A new man appeared in Eleanor's view and cause her to back up. His dark hair blocked the hunter whom she was threatening. Who is this guy? She thought as she caught on the rest of the action. She hadn't had time to react to how Melik was acting earlier, but this guy was taking him and questioning her. While she may not be particularly strong or great at fighting, she would go to the ends of the world for her friends. She considered Torrence and Melik friends whether they did her or not. They at least tried to get near her when she pushed them away.

She looked down, her weapon wasn't that far away. She watched the hunter as she darted to grab it. Once the boney material was in her grasp she took off after Torrence, snapping the chain into its scythe form. "And I'm not letting you hurt either of them," she said stopping just in front of Torrence, her new found courage becoming quite a welcome feeling.

The male cocked his head. "Heh, if you want him. You can have him." He looked back up at the moon.

Suddenly a shadow was cast on the ground.

He smiled. "I thought I told you to lay low."

A softer male's voice spoke into the night. "Sorry, but I seemed to have lost who I was tracking. I shall hunt them down tomorrow. Or would you like me to kill these three for you, my lord?"

The red-eyed male shook his head. "They seem to be friends of our Melik. I'll let them live... for now." He flashed Torrence a grin. "If you want to take care of Melik, go ahead. But he needs proper medical attention. I, for one, am pretty much a doctor."

He looked up at a rooftop to glare at his friend. "Just what are you laughing at? I quit last minute, so I'm close enough. I would have passed, but... I found saving lives so boring. I'd rather... kill."

The male waved the other one away. "Now where were we before Nieko-kun interrupted us? Oh, that's right. Hand over Melik or prepare to die."

Magically, his sword shifted out of the ground and into his hand. "What, never seen a magic trick before?" He cocked his head, "I'm also a skilled magician. Actually, now that I think of it, there isn't much I haven't done. Meh, that's another story for another time. Give Melik here." He swung his sword around and pointed it at Eleanor. "Or I will kill her."

Eleanor's eyes narrowed as she said as threatening as she could muster, "Go ahead and try. I will not let you harm them." She was petrified, she could tell by how this guy held himself that he had probably been trained in many different arts his whole life. She knew she didn't stand a chance, but at least, she might be able to give Torrence time to get away like she had tried to help her.

The brunette snapped the scythe so that the blade continued the length of the staff rather than curving. The weapon was taller than she was but she knew that Arrow would help her, he always helped her. "I will die before you can touch them," she hissed. She was challenging them, in hope that they would focuse on her rather than Melik and Torrence. She shifted her body in front of them a little more, her eyes flicking to the male on the roof before back to the male with the sword before her.

Atez glanced back at the building she had just been thrown from. No doubt her brother had slunk back into the darkness for now. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw something move, causing her to jump sharply and look.

I... I don't think I want to be alone right now...

Y-yeah, me neither. h-hey, you wanna go after Melik?

Yes... yes I do! Atez suddenly bolted down the street, going straight in the direction Melik had left in. She stopped however upon this new battle scene. What in the name of...

... all things unholy.

Torrence saw the other man 's shadow creep over her before they said anything.

She looked at the two of them. The one that came first agreed to let her take Melik from him so she backed up with him. Eleanor was next to her. She looked back at the man after he said something about Melik neededing medical care. She looked between him and the man as he then went on into how he started killing instead of saving.

She started to feel something. Sadness struck when she heard all these things. Killing made her angry and now this guy was taking back what he had said earlier. Pointing a sword at her best friend, she looked between the two. "You wont kill her. Leave her be. This is between you and me no other casualties needed." She then turned to Eleanor. "Run" She mouthed to her then looked back at the man with fire in her eyes. "I can get him doctors... what would you do for him anyways. Like you said... You like to kill not save"

The male stood there. He was contemplating whether or not he said tell them he was Melik's best friend. Finally deciding it would be interesting to toy with them, be laughed at Eleanor's weapon. "Oh, your little toy doesn't phase me. See." Suddenly a large death-like scythe appeared in his right hand. "I have one too. Only, I call mine the Soul Reaper. Any ideas why?" He laughed.

Spinning his scythe around, he finally pointed it at Eleanor. "Tch, you're not even worth wasting my eyes on." He looked at her. "Confused? Meh, it's not important. Although, I'm not really in the mood to play with my Soul Reaper. Would you mind fighting me if I fought with my spear?"

His once red eyes turned icy blue and his outfit changed as well. He eyed Eleanor. "My spear bows to no one. Now I'll rip you to pieces!" He flipped into the air with his spear spinning around below him. Holding onto with just his right hand, he landed the blade against Eleanor's weapon. He clanking sound made him smile. "Ah, I remember the day I fight got Soul Reaper. I defeated the owner using this very spear. You see, this spear and I are connected. Only I can wield it. If anyone else tries... they'll be... wounded." He laughed.

He stepped forward, but only to retreat back. In the midst of everything, he was slowly swinging himself around closer to Melik. He had no intention of hurting either Eleanor or Torrence as all he really wanted was Melik.

"And Melik is important to me. I need him. So why would I kill him if he is necessary to carry out my plot?" He glanced over at Torrence. He moaned and soon realized he'd be fighting two females. A growled escaped him. He hated fighting females not because they were woman, but because he felt he owed them respect. Spying Melik, he focused on his plan - distract the girls, grab Melik, and run.

He had a matching scythe, but it wasn't the name of it nor its appearance that frightened Eleanor. It was the spear that came afterward and what he said about it and how he came to get his scythe. It reminded her of Arrow and for a second that dropped her defenses as the male moved around her. It almost seemed like a predator stalking its prey until a voice yelled in her head, He's flanking you, wake up!

Eleanor startled back to attention as she flipped the scythe using it almost as a blockade or bar to keep the male at bay. "I'm not leaving you Torrence, I'm gonna help you like you were gonna help me," she said softly to the girl. The brunette made sure to keep her movements even with the males. "I said I am not letting you or anyone get near him, you got it?" She yelled agrily at him, she didn't care if he was changing color, he could've been growing new limbs at this point. She was going to protect them no matter what.

She found only one problem with what was going on, the other male on the roof. Eleanor knew she couldn't last long fighting one, let alone both, especially since she probably wasn't going to have time to react to him. "Try to watch the one on the roof," she whispered to Torrence. "Do what you can if he moves, but if they go for Melik, run. I'll be right behind you." She did not know their intentions, but she did know that she did not like how they wanted to use Melik for their own plot. He wasn't even giving him an option.

Torrence wrapped her arms around Melik sure she wasnt going to let these men get him. She didnt know why she was being so protective but she didnt want these men getting him. Especially after the man said he was only going to be used for a plot. She backed up with him in her arms hoping that they would just leave Eleanor, Melik and herself alone.

What was happening? IT was like everything was messing up after Damian died. The voices in her head seemed to be gone. She couldnt see Damian. She couldnt hear the other one and all she could feel was the terrified thumping in her chest. Thats when Eleanor warned her about what was on the roof. She already knew but she kept her eyes peeled anyways.

"Eleanor dont... Please dont fight him... Well just take Melik and go. Just like you said in the beginning. Thats all we want to do is take him and go" She carried him backwards letting her swords hang in their sheaths. She didnt feel safe. The terrified feeling was taking over and all she wanted to do was take out her swords. She just didnt want to drop Melik. This was quite the predicament.

"My lord, you are taking far too long. And it looks like we have a runner." The male from the roof flipped down and now stood blocking Torrence's path. "Come this way, and face my blades. Run that way, and face his spear. Oh, and if you go that way, face another hunter. Oh, and we can't forget that other hunter over yonder."

The male flashed a grin at Torrence. He had deep chocolate brown hair that covered his eyes some and lovely emerald green eyes.

The male was skinny beyond belief, but he was tall. He stood about 6 feet tall. However, it was not his height that intimidated people, it was the black mark that ran across his face. What could it possibly mean?

The green-eyed male looked at Torrence. He seemed almost friendly. Had he had a tail it would have been wagging. As he stepped toward Torrence the wind picked up his scarf and danced it around in the night. The golden flame tips sparkled in the moonlight.

Looking up at the stars, the male drew out two black swords. "I hope you like to play with fire... or else you'll get burned." Flicking them forward, the blades sparked and were now on fire. Twisting them around his body, he watched as the flames flickered.

He smiled at Torrence. 'My lord, we seemed to have forgotten to introduce ourselves." Bowing, and then raising back up to fight, the brown-haired male spoke. "I'm Nieko Colte."

Meanwhile the other male continued to eye Eleanor. "What, are you frightened little girl?" He pointed his spear at her neck. "Oh, and you can call me...well, does that really matter? Once I'm done with you, you'll wish you were dead. Nonetheless, I'm Rroy, Rroy Skytun."

Rroy looked over at Nieko. "Have fun," he said winking at the male that was now blushing at him. "Nieko... get your head into the fight and quit checking me out. We can have sexy time later." He rolled his eyes. "I cannot believe I just said that." He slowly moved his spear closer to Eleanor's neck. "What are you going to do sweet angel? Are you going to try and run on me? I should warn you, we are wicked fast."

His blue eyes glistened in the moonlight. He was a rather handsome male. Demonic, but very masculine especially when compared to his more feminine counterpart. It was almost a shame that something this attractive would be a killer. But that's what made him an ideal assassin. He not only had the looks, but also the voice, body, and mind of a perfect gentleman, that is, aside from that fact that he was thirsty for blood and violence.

Tears came to Eleanor's eyes, but they would not fall and she could not spare a time to blink. Not when she had to raise her chin just enough to keep the male's, Rroy's, spear tip from grazing her neck, or worse. She heard the voice of another male, it was softer, but she could not look, she didn't have to to know that they were in trouble at this point. Rroy was nothing like he appeared to be. His looks made him someone many girls would lust after and Eleanor would be lying if she didn't find him attractive, but he looks seemed to just be the sheep skin on the wolf. She was not going to let him get to her.

The small girl took a deep raged breath and she sucked her lower lip in slightly and bit it. It had been a habit she acquired to try to calm herself down. It didn't seem to work though as the tears began to flow over and down her cheeks. I have to try and protect them as much as I can, she thought to herself. She was slowly pulling the scythe to one side as she stood there silent. "No," she said barely above a whisper, any louder and she would not be understood over the tears and her caught breath. "I am not running," with the last part whispered, the girl thrust the bladed weapon at Rroy and at her height, the blade would've been level with his thigh.

She had no plan at this point but to fight for her and her friends to stay alive, even though she really didn't have a clue as to what she was doing at that. She also knew that she didn't want Rroy close to her, the thought of that scared her. He seemed like a deceiving person, at least from what she collected thus far about him.

Torrence felt even more terrified now that the man was in front of her. It was funny that he was blushing off of the sex thing. Her mood cheered up. "Id rather take my chances with the hunter."

She had thought about it and found that Atez was the hunter he was talking about. He must have been trying to get her to drop Melik. She backed up as he walked forward. "Im not letting go of him. Your just going to have to kill me or take me wth you and thats that." She said stamping her foot down. That was the first time she felt courage for herself instead of just letting Damian be her courage. She wanted to keep the feeling though she knew it wasnt going to last without Damian being there with her. She couldnt even feel his presence and this bothered her. She couldnt feel anyones presence. All she felt was alone. Eleanor and Melik was all she had left and she was going to protect that as long as possible.

She looked at the man in front of her. "The names Torrence by the way." The man captivated her vision and he was all she could look at though she kept her prize in her arms making sure he couldnt get at it. The dark swords didnt scare her anymore. It was almost like her fear was a full power but she wasnt going to let that take her over.

Rroy eyed the girl. "Hey now, watch where you're pointing that thing." He lowered his weapon. "Maybe a spear isn't the right weapon to use here. Hmmm, I feel like maybe I could cut you an arm or two." His eyes slowly faded back into their typical crimson color. His spear disappeared and was replaced by a... a chainsaw!

Pulling the cord, the monstrous machine let out it's blood curling roar. It's blade was covered in blood as well as the rest of the tool. It was rather obvious what this thing would do to Eleanor should she fall prey to it.

"You should have ran while you had the chance." Laughing, he suddenly vanished.

"Well hello there Torrence," he said reappearing where Nieko once stood. "Trying to run are we? Now I can't let you do that. Nieko, be wary of that scythe of hers. Fire balls might be more effective against her." He turned his attention back to Torrence. "Shall we continue our little spar? Or do you just want to hand over Melik?"

He ran his hand through his black hair. At the top, two little pieces popped out. The two tufts of hair almost looked like horns. He laughed a dark satanic laugh. "Come now, don't misbehave. I would hate to cut you into a million pieces."

Nieko, who now stood where Rroy once was, cocked his head at Eleanor. "Awww, you're adorable!" Dropping his weapons, he hugged the frightened girl. "We should go shopping sometime!" His eyes were friendly and loving. He stroked her hair. "Awww, Rroy-kun, you have this one half-scared to death. So cruel!" He continued to hug her. "How can you be so mean to such a cute girl?"

Rroy glared over at Nieko. "Remind me to NOT have sexy time with you." Rroy turned back to Torrence. "He's so unstable. And they say I'm the angsty punk. Sheez." He looked longingly at Melik. "Why don't you just hand him over and quit fighting us. I'd rather not have to kill you two. You seem important to Melik."

Nieko frowned. "But, but, but...." He ruffled Eleanor's hair. "Fine. I'll just make out with this one!" He winked at her jokingly. "Meh, who am I kidding, you're not interested in anyone but the darkness. Oh well, I can still try!" He placed a kiss on Eleanor's head. "D'awwww, you're too cute to fight. I hope you don't mind." He smiled at her. Nieko was the complete opposite of Rroy. Friendly and lighthearted. Even though he looked terrifying, underneath that tattoo and rough look, he was a complete softy. He was 'almost' comparable to Melik.

((Wait why am i always the one that gets the fighting people... T__T))

Torrence held Melik tighter. Nieko had disappeared from where he was and Rroy stood in his place what was going on here. She was still just as frightened and it came as no suprise how frightened she had become with the man had a chainsaw in hand.

"Why do you want him?! LEAVE US ALONE..." She knew it was worthless to try to fight them. If she dropped Melik this man could just pick him up and leave. If she didnt let Melik go she would die at his hands. But she couldnt let him go. Though he had sent her on that emotional rolercoaster ride she still cared for him and wasnt going to let him be taken by these shadows of men.

What was Torrence thinking? Well one thing was why wasnt Damian here to help her. She couldnt feel him or see him and all she wanted was that feeling of her being able to protect the ones she cares about. She didnt have her courage like she had earlier with the hunter. This was different. These men werent hunters. They were some sort of men that had the same biochemistry as Melik. She didnt want to be killed yet she didnt want to let them have the one thing they wanted. Who knows what kind of plans they had that dealt with him.

"Im not giving him up and if you kill me you know that Melik will go beserk on the people that killed me or even Eleanor. Now leave us alone." Torrence put her foot down again trying to gain control over the emotions she had. How could she protect anyone. The tears started rushing down her face. They wouldnt stop. She gripped Melik as tight as she could, unwilling to let go.

The sound and look of the chainsaw pushed Eleanor over the edge. The tears just kept flowing as the girl stood now frozen. Rroy was gone and the other male, Nieko, appeared before her. He wasn't threatening her, but that didn't matter anymore. Her body was numb, her adrenaline and courage were gone pretty much at this point. She didn't move when the male hugged her. She welcomed it really, though she didn't move. It was the first sign of affection she had in a long time, it felt nice. It made her regret being as mean as she was to Melik. With his name in mind, her hand subconciously went straight into her pocket.

She wasn't paying much attention to Nieko at this point, the words that were being said didn't register in her ears. The only thing that registered was when the male ruffled her hair. Tension shot through her body and her hand instantly let go of the scythe. "Arrow," she whispered as she dropped her head slightly. He always did that to her before one of them would go somewhere or she was unsure about something. He always had a smile on her face that would make her not worry, but that was gone. It had been gone for some time.

She clasped her hands in front of her face and cried as she dropped her head so her bangs fell over her deep green, almost olive eyes. Her hand from her pocket clutched the glass ring that Melik had given her and apparently slipped back into her pocket. Eleanor was starting to lose more people she cared about and didn't know what to do anymore. She couldn't fight, she had no skills with weapons and she wasn't particularly strong. She just cried. She cried all the tears that had been held back since the days after Arrow's death. Nieko seemed safer to cry in front of, if she was wrong about this it wouldn't matter because then she would know she would be with those she cared about.

Nieko looked at Eleanor. She was shaking and scared out of her mind. He looked over at Rroy. "Rroy, what have you done to her?" He held her tighter. He shot a hateful glance at his partner.

"You dare question me?" Rroy barked at Nieko. "Are you going to turn on me now too? First Melik, and now you?" Rroy turned his attention to Nieko. "Just what the hell are you doing...?"

"I'm protecting her. I'm not a demon like you are. Hell, remember the first time you fought me? I was just like these two girls. You're a terrifying foe." Nieko continued running his hand through Eleanor's hair. "Shhh, it'll be okay."

He was almost like a mother, except he was a male. Nieko was rather girly when it came to things like this. Out of his group of friends, he was, by far the motherly one. Kind and responsible, Nieko knew just how to tend to his friends. His cheeks were pink was he stood there hugging the girl. Compared to Rroy, Nieko looked like a girl. Slender and somewhat curved, it was no wonder why some people mistook him for a female.

Finally coming to, Melik looked around. His eyes widened. "RROY-KUN!" He jumped at and embraced the black-haired male. "I... I thought I was dreaming. Can... can it really be you?" His eyes were watering as he continued to hug the red-eyed male.

"Ah, about time you woke up. Sorry about knocking you out, but it was the only way for me not to have to fight you." Rroy ruffled Melik's reddish-colored hair. "I'm afraid I've frightened your friends. I'm sorry." Rroy scratched his head. "I didn't realize I was that terrifying."

Melik just laughed. "Eleanor, Torrence, these are my best friends... Nieko-sensei and Rroy-sama." Melik wrapped his arms around Rroy's right arm. "God, I thought you two were dead just like... everyone else...."

"Tch, us? Dead? That's an oxymoron." Rroy walked over and patted Torrence's head. "You can lower your weapon now. We are friends' of Melik. We never were going to hurt either one of you." Rroy's voice sank and he growled. "However," he threw a knife into the darkness.

THUNK.

"Tch, too easy." Rroy walked away, but returned with a bloody knife. Licking it, he added, "However, we would never let anyone hurt you. Melik's happiness is what we live for."

"YAY!" Melik tackled Rroy. Melik pushed Rroy some, but only to nuzzle his head in the male's chest. "Oh Rroy-sama, my lord, I've missed you so much. I have been so lonely without you. And yet, I feel as though I've known you've been here all along."

"Heh, that's cuz we have been," Nieko finally pitched in. "Rroy said we should lay low and watch out for you and your friends. None of you have actually been in any danger. All the danger you would have been in... well, let's just say Rroy eliminated them."

Nieko pushed Eleanor back. "Are you feeling better, miss?" He spun her around and pushed her toward Rroy. "He's not an enemy. He's your friend. Now stop being shy and introduce yourself." Nieko eyed Rroy. "He may look evil... okay, so he is evil, but at least he's on your side." Nieko laughed and lightly punched Rroy's chest. "You're one hell of a friend you devilish fiend."


((Sorry for the long post. Rroy was feeling guilty for scaring the girls so I woke Melik up. XD And it's time for bed now! I have to be up in 6 hours. x_x If I'm lucky I'll get a post in before I go 8-1:30. If not, I'll be on from 2-5:30 and then on later after 9ish. I don't have class on Wednesday, so I'll be able to post then too. Wootz!))

(( And I know! You guys have been killing me here. I was going to go out one more fight scene but I couldn't. I was almost crying. T_T

Melik/Nieko: YOU ARE THE BAD GOOD GUY! XD ))

Torrence was knocked to the ground from Melik flying out of her arms into the arms of the man who had been trying to get him the whole time. Shock came over her face like wild fire as she sat up. Then Rroy patted her on the head. She didnt get any of what was going on. WHy was everything so confusing? Was it too much to ask for a little truth from these men rather than the charade they put on. No wonder why Damian hadnt been there. She hadnt been in any real danger. She tried standing up but fell down immediately afterwards. It was that emotional rollercoaster again. That was the only explanation for the dizzyness she was feeling. What was with Melik and the emotional rollercoaster he kept her on?

Something came over the girl quickly after all her emotions came back to her. It wasnt just the dizziness that had come over her but something else she had never felt before. She had cried again which was hard for anyone to get her to do. Crying took so much out of her but mixed with the terror of the theatrics that were pulled on them before made it almost unbarable. She tried to stand up again so she could breathe better with her heart racing so fast she thought it was going to explode. There was nothing to hold on to when she fell backwards. This time she didnt catch herself like last time. She hit the ground and fell unconscious. There was too much stress there from what had happened in the last 24 hours without sleep or anything close to it.

Her vision blurred as she felt her eyes close though they had already been physically closed. A memory came back to her. It was of the first time someone came after her. Her father was tied up as was her mother. This must have been a deep memory. One of the men took her mother to another room and closed the door. She could hear her screams and then there was silence after a while. Her father tried to fight back so they hit him. A knife slid towards Torrence which she used to cut her bonds free from where she lay. The captors hadnt noticed as she got up and ran. The memory was clearer than she had ever seen it. She had always thought she had hidden or thought she wasnt home when it happened but as the men chased her through the house, the candles fell from them running into the tables. Their cigarettes fell out of their mouths. Soon the flames were so large it would have engulfed the entire house in a matter of seconds. She ran to the basement and hid there while the men scrambled around. She could hear their scattering feet moving to the door.

Eleanor'sobbing had subsided when Melik came to knocking her friend to the ground. She stared at him with large, deer-like eyes, her breathing still raged. What was going on? She didn't know, her head was in such a haze that she didn't know what people were saying. She heard the words but they almost to be in a different language or something. The tears were slowing their torrent as the she took a deep breath to calm herself.

"...Being shy and introducer yourself," were the first words that Eleanor heard, and they were partnered with a push towards Rroy. Her eyes went wider, if that was possible as she put the breaks on. She didn't want to go anywhere near him. The slowing of her crying and the fear she held for that man caused her to start hiccuping. She dropped her hands to her sides, her left remained open, almost as if she had just dropped the weapon, her right hand clutched the ring tightly. She could feel the outline of the object digging into her hand but she didn't care. A part of her felt that she was looking death in the face after that experience. She didn't know what to say, she couldn't just talk to him after that episode.

Her hair was a mess, she knew that for a fact. Between Nieko ruffling her hair and all her crying, the male's cooing and smoothing out her hair wouldn't have help. She looked like a mess and all she wanted to do was put her hood up and run, run until she didn't see any of them anymore. She looked around, almost as if she was seeing where she was and where all the people were, well, that's because she was. Her eyes landed on Torrence's passed out body and she jumped, her eyes filled with fear as she looked at her. She was sute that the girl, her friend, was dead, but that was just the hysterics talking.

Rroy looked from Eleanor to Torrence. He knew what the obvious choice was, but he saw no rush. He reached out his hand and Eleanor's chin in his hand. "You have nothing to be afraid of anymore. I'm sorry I scared you."

Rroy looked down at Melik who was both surprised and shocked.

"Just what did you do to my friends?" Melik looked up at Rroy with teary eyes. "Why would you? How could you?" He pulled away and retreated over to Nieko. "Rr..." the tears came pouring from his eyes.

Nieko gave Rroy the 'I told you so' look and picked Melik up. It was a rather odd sight to see - Melik was wrapped around Nieko's hips. Nieko then looked down at Eleanor. He took her free hand and squeezed it lightly. "Hush my dear, you have nothing to cry about. Rroy was being a jerk, but he's not one anymore."

He then shot Rroy a look. "Get her, I feel as though we need to leave."

Nodding, Rroy lifted Torrence into his arms. He did it very gingerly and lovingly. It was almost unbelievable. Could Rroy really show softness and love?

Rroy turned to Nieko, and then, both he, Melik, and the green-eyed male, disappeared. Finally reappearing, the group was outside of a large house. Rroy open the door and carried Torrence into a large dark colored room. He placed her on the couch and then crouched down beside her. Caressing her face, he slowly medicated her and helped her to regain her strength.

He looked over his shoulder to see Melik staring at Torrence. "She'll be fine. She's just exhausted." Rroy stood and placed a kiss on Melik's forehead. "Why don't you grab some new clothes for your friends. Nieko, go and give her a bath," he said pointing to Eleanor. "She's covered with blood, sweat, and tears."

Nieko smiled down at Eleanor. "Come on, I'll go make you a nice soothing bubble bath." He lifted her up and placed her around his back - piggyback style. Walking into a room that smelled very calming and fresh, he turned on the water for a hot bath.

He laughed. "Don't worry about me, I'm used to taking care of my two sisters, so a naked female body is nothing to me." He then added, "And being a male, I don't have a problem with seeing naked men either... although, it's not really my favorite unless it's Rroy's." He blushed and saw Rroy glaring at him in the doorway.

Nieko hissed. "GET OUT!" He shoved Rroy out of the frame and locked the door. "Sheez, no respect!" Nieko took out some clothes and towels. "Your bath is ready, miss."

Melik was laughing hysterically in the hallway. "Ha ha, you're rude!" Melik teased and then retreated back to Torrence. After washing himself, he snuggled up beside Torrence on the couch. Yawning, the male fell asleep.

Eleanor was still rather shaky even when Nieko picked her up. She didn't fight back, her energy was spent. The rythmatic movement from his walk nearly put her to sleep, but it seemed that they had arrived at the destination all too soon and she was woken up as she was set on the ground. She felt woozy and lightheaded, but often did after she cried like that. She looked around the room, it looked and felt as calming as in smelt. It almost seemed like these guys were guardian angels for experiments that had lost their only protection from capture, death, or who knows what else. She knew that wasn't the case though. If it wasn't for Melik, Eleanor would still be out there threatening that hunter and probably getting herself killed.

Yelling snapped her out of her thoughts. Nieko was standing in front of the door and Eleanor was guessing that it was locked. She didn't know what it was that had just happened and that worried her a bit. She didn't know if he was planning something, but when he moved away a moment later she calmed down when he walked away grabbing towels and whatnot and complaining about Rroy's lack of respect before telling her that her bath was ready.

Nieko didn't leave so Eleanor was to assume that he was staying. That part she missed. She wasn't used to getting undressed with a male in the room so she grabbed one of the towels and wrapped it around her before slipping off her clothes. Then walking to the bath, she stepped in. The water was warm, almost hot to a point that it burned. Her body wasn't used to is was all. Her feet tingled for a moment before she began lowering herself the rest of the way in, taking the towel off as she went so she wouldn't be exposed to Nieko. When her knees hit the water they stung causing the brunette to wince, but she forced herself further until she was able to sit back slightly, the water coming up just under her shoulders. "Thank you," she said at barely a whisper.

Nieko bowed and scurried about the room. He was cleaning off her old clothes. From the backside, Nieko almost looked like a girl. Finally walking over to Eleanor he asked her, "Can I get you some tea? Maybe some cookies? Anything? Whatever you want, I shall get. I guess, from the looks of it, that Rroy will be watching over Torrence and Melik. I shall watch you. That is, if you don't mind."

He smiled down at her. "You're clothes are washed, dried, and ironed when you are ready. But feel free to take your time. You are always welcome in Rroy's house. He's... well, obviously rich as hell." Laughing, he retreated into another room.

Returning, he carried a silver platter of cookies, cakes, and other colorfully sweet foods. He offered her some. "Don't worry about making a mess, either Rroy or I shall clean it up. Here, in this house, we want our guests to be happy and work free."

Nieko was still squatting beside her. He didn't look at her body or anything. He only looked into her eyes. In this respect, he was a gentleman. The thick eye make-up he wore almost made him seem girly. It didn't really matter what side of Nieko you were on as either way he didn't look like a male.


((I have class 8-1:30. I'll be back then. Torrence, feel free to wake up and explore the house make yourself at home. Eleanor can also leave the bath and hang with Torrence. We'll just say Rroy was in another room leaving them along. Melik was watching TV. Nieko will be tending to the girls. So it they need anything, ask him, and he'll get it. Ha funnnnn))

Eleanor was getting rather dizzy at Nieko's running around. He seemed to move really fast, but that also could've been brain lag on her part. She was going to protest and say she didn't need anything but it was almost as if she were just about to open her mouth and talk, he was back and squatting before her, tray o' goodies in hand. Rather than telling him now that she didn't want anything, the girl just leaned against the inside edge of the tub and dried her hands off on the towel that lay on the floor.

She grabbed what she guessed was either a muffin or cupcake from the tray, she guessed muffin from the lack of frosting. Eleanor didn't eat it right away, she thanked the dark haired male but just kind of turned the muffin in her hands, using the grooves of the cupcake sleeve, holder, thing as the turning mechinism for her hands. Taking a deep breath she lay her head on the side of the tub and just looked back at Nieko for a while.

She was beginning to think that there was a rule or something that stated Melik and his friends are all to be amazingly good looking and beautiful. That didn't have that harsh good look to them, the only word that Eleanor could find to describe them was beautiful. He hadn't made any passes on her yet, which, with most guys, it wouldn't have lasted that long. She probably would've been dead by now, she wasn't, so she figured she could try to trust them. They were friends of Melik's anyway.

"What's this?" She asked, her voice still quite. Speaking up now would make her throat hurt, she knew that. It hurt just from the little bit of talking she was already doing. She had moved her right hand from the muffin and carefully traced the line that went across Nieko's face, though she never touched him, but to her it felt like she was. She was really out of it.

Torrence felt hands hold her lovingly to whoevers body they belonged to. She curled up to whoever it was due to the nightmare she was having. She had hidden that memory for so long, if she had blinked she would probably have had tears coming out for the first time with that memory.

The fire grew closer to her and the ceiling caved in with fire and debree falling everywhere in the middle of the room. She was right next to the window but didnt know if she coudl get through. There was quite the distance from where she was to the window that was so high up. She ran around the fire coughing and jumped on to the couple of boxes that were there. They were caving in from the heat trying to catch fire as well. She had to jump for the window. It took a couple tries to get it but she got it right as the boxes completely caved in. She held on as if for dear life and tried to pull herself up, pushing the window to open further than it was meant to. She finally got through but had to hide in the bushes next to the window because one of the men was still there trying to see if anyone was coming out. She breathed in the ashes of her house as the smoke came out the window she had just crawled out of. The man ran away as the fire got bigger. Little Torrence was so scared of being near it that she ran. She just ran and kept running till her legs gave out in an alley.

Torrence woke up with a start, she sat up quickly. She looked around frantically trying to figure out where she was when she fell back against the couch again from getting up to fast. She looked around and got up slowly this time and touched Melik who seemed to have been cuddling with her while she was out. Torrence moved him so that he was on the couch as she climbed over him carefully so as not to wake him. When she touched the floor it was cold and she looked around again going towards the stairs, trying to find out where the others were. The place gave her the creeps but it was a nice house. It seemed familiar but she wasnt going to think about that. She went up the stairs and found a room that seemed to be locked but it was funny how she was a lock picker. She didnt want to go in the locked rooms though. She looked around trying to find the others.

Nieko smiled sweetly at Eleanor. "This? My tattoo? Well, you could say it is my mark that shows I am loyal to Rroy. You see, every Colte... every male Colte is to carry out a duty. Just what is that duty? Well, we are servants. We serve as the right-hand man for one of four famous families. The Skytun clan is just one of the four as I'm sure you've figured out by now. Moreover, once you take on a clan's symbol, in this case a solid black line that runs across my face, you serve them for life. ...unless they decide to let you go. Rroy has already dismissed me. Heh, but I can't help but assist him. Rroy is and will always be my best friend. I would gladly sacrifice my right hand to protect him. Well, I'd actually lay down my life, but he wouldn't allow that."

Nieko admired his right arm. "A neat story about Rroy... you know for as cruel as he may come off, he's actually a sweetheart. You see, I was in a fight once. I... I should have died, but Rroy saved my life. To this day, you can still see the scar. His entire right arm is fake. Don't be fooled! It's not mechanical. He actually created it out of ice and bones. It's really amazing. He can pretty much stop anything without damaging his hand. Pretty sick, eh?"

He rose to hand Eleanor a cup of tea. "Here, drink this. I can see you're a little out of it. Your eyes are glassy and you seem worn beyond believe. I promise," he said bowing before her, "I will protect you with my life. If you are a friend of Melik's, then you are a friend of mine." His green eyes were captivating and friendly.

"Something wrong? Or are you just admiring how attractive I am?" He teased. "To be completely honest, our whole little group... we'll, we're one in a million. Hot. Everyone one of us. We each have our own personalities and traits that make us unique, but we're all rather attractive. Even Rroy. Behind those sadistic eyes of his, he's quite... beautiful. If you were to cover up his eyes, you'd agree. His red eyes really are a terror."

Nieko finally sat down beside Eleanor. Still, without ever looking at her naked body, put his feet into the water. Splashing around some, he leaned back on his hands. "If only it could be this peaceful forever...."

"Lost? Or are you looking for you friend?" A voice called from behind Torrence. Stepping forward, Rroy moved his hand as if he were about to knock lightly on the door. "I believe your friend is receiving a bath while Nieko pampers her." He moved his hand back to his side, deciding not to knock.

Feeling bad for causing her quite a scare earlier, he figured he should offer her something. "I found your records. I'm sorry about your losses," he finally said. "If there is anything you would like, need, or desire, I shall retrieve it for you."

Rroy spun around. His black hair twisted out some, but then fell back into place. "Are you hungry? Or would you like something to drink?" Rroy cocked his head. Being this friendly and comforting was hard for him. "Heh, sorry. I'm not really good at this sort of thing. That is, being friendly and caring." He looked away. "You see, I don't have many friends. And you obviously know why."

He finally caught her eyes. "...something is wrong. What is it? I can see that you're reliving a past experience." Rroy placed his hand on her forehead. "Be calm," he exhaled and slowly massaged the girl's head. After several minutes, he removed his hands, and retreated back down the stairs. He didn't make a sound as he walked from step to step. At least he didn't seem so terrifying now. He almost acted human. Almost.

"Oh, Torrence, please tell Melik and Nieko that I'm going out. I have some... some unfinished business to take care of." With that, Rroy disappeared beyond the door.

Eleanor's eyes widened at his comment, the one about how attractive he was. She didn't think she was staring, she didn't even know what was going on or when she had set her muffin aside to hold a tea cup. Her face flared a bright red as she dropped her head onto the side of the tub with a rather loud 'thunk'. That didn't seem good enough, at least, it was rude since Nieko was talking to her. Instead she slid further into the water, abandoning her cup for now. She slid in enough so the bubbles and water came up just below her nose, in doing so she bent her legs so her knees were now out of the water.

There was so much with that group. They cared so much for each other it sounded like. Eleanor couldn't help but feel a little intrusive. She felt so out of place here, everything was beautiful and she just felt like she didn't belong. She never owned anything fancy, even before she lost her family. They just lived comfortably, not with riches, just with what they needed. She missed it, she felt so welcome there, and while Nieko was trying, she just felt like, well, an ungly duckling in comparison.

While mulling over all of what she heard, Eleanor began blowing bubbles. It didn't sound like Nieko had a choice as to whether he got to serve or not, well, before at least. That was sad and her head dipped a bit more in the water. A question then came to mind as she lifted her head up just enough to ask, "What happens to the women in your family?" Her face then sunk back into the warm liquid. Strangely, she didn't mind that Nieko was sitting on the edge of the tub, his feet in the water. She would've killed Arrow for it, but right now, he's was comforting her. It was the safest she felt in a long time and she didn't want to be alone now.
