Christy's ears twitched as the man looked up at her. Smiling, she replied "Your welcome.. are.. are you okay?" She asked taking him to the nearest table and set him on one the chairs.

Talin sits in the chair looking around slowly at what is going on, a bit dazed and confused from what had happened outside. "Still not strong enough....and that was my last one. I guess I'm on my own with this now...." He glance's at Christy and smiles. "Thank you very much for bringing me back in, I should be fine in a little while, if there is ever anything you need, just let me know."

Jack was bouncing on his feet. Anxious to get out the door and go. The less time they wasted the better. "There's no time for a walking stick, koneko." He blinked at Jin for a moment, shaking his head a bit. "Give her to me, I doubt you could last long enough in the cold with her on your back anyway." Jack turned his back to Jin and bent slightly so that Jin could put the girl on his back. Piggy back ride style. "She can point us in the right direction better like this..and my body emits more heat, almost as if I were covered in fur..."

Layla's eye grew even wider as she was passed from one man to another. Tentatively she wrapped her arms around Jack's shoulders. Once she was relatively certain she would not fall off his back, she pulled the hood of her cloak back up over her head and nodded.
"Please... let's go." She said to them, as she stared out into the swirling white of the blizzard.
I'm coming Gavan. She thought to herself. Just hold on a little longer...

Once Jack had her Mei opened the door, holding it wide for everyone to exit that was going. She was frowning a little, still rubbing the tattoo with her free hand as she focused on emitting what heat she could without letting her own body get warmer then was safe…She would be able to keep the party from being too affected from the cold… Once they were all out she would go in the direction the girl had mentioned earlier, her hands in her pockets…"this way?" she asked queitly.

((I'm such a ditz XD *forgot she hadn't told them her name yet*))

"Aa." Jack nodded, his long black cat tail had uncurled from his own waist and went up to gently wrap around Layla's waist. Helping to keep her steady on his back. His arms under her legs and holding her tightly but gently. When Mei opened the door for them he stepped out quickly. Jack's body was warm to the touch, as it was always warm, and even being half naked in the snow didn't seem to cool his skin at all. Nor did the cold seem to bother him in any other way. Those ears atop his head twitched a bit as he moved. He glanced at Mei for a moment.

The feeling of Jack's tail wrapping itself around her waist had put Layla slightly off balance for a moment. Pushing her slight confusion away, she pointed towards the south-east. Fortunately they would not be traveling into the wind as she had on her way to the inn.
"This way. Do not slow until we hit the old growth of the woods." She said in a way that would make one think she were used to issuing orders to others.

Mei nodded, starting off without another word. She headed for the old growth without another word, still holding out the warm aura to protect Layla from the chill. She was frowning a little, however, for once completely serious….

After regaining his state of mind of what is going on around him, Talin stands up and walks to a desk to get a room for the night. After exchanging coins for a key, Talin proceeds upstairs to the room and unlocks it, walking in he takes his cloak off and lies down on the bed and immediately falls into reverie.

Jack had cringed just slightly at the tone the girl on his back used when she told him which way to go. He was a cat..or rather..a panther. More or less. He was very sure footed, even in the snow and ice, he was also very quick, fleet footed as it were, but not as quick as he could be were he a real cat on four legs. He hadn't liked that tone very much but he was silent as he followed Layla's instructions.

Steven was a little worried about Layla and the others and where her cousin was.
steven twirled her dark blue hair with her finger from being nervous."what should i do?what should i do to help"?she kept asking herself

Timidly, fleep stepped into the room, peeking every which way to see the people inside. She had'nt a clue what she was doing here, or how she got here. She thought she wanted to make a new friend, but who knows. She sure didn't. regardless, she tied her red hair up as best she could, and tiptoed barefooted into the mystery she was going to unfold. "H-hello?"

Layla tucked her head down into Jack's shoulder, partially to decrease the amount of wind resistance she was causing, but mostly to keep the freezing wind and snow out of her hood. With her cheek resting on his shoulder, she felt her face slowly beginning to warm.
These people... she thought to herself. Without asking questions or bargaining for a reward...they're helping me. And... I don't even know their names.


Gavan sat listening to the wind howl from beneath the dubious shelter of a rocky outcropping. Blood seeped from the gash in his thigh, soaking his pant-leg and the strips of cloth he'd bound the wound with. He held his cloak about him as tightly as he could with one hand, the other arm hanging uselessly at his side. His whole body throbbed with pain, and he felt as though he had never known warmth. However long it had been since his cousin had gone for help, already seemed like days to him. He began to wonder which salvation was going to reach him first; Layla or death.

Mei walked a little faster, running a hand through her hair in thought as she moved as fast as she could. She didn’t know much about healing or anything but she did know one thing… for someone without her …condition the bitter cold could turn an uncomfortable situation into a deadly one…and so they may not have much time… She knew they were getting closer somehow…

Steven stopped thinking for a sec as she heard a voice and got up on her feet
"Hello"Steven said to the girl with red hair

Jack was frowning behind that mask he wore. Mostly he was worried for the person they were going to save. How long could he last in this temperature? "How much further, koneko?" He questioned the girl on his back softly. His voice a light whisper, but heavy with concern.
