Yummy! I was about to put some veggie chicken in the oven with some lemon and peppers. I really need to go food shopping soon.

Oh that sounds good too! I haven't really gone food shopping since we moved in with his parents. *I'm a total mooch now. :<

That's one thing I miss is not having to pay for food unless I wanted to. I eat too much though and seems like most my money goes towards food. XD

I'm pretty good at finding deals, my old roommate was a couponer. and MAN did we have stuff!! Like 15 boxes of stuffing and 20 things of tin foil.

I mostly buy stuff that's on sale or if somewhere is having a 10 items for $10 sale. I'm just cheap but I live off of minimum wage so I kinda have to be.

I'm above minimum (not by much) but I get shit hours. I have 14.5 hours this week.

That's about what I have but I told them I needed time off though. Normally I get like 30 or so normally. I'm hoping that now that I have a second job it'll be easier. I mean, I really don't need money for much of anything but I kinda want to save up just in case.

I'm trying to get a second job for the summer season. Hopefully something with the forestry parks or the zoo. So I can start heading into the jobs I want.

I was trying for the zoo but they require you to actually be in classes or have a degree to be hired in. I'm hoping that I can get some kind of job offer before I move too but I'm having a hard time finding anything because it's across borders.

I have the degree, but most zoos want you to have at least one year of zoo experience before hiring. It's so frustrating. I can't get that one year unless they hire me but they won't hire me because I don't have that one year.

Some count practicum hours for "experience". If not then I have no idea how they expect people to work somewhere that won't let them get the experience they need.

In some cases, you'd have to know someone in the business in order to get past that one-year experience requirement...

I can't feel one side from where I had stitches when I was a kid but burns are the worst!

I made some lemon pepper veggie chicken. It was pretty good but I overcooked it a bit.

That sounds yummy.
The best way to cook chicken, is low and slow. For me, 275 for an hour, maybe longer depending on the size of the breast.

Veggie chicken is really easy to overcook. If I would have taken it out of the over 10 minutes before I did I think it would have been better. It was still good though.

Veggie chicken... is that like the veggie beef patties?
