chewing.

It's like the worse thing ever.

Just like my sister is smacking her gum rather loudly next to me.

Whistling is the sound I cannot stand. I don't whistle myself, and even when I did those few times back when I was a kid, I didn't like the sound. There is no such things as a good whistler. Even if they were 'brilliant' at it, I wouldn't notice because the sound is still awful.

I hate when people chew with their mouths open, especially when they feel the need to smack their lips when they do it. Drives me up a wall. Similarly, chewing gum drives me insane as well. Again, because for some reason people feel the need to chew it with their mouths wide open. Talk about class. -_-

Hate how in movies the sounds of a make-out session are amplified, and the whole scene just sounds like a bowl of macaroni and cheese being stirred.

I hate that sound people make with their mouths. When they try to communicate and all, I just want to punch them right in the molars!
