Excuse me? could you point out where I said he was wrong? If you check the support e-mail you'll see there wasn't something wrong per se, but there are clashing sections. You wouldn't want to be held legally accountable for anything in the future now would you? We as a community might not be able to make you bite the bullet but the court system could. The clash doesn't relate to actions you take as of now (that I know of) but may relate to actions you take in the future. I will PM you as well as e-mail if you prefer.

What I DID say is there are some things the users should know about that they may not be aware of. I also cited that you never added anything addressing my original issue. So to sum it up, I didn't say he was wrong, I just found a clash of sections and have request for information to be added. For the record if you would like me to I will personally contact you with my issue regarding the lack of information on the terms of service. Seeing as it was what drove me to question you in the first place I will continue push the issue.

I think that allowing me the opportunity at a sticky with only the most important sections quoted it would make it easier on the community than having to re-read the rules constantly, which in turn, would make more people aware.



Also, as a final regard to your post, the hostility is really unnecessary. I'm sharing information with you that I believe could save you, and in turn this website, legal trouble in the future. I don't see that as a reason to be hostile. I do this even though I already acknowledge your dislike for me as well as the knowledge that I will never be promoted to staff on this site. If anything you should be grateful.

Hence me pointing out my lawyer disagrees with you. Do you really think one of the top internet lawyers in the world would put clashing statement in his generically permissive privacy policy?
