I think you can but I'm not sure. A friend of mine was in basic and he was going to write to me but I never got a letter. :/ Which sucked because I'm a sucker for getting letters in the mail.

Hmm true, but I'm not the best a long trips. I get sleepy.

Only thing I've done with people I met online was talk to some close friends over the phone. Reminds me to let them know what the current number is. And I met only one person from the internet in real life. I'd say that that meeting went pretty good since the person is my boyfriend and we've been together since 2003.

I haven't met any in real life - was going to with someone who actually lives about 5-6 hours away from me, but we lost touch and never did it~
