The songs he had sung had eventually made Torrence stop crying. He was petting her while he sang. His voice was amazing and almost put her in a trance. She felt close to him which made her cuddle closer to him, leaving her head on his chest. He was amazing. First a doctor, then a cook, now a singer? Not to mention he was good and fighting.

He sat up which made it so that she looked up at him. Torrence smiled when he rubbed his nose against hers like a dog. It was cute even though he said she was the one that was cute. He smiled when he laid back down which made her cuddle closer. She kept looking up at his eyes which showed passion, love, and happyness. Was this her doing? From what she knew of Rroy wasnt a softy. He was a hard baller. Or at least thats what he came out as from when she had met him.

Rroy then spoke to her softly letting her know that he cared about her. He wanted her to promise that she would run if they had gotten in any trouble. "I promise. But you must promise me something. That whatever fight i run from you will come back from." He then talked about the sun and how he was getting a nice sunburn on his skin. She smiled and stood up from where she was. Her hair blew in the breeze. "Alright lets go... Im not sure we will be safe either. But your right lets get going to the house ok?" She looked at him putting her arm out to show she would help him up. He was blushing and then winked at her. She walked over to the door. "You know... You still havent told me what i can do" She said putting the necklace back in her pocket.

"Ha, well you can start by trying to lift that rock right there." He pointed at the one that was near the door. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach area. "Go on," he whispered in her ear.

He then stepped back. "Hey wait a minute, why wouldn't I return from a fight? Do I look like him? I think not! I'm stronger!" Rroy teased and re-wrapped his arms around her. "Anyways, please try to lift that rock with your mind."

Eleanor was still uber confused when Nieko congratulated her on the thing attached to her arm. He kissed her but that didn't really register, there was a huge ugly thing attached to her arm! "I don't care about the powers," she whinned as she shook the shiled in the air as if it were a bug and it would just fall off. "How do I make it go away?"

She stared at the thing like it were a person with three heads or something. It was big, ugly, and seemed rather bulky, but it was light, she could move it as if her arm had never changed. Slowly something did register. "Supernatural powers? So I'm a super hero?" She really just questioned herself more on that one. Too busy staring at the thing she didn't really notice Nieko move.

She did once he was more or less in front of her and that movement caught her eye. He appologized. She didn't think really would. You had to care about what had happened and about that person to really mean it. He was serious though, she knew that. He wouldn't have gone looking for her or ran her half way across town to try and help her. She just looked down for a moment, the shield resting on her leg. "Why didn't you tell me from the beginning?" She asked quietly. "Why did you hide it?"

Nieko looked back over his shoulder. "Eleanor, you loved him. How could I possibly tell the girl that I'm falling for that I killed the man she loved." He still wouldn't look at her. "You'd have hated me sooner on. I figured... I thought I'd wait and tell you. But, it all just happened so fast. I'm... I'm sorry." He was now looking at the floor. "Eleanor, I never wanted to hurt you. Hell, I didn't even mean to scare you. I-I..." he stopped. "I truly am sorry. If I could go back and change something, I surely would have saved you and your Arrow. I know I'll never be like him. I see that now. I'm sorry for being forceful. I'm sorry for hiding the truth from you. I'm sorry for not saving you two weeks ago."

Nieko shifted back onto his bottom so he was now sitting on the floor. "And I'll assume it'll disappear when you stop trying to shield yourself from me." He looked at her. "Meaning, once you stop being scared, it should disappear."

Torrence looked at him as if he had fifteen heads. The rock was medium sized and she could pick it up easily. Rroy wrapped his hands around her waist and she smiled. His arms would make it difficult to walk over and just pick it up. The tickling feeling in her ear made her smile a little wider. She liked having him around to comfort her but then she looked back at the task of lifting that rock.

Torrence was about to walk over and pick it up by removing his hands. Thats when he went off about how she said he had to come back. "I know your stronger... I didnt mean it like that its just.... um" Thats when he stopped and smiled at her putting his hands around her waist again which was comforting. He then said to lift it using her mind. She figured it out now. He wanted her to see her new power intead of just telling her. She looked at the rock and concentrated. The rock lifted right up and floated towards them. "Ive.... Ive got telekinesis?" She was suprised to find this out then turned around in his arms and kissed him on the lips. "Thank you for.... Well you didnt tell me but you helped me figure it out i guess..." She kissed him again. "We might want to get going though right?"

Rroy was fighting back his laughter. He just couldn't hold it anymore. "HA HA HA! MUWAH HA HA HA," he paused and cleared his throat. "I really need to work on my laugh."

He kissed her back. "Ummm, I'm sorry. I guess I should have been more specific at the beginning. My b!" He joked and took her hand in his own. "Shall we," he said opening the door for her.

Eleanor sighed, she should've seen it coming in a sense. Arrow's name had seemed to have triggered something to Nieko when he first heard it. She shouldn't be mad, she shouldn't even have been involved. That she felt like she had to say. "I wouldn't be so upset if Arrow hadn't broken the rules. We weren't supposed to get close. I guess your involvement just kind of showed us why." She bit her lower lip slightly. The pieces were making sense slowly but surely.

"Why would the government want to inject us with supernatural powers?" She asked as her mind quit lagging momentarily. That didn't make any sense to her. Wouldn't that make the protectors useless? She stopped thinking about it, she had to or she thought her brain was going to burst.

Eleanor then waved the disgusting limb in front of Nieko and said, "I'm not really afraid of you at this point. This thing is scaring me!" The way she looked at Nieko was pretty much begging him to make it go away, to make it and all the bad things go away.

Zeta blinked at Melik a bit surprised. He was a very good vocalist... and... as cheesy as that was... She glanced to the side as she took his hand and began leading the way back to her hide out. It was sweet, but she did not want him to see her face just now so she made sure to keep a step or two ahead. It was embarrassing, to show emotion like this. The culture of her people was so different from that of the human race. It had always been frowned upon to show everything that you were feeling upon your face. Subtleties had much greater value, perhaps that was why Melik was always throwing her off? How could someone not become emotional around a person who so blatantly revealed everything he felt?

Torrence looked at him glaring with a small smile as he laughed. Finally he cleared his throat and said that he needed to work on his laugh which made her crack up laughing. She smiled when he kissed her back when she was done laughing.

His joke was a little funny as she laughed again then headed through the door with her hand in his. "We shall." She said and then let him lead her out of harms way. She wanted to keep practicing her new power though she knew it wasnt safe here, so she allowed him to lead the way. There was hope that they wouldnt run into trouble on the way to the house.

Nieko facepalmed himself.

"You're asking the wrong guy. Rroy's the one you ought to ask. And... as far as making it go away... QUIT FREAKING OUT OVER IT!"

He got up and tackled her, hoping to distract her some. "So," he began, "I've been thinking. What if Rroy was right about something. He was joking, but he once mentioned that maybe the hunters were the good guys. The ones we kill are always the corrupt ones. The ones that will actually go after experiments without protectors. But... Rroy never actually lets me kill hunters that only kill protectors. Something seems...off." Nieko sat up, his arms were around Eleanor. "If that is the case..." he stopped. He'd hurt Eleanor enough. He wasn't about to hurt her all over again.

He laughed. "So, I don't feel like walking. Mind is I carry you?" He didn't even bother to wait for a reply. He literally picked her up and carried her home.

"LOVE, I'M HOME!" Rroy kicked down his door, hoping Nieko was in the house.

Nieko just looked at Rroy. "Erm?"

"Whoa there!" Rroy ran over to see Nieko's fairly suggestive position. "Nieko! I can't believe you! I thought... I thought you and I... we..." he walked away laughing.

"Rroy-kun! Don't kid like that! You know I'd marry you...if you were actually gay." Nieko got off Eleanor. "Sorry about that, I didn't mean anything by it! I swear!"

Rroy laughed and took Torrence upstairs. "Oh, so this is your room," he said pointing to her bed.

Melik finally arrived at her place. "Wait here," he said running into the house. He finally reappeared. "Ta-da!" He handed her a packaging. "I...I hope you like it." Melik looked away embarrassed.

Once Eleanor fell back her brain started working, decoding what Nieko was saying. Her brain was actually working for a change. Her brows furrowed slightly when Nieko stopped. She was thinking about it. It did make sense. Hunters rarely out right attacked an experiment, they always went after their protector. She then thought back to that day. One of the hunters had grabbed her, they weren't hurting her, just holding her.

She never knew what hunters wanted with the experiments, she just knew what Arrow told her. Arrow. Suddenly all those mushy, sad feelings for him were gone. "That bastard lied to me!" She yelled as she sat up quickly, her forehead connecting with Nieko's as she moved to quickly. Her right hand went to her throat, she was really going to have to learn to not yell right now. Her left hand then rubbed her forehead.

"Hey," she exclaimed excited as she saw that her hand was indeed that, a hand. "Owww," her hand then recoiled back to her forehead. She rubbed it vigorously as her right hand fell to her side. Her left hand soon followed as the reality of it all struck. "So he didn't care for me," she whispered. "He was just using me for who knows what..." Eleanor's shoulders dropped. She had cared so much for that man and all he had done in return was play her like a fiddle.

Rroy all of a sudden picked her up after asking. It was like he hadnt waited until she said yes to it. They ended up at the house and he kicked the door in, announcing that he was home in an unusual manner but she didnt mind.

He ran over to Nieko seeing that he was in some awkward position over Eleanor and then made some sort of joke towards him. It was a little awkward as he walked away with her still in his arms.

After that he took her to her room and pointed to her bed. She got out of his arms and started to look around the room. It was a really nice room. The bed looked comfortable. She jumped onto it feeling as if she were in heaven compared to some metal table or something she might be laying on right now in the government building had things gone according to plan. She pushed herself up on her elbows and looked at Rroy. "This place is amazing. Come on over. The bed is comfortable" She blushed when she realized what he could make out of what she had said.

Zeta accepted the package gingerly, she wasn't even sure why she wanted it. What could possibly be something she needed that she didn't already have? What could he possibly have found? Questions ran through her mind as she unwrapped it and then gazed upon the jewelery within. She didn't wear jewelery, it had no real purpose other than vanity and she wasn't truly that vain.

So why do I love it so much? she smiled a little, she couldn't help it. "Thank you Melik." her silver eyes look up at him gratefully as she resisted the urge to glomp him again. That had been rather awkward before, a massively uncalled for display of emotion that should probably not be reoccurring.

Rroy overheard the conversation. "Brb!" He raced back down to Eleanor. "Hey, I'm not sure what Nieko told you, but I'm not one-hundred percent sure on that yet. But it does make sense, does it not? Although...there are some legit protectors. The caring, loving kind. So maybe Arrow was a good guy after all. I can't be certain until I get his records. If he doesn't have an 'x' through him, he was working as a 'bad guy.'" Rroy started to walk up the stairs. "Hope that cleared up some stuff."

He then returned to Torrence. "Hmmm, aren't you a little too young for me?" Rroy teased as he joined her.

Nieko blinked.

"Hi? Bye? Okay?" He shook his head.

"Anyways, here," he said handing her a liquid. "Drink this, it'll help your throat." Nieko then walked her back onto the couch. He leaned in toward her. "So upstairs looks occupied, how about you and I stay down here and..." he paused. Shaking his head, he left her. He now stood looking out the window.

Melik smiled. "YAY!" He glomped her.

"So, let's go," he said practically dragging her to Rroy's place. "Ta-da! You're new home."

He cocked his head. "Hey, where did the door go?" He walked in and saw Nieko pinning Eleanor against the couch. "Hey now, no sexy time in the living room, ESPECIALLY with no door!" Melik walked over and snacked Nieko aside the head. This caused Nieko to shake his head and retreat to the window. "Much better!"

Melik whirled around and saw Zeta just standing there. "Come on in!"

So many words, so much to think about, and like that Eleanor's brain crashed again. So Arrow may not have been bad? So she would've freaked out about him for nothing? Oi vey, this girl wanted a break. She wasn't going to come to any conclusions until Rroy had indeed found Arrow's file, but even then, would it really matter anymore?

She looked at Nieko standing at the window. He didn't seem to hold anything back. He talked to her rather openly and listened to her. He seemed to really care about her where as when she had met Arrow, he didn't seem all that thrilled to get the postition. He was cold and stand offish but slowly opened up to her.

Looking down at the liquid she held, Eleanor had a lot to think about. The liquid didn't look threatening, but that didn't mean anything. Not that it mattered anyway, Eleanor was so dehydrated that she would've drank it either way, and with that, she did drink it. Her throat started feeling better almost instantly. Once it was empty, she set the cup down on a table beside the couch.

Her mind had been so full of thoughts that she didn't really see Melik at first, but when she did she knew what that meant. That hunter would be with him. Even if what Nieko told her was true, she didn't trust the woman. She actually attacked them.

Hoping she could get out of the room before she came it Eleanor got up and walked over to Nieko. It was rather slow in her current condition, but she moved as fast as her body would allow her to. "Nieko?" She asked as she rester her head on his shoulder. "Could we possibly get something to eat?" She looked up at him, her eyes almost hopeful. She not only wanted to get away from the hunter, but she wanted to talk to him about something and she wasn't really comfortable discussing it with other people around.

Zeta glanced around from the entrance to the house, only actually stepping inside once Melik invited her. Her silver gaze moved back and forth amongst the people nearby and the interesting decor. It was strange, so suddenly be shy, but she wasn't exactly here to kill or pillage anyone so what reason did she have to be outgoing?

Torrence looked at him and blinked when he left. She decided she wouldlay on the bed the proper way with her head on the pillows and wait for him to come back. Thoughts came to her mind like a wild fire because of the comment she had made. She didnt mean to say what she had the way she had said it. It was a little sad that she was kind of wanting what she had said to be meant. She laid there and tried to clear her head after a short while.

She listened to what had gone on downstairs. Apparently the protectors werent protectors at all. They were the bad guys while the hunters that tried to drain our blood were the good guy. How could that be though. Why would the experiments and protectors be the bad guys? Though the experiments had been injected to gain powers why would they have protectors?

Rroy returned and joked around with her. "Hey doesnt the saying go the younger the better? Nevermind... So tell me something. what was that theory you were trying to clear up with Eleanor? why did they take normal humans and inject us with powers? Why are they building an army?" She had so many questions racing through her mind she didnt know what to do. She sat up looking at him as she tried to figure it out before he could say it. The last question was probably unknown.

Nieko glanced down at her. "Sure." He saw she was worried about the hunter. He moaned, but only to kick out the window. "I'LL FIX LATER," he yelled up to Rroy.

Nieko laughed some. He saw the hunter enter. Oopsie! He thought to himself. But still, he helped Eleanor through without cutting her. "Where would you like to go? I heard there is a nice sushi shop in town."

He looked at her. "Well, it doesn't matter to me. Wherever is good. I just want to be with you," he said wrapping his arms around her. He liked her. He really liked her.

"Ugh," Rroy moaned. He knew this would happen. "How about I explain it later on when everyone is here for dinner." He got on the bed beside her, pushing her back down.

"Besides, I think you wanted something," Rroy flashed her a grin. "But I forgot to close the door," he groaned. "Ugh." he thought about getting up, but he had no interest. Instead, he rolled over and laid beside her. He wasn't really sure if he was ready for move on that fast. After all, his wife hadn't died that long ago.

Torrence looked at him when he rolled his eyes. She figured he wasnt going to say it now. IT did kind of ruin the mood he was in when he got into the bed with her and pushed her back down.

He then said he had forgotten to close the door. She flicked her finger after he moved next to her. The door closed and she rolled on top of him just to lay down there. She laid her head on his chest. "Are you ok?" She wasnt going to move any faster than he was willing. She kissed him on the lips for a short second.
