I've tried drawing gourds and I totally fail at it xD
I can do pumpkins, to a degree - but not gourds xD;

Hmm I haven't even tried gourds...I'm not good with oranges...

Those don't have that much to them, so I'm not surprised they're fairly hard :3
You'd have to be REALLY good with shading and small craters/bumps to do it :3

And lots of patience, after about 2 hours of not getting it right I usually give up for the day.

Shading is a tough thing to do. I can remember having to learn to shade in art class. And then having to look in a mirror to draw myself and shade that.

Shading is the hardest thing for me.
I'm glad I don't have to draw myself.
