No, they are never forced to release a thing.

But they should, the community needs information.

Think about it: It'll make them look REALLY bad to be all "we refuse to say anything".
And they can't keep it private either, because Inso said EVERYTHING was to be made public about that case.

What you and, most of the community, do not know is Gabriel personally knows the AA and moderation team.

If it simply was put as "Bad Behavior" Than my guess is it was a personal issue.

I trust the admins too. I mean, I really trust them. I hope that I don't get in trouble for taking a small part in this...

You can't ban people with the reason "guilt by association".

I remember the Magaly banning. People who sided with her weren't banned, so don't worry. :]

@Azazel: Actually, I spoke to Gabriel via pm yesterday and he told me a lot about the situation.
Even looking past his obvious bias, I think he made some very valid points. He also told me that the staff (himself included) went ahead and tried their hardest to get Magaly and Dare banned. I don't know if this was BS or not, but I'm more inclined to believe it after Inso made that public banning thread. : /

Mene's been my life for the past three years. :3

No matter what terms they were on any administration of any website needs to be impartial.
They can be emotionally furious and want revenge all they want, but when it comes time they log into their account and begin to use administrative powers, they need to, no matter how much it may hurt them and eat at them, look at every situation with un-biased eyes.
If they don't feel they can do this than it is a compromise and their position and in turn a conflict of interest.
If that is the case, no administrative-related actions are to be done and if they are, they are un-permissible and to be un-done.

I don't want to distrust the mods based on a reason I'm still unclear about, so I'll refrain from passing judgement. I just want them to give us a clear explanation.
