Nods as he continues looking out the window. "It is very nice to meet you Runes. And thank you for gracing me with the bit of conversation you have given." He sighs a little as he looks to the ground outside, and turns to walk away, heading to the door as he reaches in his pocket and produces a little paper doll.

Her eyes went to Jack as she looked at him and ran to his side. "You okay?" Sikura asked as she looked at him worried. She touched his hand, trying to see his wound.

Mei bit her lip a moment, watching the two in silence. She didn’t interrupt, deciding she’d let Jack handle this unless he asked for her help. He might not even be ready to tell the woman honestly… she didn’t know, but she did know it wasn’t her right to interfere with….

As he steps outside, Talin walks a little bit away from the inn and unclasps the brooch on his cloak letting it fall to the ground showing his scarred arms yet again, but also showing his military uniform. He throws the paper doll in his hand down in front of him and kneels starting to softly chant, trying to summon the spirit held inside of it.

Steven walked around what and where she should go from here on out. while she walked around she twirled her dark blue hair with her finger and humming at the same time.
"What should i do to pass the time"?Steven said curiosuly

He lowered his hand..there was nothing but a little bump there. He bit his bottom lip behind his mask and looked at Sikura for a moment. "Daijoubu.." He mumbled softly under his breath and slowly moved to stand. It had hurt a bit, but not too badly. He looked at Sikura and inhaled deeply. "Tenshi-chan..I have to be honest with you.." He took a step back from her. "I'm not..I'm not attracted to you the way you're attracted to me..I mean..I'm not attracted to any females in such a way.." His body had tensed a bit. Unsure how she would react.

As he finishes chanting and the spirit held in the doll appears before him he stares at the ground, terrified at looking up at the form. "I am sorry, old friend, for having to call you out like this, but I need your guidance.... I still do not fully understand why I was deployed to protect her."

The temperature in the common room of the Inn dropped sharply as the heavy wood door, swung open, letting in a gust of icy wind. Layla staggered out of the blizzard and into the warmth of the firelit room.
"Please..." She gasped breathlessly, dark eyes pleading as she scanned the faces of the Inn's patrons, muttering about their discomfort over the sudden rush of cold air. Pushing the fur lined hood back from her face, she attempted to catch her breath.
"Help...My cousin..." She said between ragged breaths.
"I can't...." She shook her head and attempted to force the lump that had formed, back down her parched throat.
"Please." She rasped once more, slumping against the door as her shaking legs threatened to give out.

Christy got bored of just standing around, and scanned the room. She found two new people have been added, the young wolf kin sniffered at the air. She smelled of a filthy type of cat. Shaking her head, she looked over to Jin when he said something. "Oh.. its nothing." She didn't really like cats, but she would tolerate one of them. She saw a man walk out the door with a paper doll, curious she leaned on the glass to listen and watch him.

Jin Looked to Christy when she shook her head. "What?" he had asked her, efore just nodded to her reply. She as she was preoccupied, he left her alone to go look around, keep his hands in his pockets he went to the bar to order a drink. But he was distracted by cold cool breeze, getting angry he turned around to see who opened the door. Getting water quickly from the tender he hopped off the stool and went to the young lady bending down and handing it over to her. "Where?"

Before the spirit can form the words to respond it vanishes and the paper ball bursts into a small ball of fire, quickly dissipating. Talin, weary from the exertion falls to the ground unconscious from the strain it put across his body and mind, the snow slowly starting to bury him.

Layla took the water from the young man with a look of supreme gratitude. She drank it down as quickly as she dared, wanting to waste not a moment more than she had to.
"My cousin..." She said again, more clearly. "There was an avalanche in the pass. The snow....it pushed him into the ravine, I was pushed into a stand of trees a hurt my leg. I-... I can't get to him." She said, shaking all over from the spent adrenaline and the harsh, painful uphill climb.
"He's hurt. And I can't get to him." She said again, her voice edging into panic. Gavan was all the family she had left in the world, and the though of losing that terrified her. She blinked quickly, sending the powder of snow still clinging to her lashes falling to her flushed cheeks. She refused to let herself cry like a child while there was still time to save him

Steven Walked Towards Layla."I can try to help reach him,i actually don't know where my brother is we got seperated durring the storm so i can relate how your feeling"Steven Said a little embarrassed and kind of scared "But really Layla i will try to help"

With a last look at Sikura and then a look to the injured woman, it didn't take long for Jack to make his decision. Within moments the nekojin was near the woman. "Avalanche?" He frowned deeply and glanced back to Mei. "Imoutosan. Hayaku! We've got to help." He looked at the woman. "My sister and I will help as best we can." That long tail was curled tightly around his waist and there was sincerity in his catlike eyes. He would, wait for Mei's confirmation though.

Christy watched as the man fell, what was wrong? She jumped away from the window and opened the door, quickly closing it before she went to the man. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked, poking his body. He didn't seem conscious. Crap.. she thought as she knelt in the snow and pushed the gathering snow off of him. She looked around to she found what was his clock and placed it around his shoulders. Gently grabbing his arm she lifted him up, with what she thought would be difficult. But it was quite easy, but she could still feel his weight. Slowly pulling to the door, she opened it and practically dragged the man inside. "Someone help me please??"

Jin watched her drink the water quickly. "An avalanche?" His green eyes narrowed, not liking the sound of this. "Can, you tell me where he is? Try to calm down." He looked around and was about to call on Christy but she dashed out the door only to return with someone. "Do you think you'll be okay while I go look for him. I wouldn't want you to hurt your leg even more."

Mei gave Sikura an almost apologetic look but then she too ran over to the injured woman and Jack. She nodded at him as she saw that look, seeming to ask her for confirmation and stepped forward. “Can you tell us more about where to go?” she asked quietly, rubbing the dragon’s eye on her tattoo. The air would feel a little warmer for the inured girl’s sake…

Talin starts to slowly regain consciousness as he is drug back into the inn. He glances up at the wolf girl that brought him in. "Th....Thank you..."

Layla nodded to Mei. "Head south on the trail towards the woods... but there's a small path that leads along the ravine. The fork is hard to miss if you don't know it. It's a shortcut. We've taken it a hundred times in weather worse than this." She replied shaking her head in dismay.
"Please.. a walking stick... I'll show you the way." She pleaded, not wanting to waste a moment more.

Jin didn't even bother looking around for a walking stick. There probably wasn't one around anyway, carefully lifting the girl onto his back. Taking caution of her legs, he didn't want to hurt her even more.
