Many, many, many years ago, there lived a lonely Celestial God; Said to have been one of the strongest in Heaven. One day the God decided to visit the Realm of the Mortals; there he met the most beautiful Maiden he had ever laid eyes on and immediately fell in love with her, as did the Maiden toward the God. To the Maiden, the God gave his heart; A celestial entity among the heaven's, said to contain limitless power - the heart of the God. However, in the Realm of the Gods, it was considered taboo that a God and a Mortal be together, more-so for one to Give away their heart. But the God was stubborn and continued to court the Maiden... That was until a jealous Goddess who had longed for the God found out. And out of pure hate and envy, the Goddess secretly went to the Realm of the Mortals during the night and assassinated the Maiden. As the morning sun rose, the God went to visit his beloved but found her dead on her bed. Devastated, the God fell into a deep depression; which caused the jealous Goddess to feel guilty, thus the Goddess confessed to the God of her evil deed and her feelings. Although angry, the God merely requested that they were to never speak nor see one ever again. And with that, the God left the Realm of the Gods and exiled himself to the Realm of the Mortals; where he was never heard of ever again.
Its been years since the incident and the jealous Goddess still feels guilty for what she had done. After the God had exiled himself, the Goddess had personally honored the Maiden's death; turning her body into four beautiful gems: A white gem, a green gem, a red gem and a blue gem. Each gem was entrusted to four different Kingdoms for safe keeping; however, the four gems were stolen and broken in half... Releasing the soul of the Maiden.
Another few years later; the four Kingdoms have broken into a terrible war and it's been said that the broken halves of each gem have been reborn as people. One male and one female. However, no one knows who these reincarnated gems are, where they are or even if this rumor/legend is actually true. Upon hearing this news, the Goddess sends her half human, half God son--Zhang Jun Bao--and a fairy--Rui Xi to look for the reincarnated gems and hopefully bring back the soul of the Maiden.
Unbeknown to the duo, a secret sect forms; their main goal is to capture the reincarnated gems and use the Maiden's Soul for their own evil deeds. The Final Four is what they are called; consisting of the greatest, if not the best martial artists within the four Kingdoms. Based on the Legend of the Four God Beasts--Long the Dragon of the Northern Winds, Lao Hu the Tiger of the Eastern Jungles, Guil the Two Headed Turtle of the Western Seas and Feng Huang the Sacred Phoenix of the Southern Sands--they strike fear within the land and only serve their Lady Sorceress. Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am
Polite, easy to amuse, calm at some times, and very attentive. In conversation, I'd rather meet eyes with the other person,
rather than avoiding gaze -- I believe this to be polite and courteous, as well as a means of further understanding the
other's emotions. You may find me rather playful at times, and serious at others. I have a
fascination for the unknown -- to quell this, I spend most of my free time in the Monastery's library.
There are other times when I may prove to be irrational. Despite religion of taoism, I judge and act in
accordance with my feelings rather than logical thought. I am a serious control case, where as I follow all the Monastery's
rules and Taoist preachings to the letter.

After nine cycles of seasons, my Parents revealed to me that I was adopted. Found at their doorstep, just as
the school was finished constructing. It's the look in their eyes, it may just be me. But I think they were hiding
something. Something more. .
Both Zhang Sanfeng, and He Xiangu were practitioners of Calligraphy. They believed through writing that
martial arts could be defined. My parents were geniuses when it came to combat. Wielding an elegant Jian longsword, Xiangu
would dance around the bandits who once raided the school. -- And my father, with his aggressive broadsword stances,
devastated hordes. With a single swing of their weapons, they would shatter the densest of armor, tear effortlessly through
the strongest of shields, and quickly end the battle.
I was taught calligraphy, also martial arts. Feng Yun Jian (Wind and Cloud Swordplay), or so they called it.
The rest of my life is relatively boring. I lived a sheltered life, prevented from leaving the mount's Sactum.
Though I never questioned this, - Why would I want to leave paradise?
Everything would fall apart the day the Penglai was stormed by the Armies of Air and Earth. Both attempting to sieze
control over the territory, discarding the lives of the civilians. It was this day that I met the Fairy.
She spirited me away when urged by my parents.

Well, I'll start from what I can remember. My parents... I don't know about them. My grandmother's been the one who has been taking care of me since I can remember. I grew up happily; Granny's always been strict when she needs to be but also very kind. I look up to her for everything I come across. Granny's also the one who taught me about life, the Gods and the mortals. She also told me how to fight, so I know I've been taught from the very best! She also taught me first aid, how to make medicine and all that stuff. It's kinda boring, but if I ever run into anyone in need, I know what to do! At least I hope so...
I've grown up by myself with Granny. I have no other siblings, so I look to Granny for company. However, I also love to visit the Realm of the Mortals~ They're such interesting people! And lands which they live in is really pretty. Especially the waterfalls, streams, rivers... The flowers, trees and so many other things! And the animals they have too! I especially love the horses, they're really pretty and fast! I love riding the horses~!
It's been recent that I found out that I'm to help someone on a quest. Granny found out that the Gems of the Maiden's Body have been reincarnated into mortals! Who would have thought? So now I've been sent by the Gods and Granny to help out the Goddess's son, find these broken jewels and hopefully, reunite them to return the Maiden's Soul and maybe even end this silly Four Point War! I'm pretty sure we'll be able to do it. After all, he's got someone like me to help him out anyway.

I don't pretend to be anything that I am not and I don't dance around the truth of a heavy subject (well unless it could possibly get me in trouble). People often call me blunt and that I can't tell a white lie, but to them I just shrug it off. I know that the truth hurts, but to me it's better to hurt someone rather than giving them some false hope or happiness. I'm also a fun-loving guy whether or not I have the time to goof off. Life is short so why should you waste your time working for paper and precious metal when you can be out sparring or exploring the land. I know that it seems short-sided of me to say that, but honestly I live in the moment and hell, planning is for those who can't face the unknown.
However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. It all started with my birth in the high altitudes of the Kingdom in the Air. It was here that I learned all that I did. Though I didn't grow up admiring my father like most sons would I grew to respect him, as he taught me martial arts and how to use my surroundings to my advantage be it by obscuring an opponent's vision with my wind or using makeshift weapons such as rocks or dust. It wasn't exactly an honorable way to fight, but certainly a practical one.
As I grew older, I found that despite my love of martial arts, I hated to work. I was like the wind: whimsical, fun, and didn't like being sedentary. To the chagrin of my mother I could never stick to a job and would often leave early and take extended breaks, leading me to be fired (or banned in some cases). My father wanted me to set a goal for my life too, particularly to take after him in weapon smithing, but I found no love for it. Instead, I decided that I would live my life in the moment, doing what I wanted when I wanted. Strangely, that was how I found my birthmark. I hadn't thought of it as much when I was younger, merely a marking on the back of my right palm that was coincidentally in the shape of a swirl, but the more I looked at it, the more it resembled a wisp of wind.
Curious about how my birthmark resembled what it did, I researched upon it and found out about the white gem as well as the back story to everything. It even told me about about the birthmarks, one of which looked like mine. Sure, that could have been a coincidence too, but it felt too contrived to be one. I tried to track down everything I could once my family and I fled to the Middle Capital (shirking off work to do so), but I soon learned of the existence of all the other gems as well and it made me wonder if there were others with birthmarks too.

Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am headstrong. It is that simple; I’m very determined, stubborn and occasionally pig headed. I will fight for my rights and I wont stay quiet. I can be loud somewhat, still having a childish mind, I seem to just want to sit up on the roof and watch the clouds, wondering around in my own fantasy world. But then again, around people I do not know, I am shy and timid, keeping to myself and not showing my louder side. But be careful, if it is ever needed I can switch over to my loud and crazed side to fight for myself and I wont stop till I’ve won.
However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. I, Fang-Hua Ming, was born high up in the mountains where the air is so think that you could cut it with a sword. My father is a palace guard, this allowed me to live in the palace, playing and growing up with the royals. Here I also trained with my dad and other guards, learning what they know and more. Soon I was able to manipulate the air around me, making everything in my life so much easier.
I used to be teased by other kids around my age, for having a weird marking on the side of my neck. It seems to be the shape of the winds blowing across something. I never listened to what the kids said, this proved to be a good strength. Soon I could block out all noise except the only things that I wanted to here. One night the high nobles were meeting, I was outside meditating. Closing off all noise except what the nobles were saying I finally heard it.
I soon learned about these gems and this birthmark, air being my villages. Apparently those that have the mark posses this gem inside them. Days after that I spent hours up on the roofs of the palace looking up trough the think air and clouds, up at the sky; day dreaming about the gems and such. Soon I made it my duty to train harder, to protect myself if anything was made to happen.
Because of the war that started, my father is soon going to ship me off to the Middle Capital. He thinks I will be safer there. I really do not want to go, but I will never let my father down.
What was that? Oh, wait... I should tell you about this! Do not judge my by my looks, I’m still a kid inside, however I will hurt anyone who tries anything funny on me or my friends/family. There are many things I love, which are cooking, playing my flute, the skies at night, flowers and animals; however there are some things I hate as well. That consist of Thunderstorms, being walked over, rude demanding people and anything loud.
Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am .... well if... if I have to admit, I am pretty dense. Yep and that's it....you can go away now.... what?... more?... Fine. I'm pretty much a kind sweet girl, I find it very hard to be angry at anyone. If you manage that, kudos to you, you should give yourself a pat on the back! I am a calm person, I can be a bit childish at times, but your going to have to deal with it sorry. Also I tend to be spontaneous, and very patient. However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. It's a bit complicated, I don't quite understand it myself. I was born in the Kingdom of the Leaves yet raised in the Kingdom of the Waves. But I haven't spent that much time in the Kingdom of the Waves before moving to the Kingdom of the Leaves with my Uncle who owns a restaurant. And me, being raised in the Waves, could have something to do with friends or family being there. I may never know. It could also have something to do with my name maybe. But moving on, at a young age I was taught martial arts--in my current home. At first I couldn't do it but, in the end I persevered. Besides being taught martial arts, I was taught how to control... manipulate if you will, the earth around me. It's pretty cool, maybe I'll show you one day!
I have the strangest birthmark on my hip on the right side. It looks like some type of leaf.. looks to be attached to a vine. H-hey, hey you can't look! I know your curious, but just trust me on this one hehe. I believe my grandfather mentioned something about it, I'm not sure. My uncle though, keeps bugging me about it and telling me to go do some research. But to please him I did so, looking up and learning about gods, goddess, gems and about a maiden or so. It doesn't really make sense to me, so I plead ignorance! If you know something, please do tell. =)
In my spare time I learned to play the flute, it is a very beautiful instrument. Though I hope to play a stringed instrument in the future. When I'm not out practicing my arts, or music. I'm helping my family around the shop, when I'm not doing that I'm just spacing out or wandering around the Kingdom. But soon I had to leave, my Uncle was sending all of us to the Middle Capital because of the war. He told me we would be safe there, I believe him. But... leaving..everything... That consist of following rules, being bored, playing by the rules, being dragged down, not being individual, silence, and most boring people.
Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am Troublemaker, troublesome, mischievous, and childish; that is what they all say, but I say no. Well to troublemaker and mischievous I say yes but I am not childish. Sure, some of the things I may do can look childish, but I just want to have fun. I do not like the rules they have here and I just want to be free and fulfilled.
However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. So I was born into a family of scholars, yay me. Eh, I never liked it, I hated studying all the time, and thus started my troubled streak so my parents call it. However, I just call it my free streak. I just wanted to be free.
My parents shoved me into a school so I could be like them soon one day. Studying in a temple, learning all about these gems, stones, and symbols. Apparently, these people that has a certain tattoo like symbol on their body are the reincarnations of this gem. Blue for my village, and a water symbol. Hey wait don’t I have one of those. Yeah all across my beach I have a waterfall, it is simple but elegant.
After this I well, nah I didn’t change, so I know about the gems, so I know there are only 8 people who are like me.. no 7 people that are like me, yeah that’s right. Eh you know I am just about to say whatever, but now we get to fun parts of my life. When I hit 18 I doubled on my trouble making, it is now a hobby. I quite school and just go around doing what I want. It’s so much funner then what the adults tell me what to do. However, my parents still rule over me until I have a family of my own. They are going to send me to the Middle Capital, this war is getting worse, and they want to protect me.

So she spent most of her time with her horse Sephy. She loved her horse more than anything and had had her for four years. She never had to get a job after all her family was rich. One day she was in the library doing research on legends and found the one about the gems and frowned. She looked at the birthmark on her arm in the shape of a drop of water. It was said that if you had this birthmark you had one of the blue halves of the gem. After finding out about this. She believed it and spent a lot of her free time researching these legends..

However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. I grew up in a strict family. There. End of story. You want more? Fine... I hated my childhood. My father was an all around strict General from the Kingdom within the Sands and my mother from the Kingdom within the Waves. Don't ask me how that really worked out, because your guess is as good as mine. And so my parents decided to move and live in the Kingdom within the Sands; however, the moment I was born, things only went downhill from there. My mother fell into a depression and I ended up taking care of her because my father was hardly around. And at the age of ten, my mother died and my father practically kicked me to the martial arts school.
So I endured it, striving to be the best just so I could rub it in my father's face. And I succeeded; I became one of the number one students within my age group. However, it seemed that wasn't enough for my father... He often degraded me even though I was the one of the top students. No, he wanted me to be the overall number one. And out of hate, I lashed out at him; only to be thrown out. So at the age of seventeen, I ran and lived on my own in the Middle Capital, doing some odd jobs and this elderly man took me in as a helper for his Tea Shop. Yes, my grandfather isn't related to me by blood, but I see him as if he were.
It's been four years since my father kicked me out and I learned of this strange birthmark I have on my left shoulder blade, which happens to be the symbol of a legend I was told when I was younger. It was a legend my mother told me before she past on... And here I am now. Helping my grandfather with the Tea Shop and perhaps successing it one of these days. I still train on my own and I protect the Tea Shop from anyone who tries anything funny; however, I'm hiding that from my Grandfather. And I also found out that my father had past on as well... Killed in battle as they say. And even though I hated him all of my life... I can't help but feel a bit sad of his passing. Well, at least he and mother can be together again....

I am very kind and will help anyone who needs it, as long as there's something in it for me that is. My strength is a large part of why I'm so attractive because I give a challenge. I don't usually give off a strong appearance and most people think of me as sweet and innocent, but once you meet me I'm far more dangerous than most. However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. I was born in the temples of sand, my mother and father were just starting their priest/priestesshood. We did not live richly nor highly and usually went for a few days without food. I lived most of my early years this way, rarely even able to leave my house. My parents kept their relationship together the best possible under these conditions, but my mother died soon after my 5th birthday.
When my mother died my dad was under such shock that he stayed at her grave for days, leaving me home alone to feed myself and bring him the food he needed. I was devastated by my mother's death as much, if not more, as my dad but I took it differently. Instead of making sure my mind knew she was dead I have forgotten her death completely. To me she is still alive and will never die, even as she ages in my mind. She has always been by side never leaving and I know it will never change. I have created her in my mind to the point that my dad has even left me alone when I talk to her. My only confident that I've ever had she will always listen to me and give me her advice. I know she's dead somewhere in my mind but right now I have clouded it so much that when you ask about my mom I say stuff as if she's still alive, and when you say something about her death I never understand you.
This being the case I have lived my life with few friends and few people who have earned my trust. When we moved from the Kingdom Within the Sand I wasn't devastated like my dad was when he said goodbye to my mother's grave. I didn't shed even a single tear and I didn't even talk on the way to the middle city. I was 12 when this happened and, although my mom knew I was broken, no one knew how I really felt about leaving. I didn't want to leave the grave of my mom and didn't even say goodbye to her when we left. My bond with her grew stronger, though she grew slightly weaker. I worry for her but I must stay strong for both her and my father. I took up the martial arts of the sand so I could protect my family and have spent most of my time training since we moved. My mother has helped me the most and has still never left my side as I practice, telling me what I need to learn when I make mistakes. I currently am the best in my class and don't plan on moving from that spot any time soon. Sometimes I thank it to the birthmark on my neck though, a knife that pierces the sun is what it looks like. I have often times thanked this mark for my misfortune and fortune in my life..

Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am not as happy go lucky as I really seem. Although there is always a perpetual smile upon my face it shows the true insanity within my frozen heart. There is no longer love for humanity in my heart and I will do nothing to stop at completing my tasks. Ni hao. My name is Zhao Ren Shu. But you may call me quite a few things. I use a lot of monikers. I suppose if you're a good friend you can call me Ren or Shu. I am currently 24 and my birth date is September 23rd. And recently, I have been recurited by the Final Four as a member of the Guil sect.
I was born and raised at the The Kingdom within the Waves; however, due to the news of the reincarnated gems, I am now in search for them. Also, I am a martial artist and I was taught at the The Kingdom within the Waves(modified of course). But prior to my recuritment, I was once a cook.
There are many things I love, which are the feeling of dirt between my toes, chaos, the color green; however there are some things I hate as well. That consist of sweltering heat, order, people trying to tell her what to do.
Okay, if you would like to know me better, I am nothing like what I look like. When people see me they think of me as nothing more than just someone with a nice smile, but that's not who I really am. I love chaos and causing disorder wherever I go. This war, it's most likely the most exciting thing to happen with kingdoms in disarray and all trying to overpower each other. Isn't it just wonderful? I think so too. I personally don't care much about what the Sorceress has in mind and more so about turning this world on its side and causing all government to collapse into a pile and leave nothing, but anarchy. Only then would the world truly be beautiful.
However, if you want to dig deeper into the story... Here I go. I always wondered what all this planning was about. From a young age I was always told to plan ahead and always prepare for the worst. I suppose that it was to prepare me (go figure) for learning how to fight in the way that my kingdom was so famed for. Through my years I was observant (always was) and would note a distinct strategy between the people I fought and with the right movements, I could predict their moves (something that dad taught me!) and work my base strategy around that. The only problem was when people caught onto my "base strategy" (well really it worked both ways). It personally wasn't for me, but as a child I was a good kid, a nice kid, one who was obedient and did what he was told.
As I got older however, my obedience diminished and it was replaced with my own fighting style: one that was unpredictable and relied on improvisation and inconsistency. I know! It goes against everything I was taught, but what of it? I still had some guidelines. Still, it fit me. I hated all this order and "do this, do that". I hated planning five million steps ahead of myself. And most of all, I hated how boring and like minded my friends and family were. They would always yell and scream at me for disobeying orders or causing disorder in the town through pranks, fights, rumors, and unknown to them: murder. They just didn't get it though.
The worst of things came when news of the war arrived and my father was egging me on to join the fight. Me? I was certainly interested in fighting, but not for our kingdom. I wanted to be the person on the sidelines who would make things that much worse by supplying both sides. I figured that if I join up with the Sorcress I can do that and plunge the kingdoms into a world full of chaos.
What was that? Alright, I should tell you about this... I like mixing my water with poison when I use it to fight. Oh, and I like to smile a lot.
I should be going to sleep... wake up in 2 hours or so... >_> but I'm procrasting
