I honestly don't think age is a fence when you pass 18.

There are still some social mores with a few years gap.

But the older you get the less it matter.

But I get you there, I don't think age matters that much, after all, some people are very mature; or on the other hand still very child-like for their age.
And I don't care about age difference that much. My boyfriend just turned 31.
Concerning some stuff in our relationship I can feel the difference in age though.

A relationship with two people of a different ages shouldn't matter.

Someone's feelings for another person shouldn't be age restrictive.

A huge part in the matter is the maturity of the individuals in question.

As well as the realization that with age does sometimes come

Generation differences as well as the possibility of physical restriction

(depending on the age gap, that is, for physical restriction.)

Both individuals really need to understand what dating someone

of a youger age or older age entails. And they have to accept it.

Well, I don't thing that last part has much to do with age, or maybe it does. Every person has different goals in life, and certain needs and wants. Those goals change when you grow older, as does your experiences in life. For example, being able to stand on your own from a very young age makes you more mature. But also, what you want in a relationship. For example concerning having children or not.
I think the main part is, if you love someone - and you don't always have to agree on everything - but have common grounds, age doesn't matter, unless there are too much differences between the two of you in what you want in life.

Sorry, probably bad syntax and what not. In dutch this would go much better :D

That would be correct. I defended Gabriel when he

was still here and I defended Kylie when her accounts

were banned. I did what I could to stay in touch and

make sure she was being treated fairly. My work is

now seemingly done. This isn't known to anyone but

when I came back in late february I didn't plan on

staying. I was going to drop by and donate my last

crown to someone I thought deserved it. I happened

upon Gabriel's case and fought tooth and nail against

the injustice I seen. The case at hand kept me on

menewsha and re-lit my pilot light for this community.

But, now that her case is taken care of, and I have

no chance of being on staff, we'll see where it all takes me.

The main points are equality in maturity and some life goals.

The basic original point being that age shouldn't matter.

I myself have had to stand on my own since part way through

my last year of high school and it has most definitely had an effect on me.

This may seem selfish.. but I'm very glad you stayed.
Not the fact that they were banned.. or the fact you can't be a staff member. Please don't misunderstand me.

I wouldn't of ever met any of the friends I have now on this site.. if it wasn't for you.
The way you presented yourself made me want to talk to you more, and through you I met Emma, Lizzie and Neko-Chan.. and everyone else.. they're such sweethearts.

It's this sense of friendship, the one between you

and I, between my regulars and I, and regardless

of my position as a member or staff member, my love

for the community that is keeping me tied down. I

know If I were to leave I'd feel as though I lost friends

who have truly grown on me. I would also fear the

community would lose another member that actually

speaks out, a type of member I feel the community needs.
