I love it! Its so good i've been getting my non anime loving friends hooked on it!

People were pestering me to watch Death Note for ages. I thought it sounded like a pretty cool idea for an anime, but I wasn't desperate to watch it. Then one afternoon I was bored and decided to try watching the first episode. After that I needed to see what happened next and before I knew it was finished episode 11 ^^
I love Death note loads, and L. L is my favourite because he's just too cute >_<

I never really got into Death Note at first, but after watching it for awhile i really got into, i even got my boyfriend into it to. I loved Near until after one of my friends then decided that she liked it and started copying...everything i liked and my style then i switched to Matt.

I have only read the first manga.
L is so cute! =3 I love him.

It was an awesome anime and manga. I am quite the fan. I have even watch the movies. :lol: I guess it be obviousy by looking at my avatar. I cosplay as L. Even in real life I have. Maybe later when I find the photos, I to put some pictures of me up so you all can see them. :XD

I have to say Ryuk's withdrawal symptoms are very funny when he goes without apples for too long. I love Misa as well, because she's just so cute. Especially when she's arguing with Takada and being so immature. ^^
I hate Near. I don't know why, he just annoys me. Mello is awesome, though.

Even though I haven't finished it, I'm in love with the manga. :drool: I haven't watched the anime, and most likely never will. I have the feeling it will ruin it for me, and Death Note is better in a manga.

In the beginning, I was all for Light Yagami. And then they introduced "L" in person for the first time.. I wasn't sure who's side I was on for a while after that. I liked them both, they're both very interesting. I figured out that I liked L better, though. He's just so awesome! <3

Now I kinda hate Light. :sweat: It doesn't help that I'm at a part where Light Yagami still doesn't remember that he's Kira. I hated that, by the way. Light Yagami losing his memory of the Death Note was one of the worst moments in manga history. I mean, the scene itself was nicely done. But I hate Light after the fact. He's just not as interesting anymore. I can't wait till he gets his memory back, because he was so awesome as Kira! I mean, I don't like that he was after L, but he was just better before!

Misa kind of pisses me off. Again, once she lost her memory of the Death Note, I hated her. *sigh* I really wish that scene hadn't happened. -.-

L is awesome in every way. I can't find one thing I don't like about that guy, he's one of my favorite manga/anime characters of all time.

Overall the manga is awesome. <3 I only hate the one scene, but I'm sure it works to the manga's advantage soon! Going based on the manga's awesomeness up to that point, it has to just make the manga better eventually.

Is it just me, or did Light get a lot stupider when her lost his memory of the Death Note? I always found that he didn't seem as cunning and clever after that...

@ The Roze - Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying! That's why I hated Light Yagami after he lost his memory of the Death Note. He was so clever before that, but afterwords he just wasn't as smart...

On another note, I just got to the part in the manga where Rem killed L! Why does my favorite character always die?! T.T Curse you, Light!!! D:<

I think that really shows how much the Death Note brought out his true cunning side. I preferred him when he was evil, even though he manipulated Rem into killing L, thus committing suicide. I loved both L and Rem and he just killed them both :(
L is definitely the best. I don't think there's a single person who doesn't like him.
