I hate it. It's harsh sounding, and it comes from the same root as barbarian, and it's ooooooooooooooooooooooold! You walk away from a bus full of children taunting you with names like Barbara Bush and Barbara Walters when you're only six or seven years old and see how nice a name it is. u_u;

I took a semester of Mandarin a couple of years ago, and I was given a Chinese name then. I really like it. *_* I almost wish it wouldn't make me seem like a complete douche to change my name to it legally. ._.; But I think that if I am ever in a Chinese speaking place that I'll use it. Maybe... if I don't chicken out.

Ooh...that reminds me...I need to turn off my electric blanket. I turned it on when I was trying to take a nap but I never fell asleep. XD I even have my electric heater on. XD

Being not able to get warm just sucks! Which, I'll be glad when I get in my car though and it warms up. I have good heating it it. XD But it won't really warm up if you let the car sit there and warm up. I've let it sit for 15minutes once and it didn't get warm. Then I took off and 3minutes later I had heat. Same thing with defrosting my front windshield.

I bet your Chinese name is pretty. xP

The surname I was given is Bai, which took some time getting used to. Perhaps it has something to do with my own name, but I'm kinda biased against B names. >_>;

On the other hand, when you put Bai (which means white) with the rest of my name, Li Xin (pure heart), then it all works out rather well. So I shan't complain.

My surname apparently means "I", Like, "I" do, and the other character in my name means "to assist"... .___." So, my name pretty much means... I assist. lmao. XD

Actually, I think that's a rather nice, meaningful name. Perhaps your parents hoped you'd grow up to be kind and generous and willing to help people. >_>;;

That is a pretty name.

I've only ever taken on one name from a foreign language class and we only did that in the first year of it. I have only ever taken Latin. The name I had was Livia.

My car warms up pretty quickly once you start driving it. If it is just sitting, hang it up. Then, if I drive too much, I'll lose reverse. And when it is changing gears, mainly in the lower speeds, it's jerky. So, there is something wrong with the transmission in my car, but it is a hit or miss if there is something wrong with the turbo.

Edit: Well, I have to go. I might sign on when I get to class if I get there early enough. I might be able to be on during class, but once I start working on artwork, I normally disappear. XD (It's my graphic design class in case you're wondering how I'll be online.)

Okay...back...after it took me 10 minutes to bring up this school computer, get firefox to start because it had to install updates, and then get on here. And my teacher just walked in the door. XD

Livia is the female version of Livius. It's the family name. Romans had 3 names, the first one being only used by close family and friends, the second one which is the family clan name, and the last one which anyone would call you by. As for what it means, I have not a clue. XD
