She blushed as she looked at Mei and then covered her face with her hands. "Is it?" Sikura looked over at Jack again as he moved towards the windows. "Jack, is something wrong?" Her eyes were on him as she blushed and held her cider.

"Aa." He nodded slightly at Sikura's question but didn't turn to look at her. "The snow storm is raging worse than before." He leaned against the window for a moment then turned from it. Returning to his seat next to Sikura, he glanced at her and smiled softly, though wondered why she was blushing. Perhaps Mei had touched one of her ears or something inappropriate like that when he wasn't looking?

Mei nodded as she grinned at the raven haired woman, leaning forward on one arm to watch her a moment. She glanced towards jack but simply grinned to herself, perfectly content with having annoyed him simply because that seemed the only reaction he’d give. That man needed to learn to relax…she thought absently. As Sikura spoke to him she chuckled and picked up her own cider once more. “Yeah… I threatened to do something nice to him.” She murmured, taking a sip of the cider once more. As Jack sat back down Mei merely smiled to herself, saying nothing more.

Sikura tried to get rid of her blush as she looked at him. "I guess we're lucky to be here?" Her eyes went to her cider as she sipped it and smiled, knowing he smiled at her.

"Nice?" He shook his head. "Right.." He waved the bartender over and ordered a bowl of stew with a lot of meat in it. He placed a few coins on the bar top to pay for it. At least he would have to wait a while for the meal to be brought out. Maybe the girls would get bored of him and wander back up stairs or something. If not..he would just go hide in a corner when his meal was ready. He scratched the back of his head. Nodding a bit. "Lucky? Maybe....but the snow doesn't bother me much..just..with a storm like this, it's hard to see what's right in front of your face..and I don't like that."

Mei’s response at his words was merely to smile secretively, though she seemed to be getting a little antsy…being she wasn’t flirting with anyone for a moment. Slowly she stood, taking her cup with her as she stood at the window and peered out. For a moment she sipped her cider, trying to ignore that she was missing something…Why hadn’t Emi shown up yet? While glad…it worried her.

Her eyes stayed on him as she nodded and looked away from him. "I guess you want me to go away, right?" Sikura asked as he ordered his stew. She held onto her empty mug and closed her eyes.

He blinked. Staring at Sikura for a moment. "I never said that.." He frowned. Those eyes flicking over to look at Mei for a moment. She seemed worried about something, though he was sure he had an inkling of why she was worried. His tail twitched a bit, the tip of it lightly brushing Sikura's wings for a second as that tail rewrapped itself around his waist.

Mei didn’t move, her eyes still following the snow a moment longer. She turned just in time to see the tail tip brush Sikura and couldn’t help but grin and say softly “Awwww how cute a couple do you two make!” Before turning to step outside a moment even as the snow grew fierce and shutting the door behind her. She was gazing out into the white out a moment, not able to see a thing but wishing she could. Something about this… Something wasn’t right. ((she'll come back in soon XD she's just gonna let anyhing thown at her for her comment hit the door first))

She looked at him as his tail brushed her wings and blushed as she looked at him. "Okay." Sikura sat back down next to him as she got another glass of cider. "I just want to be a friend to you, Jack.."

"Honto, ne?" Her words had caught him off guard and he stared at her for a moment. However a glare was shot towards Mei, only to bounce off the back of the closed door. His ears drooped just a little though as his attention returned to Sikura. "I'm a thief and an assassin, to be my friend is a dangerous thing." He looked away from her, looking wistfully at the opposite wall. "My tomodachi usually end up dead or betraying me."

Mei frowned a moment longer into the snow, her hands on her hips as she stared outwards. Emi…Emi should have been here. Snow had never done much before…briefly her tattoo shifted, the eye appearing to open. Mei glanced downward at it, reaching up to pat above its head that was so near her own heart. “Go back to sleep…” She said with a note of discomfort in her voice before turning and entering again. She would stand at the window now, sipping her cider as she let the other two have their moment. Seems she’d be sleeping alone tonight while those two danced around one another…

Sikura looked at him as his ears drooped and closed her eyes as she nodded. "Thanks for giving me a chance." Her eyes stayed closed as she went towards the stairs. She started to cry as she walked up the stairs.

Jack frowned as Sikura walked away from him..with tears in her eyes. He blinked, clearly confused as to why she seemed suddenly upset. "..Nani?" His head tilted to the side a bit as he watched her go up the stairs..Just then the bartender brought his bowl of stew to him and he frowned deeply. Glancing to Mei with that look of confusion still in his eyes. "Anou..."

Mei glanced over, watching them a moment as she saw the other girl walk away again. She hadn’t heard what was said but when he spoke to her, even if it wasn’t a particularly clear request, she walked over to him. She could gather something had happened where the poor clueless feline had missed something… It was kinda cute. Why did those two have to be so adorable? Tempting her like that…

Glancing towards Sikura’s room and deciding to comfort the emotional angel after she answered Jack’s unspoken question she put her hands in her pockets, tilting her head to the side. “You seem clueless my friend… Why don‘t you try talking about it.” She observed, waiting for him to speak his question or at least talk about his confusion so she could set straight what she could….

Her hand went to her chest as she tried to calm her heart and ignore the nekojin. Was that connection she felt with him when they met an accident or was she putting herself through this act? Sikura sat on the floor infront of her door as she had felt so good being near him but she wasn't wanted.

He looked almost relieved when Mei came over to him. "...I made her upset?" He frowned deeply, confusion still flitting about in his eyes for a moment. "I'm not even sure how...I didn't mean to.." He sighed. Women were so...strange. He scratched the back of his head. "Maybe she got upset 'cause I told her it'd be dangerous to be my friend..but I didn't refuse her offer..so..I dunno.." He sighed, his ears drooping just a bit as he tried to put the pieces together.

Mei listened silently a moment, half wanting to laugh as he spoke of not meaning to upset the other woman. So she had gathered… for an assassin he really was rather sweet…. Oblivious but sweet. She tilted her head to the side and watched a moment before raising an eyebrow. “the proper response would have been Yes, she probably thought you were trying to politely reject her..” She explained, reaching over to pat him on the top of the head.

“She is an emotional little thing isn’t she? But she likes you…” And with that statement she laughed and walked towards the Angels door, shaking her head to herself. She had no place here…. She thought absently, feeling suddenly like a wolf among sheep for her flippant ideals towards the physical and attraction…

Shaking off the thought she walked to the angels door and knocked lightly. “Sikura….you keep giving me excuses to hug you like this and I might just think you want me too…” She teased through the door, waiting for her knock to be answered.

She stood up and opened the door as she blushed. "Sorry, it's run when I can because I may not have the chance tomorrow." Her eyes closed as she stood hugging herself with her wings. Sikura looked down at Jack and shook her head to get her mind off him.

Mei glanced towards Jack but then back to the angel, reaching out and pulling her into a hug quickly as she saw how she was holding her wings. For a moment she simply patted the other woman’s back saying simply “You’re being emotional but that’s nothing to say sorry for. Emotions are what make people fun to be around.” She chuckled then and just held the other woman, glancing at the floor in thought.

(Bedtime for me. A lot of homework still for the morning.)

Jack sighed again. He was sorry he had made Sikura upset but he was glad both girls were upstairs now. Jack pulled his mask all the way down and began eating his stew. He ate quick but slow enough so he wouldn't choke on the chunks of meat.

(Yeah. Just have her put Sikura to bed to rest or something.)

As Sikura began to calm down Mei slowly put her to bed, figuring she should stay and rest a moment. Stepping away she would close the other’s door and began to walk downstairs, looking almost….brooding. She was frowning and chewing her lip now, gazing at the floor in silence and not even noticing Jack’s mask was down for a few moments as she headed to stare out the window again. Seeing his whole face… He was an attractive man but those scars…. They looked almost like someone sewed his lips shut. While the scars fascinated her and made her want him even more it was still a saddening thought….
