Torrence watched the other two come out from where they were. It was Nieko and Melik. They started talking to each other about Rroy and how he died a peaceful death. She couldnt take it any longer. It hurt. It hurt to hear how he died peacefully. It hurt to see that Melik and Nieko were both still alive. It hurt to see Rroys face so peaceful on the ground next to her.

Nieko looked around when a beast burst out of somewhere comming after her. Rroys body jumped up without a second thought. It slew the beast and then seemed like it was looking right at her. He crumpled to the ground in front of her after his deed was done. His wifes spirit came around as well as his children which took him to where he needed to go. Torrence couldnt deal with it anymore. She crumpled to her knees at the sight of his body and just didnt do anything. She was emotionless. She couldnt let her feelings out.

Nieko said that he had feelings for her. Both he and Melik started talking about what Rroy really was. How he was actually better than what she had thought. How he had made it easy for them to start a community but no one would really be able to destry what the government was doing. The police and all of its people would seek out more uses for the supernaturals no matter what.

Torrence didnt care. She didnt know how to react. She couldnt react anymore. She had no feelings, no emotions left. She just sat there on her knees next to Rroys body unwilling to do anything anymore.

Nieko smiled. "Eleanor, why would I ever leave you?" He held her tightly. "You mean the world to me and Rroy knew this. He wouldn't steal me away from you. Everything he's ever done has pushed us together and helped us become stronger."

He stroked her hair. "Although, it's sad. It's so calm now, but my heart still weeps. I miss Rroy. I... I really miss him. What am I to do? I was supposed to die, but my lord forbid me to. How... how can I wear his mark across my face?"

Just as soon as he said that, two black lines appeared on the right side of his face. One of the lines ran below the original tattoo only this one stopped midway - so it stopped at the turning point of his nose. A second line ran down from his hair line and stopped at the shorter, lower, newer line.

Nieko couldn't see the change, but he knew something was different. Shrugging he leaned forward to kiss Eleanor.

Eleanor still cried while she kissed him. It was almost better sweet. She had watched him die and now he was back with her again. Pulling back she just sat on her knees and looked at him. Her eyes almost looked sad, sad but joyful. "Why didn't you warn me?" She asked as her eyes searched his face.

Something was different about him, she knew it, but what- oh, the lines. "You did have these here before," she said, almost as if she were talking to herself. Lifting her right hand up she traced the lines, the one below the original and then the one from the hair line. Her mind was spinning, she didn't know what to think of how to feel, her emotions were all jumbled up at this point.

Nieko laughed. "Love, what are you talking about. I only have one line. One." He looked over in a window. Staring at himself, he too traced the new marks. "Wha-? Rroy... that devil." He shook his head. "These lines are good. They mean that I am free to live my life as planned. Moreover, any child of mine... if I ever become a father... will not have to be a servant." Nieko smiled. "I always told Rroy that the one thing I wanted in life was for my children and then their children to be free of this curse."

Nieko looked at Eleanor. "Why didn't I warn you... had I told you, you would have tried to save Rroy. You're that kind of person. You couldn't know Rroy was planning his own funeral."

Pushing back her hair and cleaning her face, Nieko started singing.

Nieko buried his face in her hair. "Don't leave me. I need you. With Rroy gone, you're the only one worth living for. Please... please don't leave me."

Police swarmed the area after what had happened. All they could find was Torrence there kneeling and unmoving with clothing surrounding her with the dust where a body should be. The men started talking about the woman who was right there being able to turn people into dust. One of the men walked over and poked her with his gun. She didnt move. She was unwilling to move. Another man grabbed her arm and pulled her to her feet. She looked at them as they cuffed her. The same man dragged her away.

The police that were there helped him take the poor girl away from the place she was at. They locked her in a room at the government center for observation on what had been happening. One of the men came into the room where they had sat the girl at the table. She was still not moving. The man thought it must have been something tragic that had happened. Too tragic for this girl to handle. "Hey sweetie want to tell me what happened out there? I have your file from this building. I know what you can do."

Torrence looked up at the man. It was the first movement she had. Here eyes were empty. She looked like she had lost everything. The man sat on the table right next to her and moved her hair out of her face. "So what happened? You can tell me." She didnt answer him.

He slammed his head down on the table which made her jump. "TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED. TELL ME WHAT THESE SCIENTISTS WERE DOING AND ILL PUT YOU IN BETTER Accomodations." He yelled, calming down at the last second. An officer opened up the door and said something about scientists and he smiled. "Looks like youll have to hold on... I might have what i need" He walked out of the room and Torrence just watched. She felt like crying but her eyes were too dried up to do so.

Eleanor pulled Nieko's head from her shoulder and traced the lines. She found some strange fasination in them. They seemed to calm her. Her left hand cupped his face as she traced the lines with her right, staring intently as she did so. "I'm not leaving you," she said as she paused what she was doing too look into his green eyes. "Just promise me that you won't do something like that again. I couldn't stand to lose you, not again," she whispered.

Eleanor pulled him close as if she was never going to let go. Almost as soon as she did that she pulled away, wide eyed. "Torrence," she exclaimed. "What happened with Torrence? We have to go get her!" With that sudden exclamation Eleanor was back on her feet and running the way she had come. There were still so many people there, the crowds not having dispersed. Nieko would follow her, Eleanor knew that, but she had to get to Torrence. But, when she got through the crowd to where they had been, she was gone. Eleanor froze.

Nieko sat there blinking. W.T.F. He stood.

Shaking his head, he ran off after her. Unfortunately his breaks weren't working, so he plowed Eleanor over. "Ah!! Sorry!" He helped her up. "Hey, where did Torrence go?" He looked around.

His eyes then went wide. "Damn, where were you when we needed you earlier."

"Heh," another male approached. This one was wearing a skin tight shirt and baggy cargo pants. He had his hair pulled back in a ponytail and his warm eyes were a sea green color.

"What?" The male stepped back some.

"Tch, how could I have forgotten. You're cursed with immortality."

"Ha. Yeah. You mean, I was. With Rroy dead, I can't be immortal anymore."

"What? Really? Why's that?"

"I'm pretty sure I was only blessed with immortality when Rroy is alive. Seeing that you killed him, I think I'm just a regular moral now. Awww, no fun." He joked. "Good news though, I can still heal people." He walked over and healed the cut on his forehead. "You need to stop getting yourself into trouble. What would Rroy do if he saw you now?"

"Laugh." Nieko laughed. Forgetting his rudeness, he turned to Eleanor. "Eleanor, this is my good friend Varun O'Sealt. Varun, this is Eleanor. Varun worships Rroy in case you were confused."

Varun laughed. "You all mocked me for calling him god, but he truly is a fearsome being. Even in his grave, people still run from him." Varun walked over to Eleanor. "I saw some blue-haired hottie get dragged away to some government building. Was she a friend of yours?"

Nieko nodded. "Yeah, that's Torrence. Would you mind giving us a lift there?"

The blue-haired male nodded. He swung out a small axe. Twirling it around, he murmured something. As he spoke in a foreign tongue, this tool grew and grew and grew! It was now the same size as he was. Grabbing Eleanor and Nieko, he continued his muttering.

Within seconds, they were high above the city, as Varun swung the blade off the ground, they all landed gracefully outside the large building. "Here you are," he said putting the 12 inch long axe in a sling across his hips.

"Ugh, I'm so jealous of your axe. I love how it can grew and shrink with just some foreign whispers."

"Ha ha ha. I love this baby." Varun winked at Eleanor. "Shall we go rescue your friend? Or would you rather I just bail her out? I think they'd be very happy with the amount of money I'm willing to pay for her." Varun teased. "Although, I guess that option might be like prostitution. Oh well, I wouldn't mind."

Eleanor just stared at Varun, he fell under the same category as Nieko, Melik and Rroy that's for sure. Nieko and the new comer chatted on about Torrence and where she had gone to. Yes, that was useful. Then, Varun worshipped Rroy? Well that, that's just a little weird. Nieko asked if Varun could get them there and she thought he was crazy. The government building wasn't too far and the guy didn't have any mode of transportation. Or so she had thought.

After seeing the axe grow and then him using it to transport them, Eleanor was about to believe just about anything. Then the axe went back to its orignial side and Nieko made some compliment about it. Why would you want an axe like that? She thought curiously before they got back on task about getting Torrence.

Shaking her head Eleanor said, "No, the government doesn't need our money. We'll go in fighting if we have to. If that's what it takes to get her back." And of course, if she could control it at this point, Eleanor would have brought out her shield, but alas, no clue on what she could do with it yet.

"Damn," Varun joked. "And I was hoping to get some."

Nieko rolled his eyes. "I remember why I never cared for you that much."

"Aww, that's a bit harsh."

"Heh, well if you weren't such a flirt things might be different. And Varun, wink at Eleanor one more time and I'll make you sing soprano."

"Oh harsh!" Varun frowned and walked up the steps. Looking around, he somehow navigated his way to Torrence.

Nieko whispered to Eleanor, "Varun is like a pirate. He can find anything. Varun is also a huge flirt. If he bothers you, tell him to knock if off. As you can guess, he is my least favorite out of our gang."

Paying no attention to Nieko, Varun found the cell where Torrence was.

"Well, well, well. What is a hot lass like yourself doing caged up?" With one giant swing of his now large axe, he demolished the wall. "Heh, I guess I don't know my own strength."

While scratching his head, he almost looked like Rroy. He had the same face shape and his hair cut was similar, only he had longer hair and it was blue. Varun's build was even similar to Rroy's. He was tall and very built, almost stronger looking than Rroy. The male also had a very similar look in his eyes - one of hidden cruelty.

Reaching out a hand, he smiled at Torrence. "Don't be afraid love, I won't hurt you."

Nieko shook his head. "Knock it off Varun. She's not interested in you. No matter how much you look and act like Rroy, you're not him."

"Huh," he looked over his shoulder. "Nieko, I never said I was. Nor would I want to be. Rroy is my god. I wouldn't want to be a god." He saw Torrence's somewhat confused look. Laughing, Varun added, "I'm Rroy's loyal follower. He's my god."

Nieko rubbed his head. This was going to be hell. He thought.

Eleanor watched as Varun casually waltz into the goverment building. There was no one there. That wasn't good, there were always people swarming in and out of it at all hours of the day. But that didn't throw her off as much as how the blue haired male was acting. "He's a bit full of himself too isn't he?" Eleanor whispered to Nieko as she watched how the other male talked to Torrence and about Rroy.

She didn't think that talking about him right now was a good idea so she spoke up. "Um, I don't like the looks of this," she started. "There are usually people all over this building. There's no way they would desert it. We should get going before someone comes." At least, she hoped they would get out before that happened, whether they actually did was another point of the matter.

"Psh, the more the... more I get to knock around." Varun was almost too prideful at times.

Nieko rolled his eyes. "Come on Eleanor, let's go. He's making me sick." Nieko walked away.

Varun shrugged. "Nieko and I have never been the best of friends. Prob' cuz I worshiped his Rroy. It's hard. He's Rroy's servant. I'm Rroy's worshiper. We've always fought over him...." Varun went silent. "DAMMIT! Why didn't I save Rroy!" He slammed his fists against the wall. "I should have saved him!" His eyes were pissed. "DAMMIT!" He looked over at Torrence. "Heh, sorry. I'm just... ugh. I just can't believe he's... gone." He frowned.

Eleanor watched Varun's little tantrum before running to catch up with Nieko. "He wouldn't have been able to do anything anyway," she said hoping that would cheer him up a little bit. "And besides, if he keeps it up Torrence will kill him." She looked up to see if what she was saying would do any good. Her hands were brushing the sides of her pants, and a crustiness cause her to look down.

Eleanor was practically covered from head to foot in dried blood. Her shoes and backs of her pants from when Nieko was bleeding on the floor and the fronts from where she had wiped her hands. Her jacket was covered only in the front from when she zipped it to get her shirt and little splatter from when Rroy had tossed Nieko's heart at her. Finally, though she didn't notice it until she looked in a window as they passed shops, her face had speckles and smears from wiping her forehead and Nieko's death.

"Oh god, I look like I killed someone," she said without thinking. That would explain why people were staring and keeping their distance. "You know, you bled on me twice today," she said changing the topic. She thought then, Nieko wasn't dead, well that was obvious, but she watched him die, she was covered in the blood. Looking at him with quizitive eyes she asked, "How did you not die? I watched what Rroy did to you."

Zeta stared, how could that possibly be Melik standing there? Her eyes glanced to the discarded head, only to have her attention brought back to the living Melik as he hugged her. Zeta was silent and very still, the world around them seemed to move at a different pace. People came and left and she hardly noticed, all she knew was that her heart was beating irregularly.

Finally her senses came back and Zeta pushed Melik away from herself. Her eyes were as cold as steel, "You turned on me." she stated in a voice trembling with anger. "You had me attacked and all for what? Some stupid little plan?"

She stood tall, "I am Talian, I do not forgive so easily. Second chances are for the weak. I do not need the company of the untrustworthy and most importantly of all, if nothing else sticks into that frivolous little head of yours, TALIANS DO NOT LOVE" she yelled the last four words harshly before turning sharply on her heel to walk away.

Melik dropped to his knees. Heartbroken, he sat there. Thinking. Wishing. Dreaming.

Finally, he rose. Looking around, he saw people were staring at him. They all felt bad for him. One little girl ran over and hugged him.

"It's okay. I think she likes you. But she doesn't want you to know." She smiled up at him.

Melik tickled the girl and placed her on his hip. "You think so?"

"I know so! You should have seen the look in her eyes when she thought you were dead. She looked really sad. I think she loves you. Like really really loves you."

Melik walked over to a blushing mother. "Here you go miss." He handed her the child.

"You are ahead of her league. Why would you go with a low life like herself?" The woman was blushing.

"Heh, I'm not ahead of her. I'm way below her." Melik poked the little girl's nose. "Your daughter is beautiful. I hope you two have a wonderful life ahead of you." He bowed and walked off to Rroy's place.

Sitting down on Rroy's bed, he waited.

"Heh, you miss me already?"

"Rroy, you know I miss you always. You're like the brother I never had."

"I miss you too Melik. But why are you here? Shouldn't you be following Zeta?"

"I-I think I'm giving up on her...."

"What! Why? I thought you loved her?"

"If this is what it fells like to lose someone you care about, then how could I ever live if something happened to Zeta. Besides, I think it's better if we go our own ways...."

"Melik! Where is your passion? Where is your heart? You can't win her love by not trying! You must fight!"

"Whoa, are you sure you're Rroy. Since when have you known a thing about love?"

"Ha ha. Very funny. But seriously Melik, why?"

"I'm... I'm too unstable. I'm a coward. I'm a psycho. I'm overly emotional. I'm too dramatic. I'm weak. Rroy, look at me! I'm not a man at all. How could she love me?"

"Why did Pyrita love you? Wasn't Pyrita a model and an athlete? How could someone like her love you?"

"She said that she loved how I could make her laugh until she almost peed herself. She said she liked how I never looked a day over 18. She said she loved how cheesy I am." Melik looked at Rroy's spirit. "She liked how...."

"How what? How much you loved her? How you never judged her? How you thought she looked the best when she really looked her worst?"

Melik smiled. "Thank you Rroy."

"You're welcome."

"Will you be popping up now and then?"

"Oh naturally, I still have to wreck havoc on the world." Rroy joked.

"Yup, that's my Rroy!" Standing up, he waved goodbye and ran too look for Zeta. He finally found her.

Clenching his teeth and curling his hands into fits, he put his foot down and spoke with his eyes closed. "Zeta, I love you. I love everything about you. Your bitter sweet personality. Your sheer beauty. Your personable silver eyes. Your tone. Your scent. You. Everything about you. I love how you make me weak in my knees. I love how you yell at me when I'm a fool. I love how you still tolerate me even if I'm being an idiot. I love that you don't kill me. I love your smile. Your hair. Your touch. Zeta. I love you and I'll do anything for you, but I can't... no, I will not stop trying. Even if you never love me back, I will always pour my heart and soul onto you.

"I used to think flowers were god's greatest creation. Then I met you. You change as the seasons change. You grow more beautiful the more you blossom and bloom. Opening up and letting your colors show, ah, what a sight to see. You're as soft as silk and your voice is soothing like the water that washing upon a shoreline.

"Your eyes are deep and taunting. They go on for all eternity. They are as vast and mysterious as space just like your heart. You're a mystery to me, but I don't ever want to stop trying to solve the case. I want to forever be stuck on you. I refuse to quit this case. Melik finally opened his eyes and freed his hands from the fist-like position.

Nieko rolled his eyes. "Varun's immortal. He can't die. He was just being cocky either when he said he couldn't. He traded his soul for immortality. That punk. And I'm not sure. Torrence may actually like him. He's very similar to Rroy, only he'd gladly kiss her. He wouldn't leave her either...."

He saw Eleanor looking at her clothes and then at herself in a mirror. She smiled. She looked kind of hot covered in blood. "Nah, I think you look sexy," he winked at her.

He was fantasizing some, but finally caught the last word she said. Not die. I watched what Rroy did to you. Huh? What's she talking about? Ummm, I don't know, but if you weren't drooling over the things you want to do with her you might actually know. Heh, what should I do? I don't know, cock your head? GREAT IDEA!

Nieko cocked his head. "I'm... sorry?" He gave a weak laugh. OH! She was talking about how Rroy killed you! Oh, yeah. You're right. Ha ha! "And Rroy didn't actually kill me. He killed a clone of himself. Remember how he said he could manipulate shadows? Yeah... those were shadows." He smiled. "I saw that you were crying. Would you have missed me?" Nieko poked her. "Would you have screamed my name? Cried out begging for me to come back?"

Torrence had been in an interrigation room 6 times that day. She sat in a corner in her cell that they took her back to every time so she called it her cell. All she wanted to do was get Rroy back. She just hugged her knees unmoving for every time she was brought back to the cell. Her head was clear. She felt like she had forgotten everything. She couldnt feel anything or remember anything but what she had just experienced with Rroy and his choice of death just to prove a point.

An alarm went off and a second afterwards it turned itself of. It came and went just like that. She looked up slowly and about five minutes later the wall to her cell was demolished after she saw three people come up to it. Eleanor was covered in blood standing at the opening with Nieko and a person she didnt recognize. That person had spoke to her before demolishing the wall. She still held on to her knees as he came up to her and said not to be afraid.

This new man looked just like Rroy except he had blue hair like her and it was a little longer. She didnt know what to think. His face. The form of his chin. It was more than she could take. Rroy was all she could see. She couldnt see who it actually was. All she saw was Rroy standing right there with his black hair. His body was hansomly guilt just like before. She didnt know what to think but then she found that it really wasnt him. It was someone else. The scene changed to it being the man with the blue hair.

This confused her which was why she had the confused face on but the man thought that it was for some other reason. Then after the fight with Nieko the man punched a wall. He looked like he was having a temper tantrum but she couldnt tell the difference anymore. She undid her legs from the hug she had on them and just watched as Nieko and Eleanor left. She didnt know what was going to happen next. She just put herself more in the corner just because of the unpredictable.

"I look what? Oh that's gross," Eleanor said, though she was partly joking. Serious about it being gross because it was blood and his reaction was funny. She held her hands up in front of her face saying, "It's dry and constricting. And I'm not a fan of blood." She then dropped her hands to her side.

She watched Nieko, still waiting for an answer. He seemed almost like he was in his own little world before he cocked his head and appologized. Eleanor cocked a brow, not really and answer to what she was asking. She was just about to open her mouth and say something about it when he actually answered. So it was just a clone? But it had looked so real.

He had seen her crying, and he seemed to be picking on her about it. Eleanor's eyes searched his face as he continued. That hurt. Dropping her head she said, "You talk like it's a joke. I was really scared." Her voice then dipped down to a whisper as she added, "I thought I had lost you. I couldn't stand to see someone die that way, never again. And yet, yet I watched you."

Zeta had gone back to her hide out. She sat on the make-shift bed in thought. Melik was out of the picture and she was convincing herself that she could do this on her own now-the way it was meant to be.

Zeta nodded slightly, "You and I Atez..." she whispered, bringing her knees up to hug to her chest. She swallowed hard, an old song began to play on her mind and soon upon her lips.

She sits in her corner... singing herself to sleep.

The song became firm, sailing on her voice with determination. Her heart was pounding by the end and she steadily realized there was something wet upon her cheek. She wiped away the tear angrily and turned to leave, only to discover that Melik had found her once again.

Zeta was just about ready to snap at him but he started talking before she could even speak. He wasn't even looking at her as he spoke... he spoke such words. Zeta looked away from him, she didn't even know how to respond. What could she possibly say to him at this point?

Nieko lifter the girl's chin up. "I'm glad you were worried." With that, he pressed his lips against hers. Licking, he pulled back. "Yuck, my blood does not taste good." He gave her a naughty grin. "What, not a fan of a little... tongue." He gave her a dirty grin. "I'm only teasing," he said right after.

Taking her hand, he ran with her. He was practically carrying her. But where was he off to in such a hurry?

Nieko then came to a sudden halt. He snickered and shoved Eleanor into a pool of water. He stuck out his tongue at her, and then jumped in with her. The water wasn't very deep. But it was cool and refreshing.

Nieko drew Eleanor in closer. Glancing the he moon and stars above him, he whispered sweetly to her.

"Eleanor, you're truly from another world. How can an angel like you exist? You are peerless. I have traveled long and far and I have never, and I mean never met anyone was exquisite as you. You're intelligence and acceptance is a blessing. I've always been shunned and hated because of what I am. You are the first woman to ever gaze upon me with sweet eyes. Not even June warmed up to me this quickly. It took years. And yet, I feel as though I've know you for years, but it's only been a few days.

"How could I fall helplessly head-over-heels for a woman I barely know? I don't even know your favorite color. Or song. Or anything. What kind of man am I? I've confessed my love for you blindly. I'm a fool. I'm sorry if I'm pushing you too quickly and I'm sorry if I'm rushing you. I want us to work out. I will take this relationship at your pace. And if nothing should come of us, I will embrace the fact that I have you as a friend. A close friend."

He took her hands and moved them on his chest. His heart was racing as he smiled down at her. "Ugh," he said. "You drive me crazy."

Varun looked over at Torrence. "Something wrong miss?" He walked over to help her. "Are you hurt? If so, who did it. I'll kill them." His eyes were loving, but also had a tint of cruelty in them. He looked as though he would kill anyone that Torrence pointed at.

Cooling down, he stepped back. "I'm sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. I am," he bowed. "Varun O'Sealt." He looked up and smiled at her. He was captivated by the girl. It was a rare sight to see someone that had blue eyes and blue hair. He blushed and looked away, trying to hide the fact that he was actually blushing.

Torrence looked into his eyes. They had the same cruelty that Rroy had had in his. She didnt knwo what to do. She didnt have a voice at the moment. She was a quiet one right now. Her voice had left her when the fight that killed Rroy was over. She got up off of the bed thing that was in her cell and looked at him.

He stepped back and introduced himself which she looked at him and smiled a little bit herself. The only word that came out of her mouth was "Torrence". She pointed at herself as she looked at him. She was a little woozy from being in a cell for a while. She walked over to him seemingly a little shy. She didnt know exactly what to do so she stopped about a foot away from him and backed up a little bit afterwards.

Was she really going to walk up to a person she didnt even know. Thats when she remembered the interrogations which made her back up even more till she hit the other wall and then sat down on the floor again. She remembered Rroy. The police had asked about him and this man just kept reminding her of the way he was just a little more of a womanizer. She put her head in her knees and hugged them. She wanted the nightmares to go away.

Eleanor laughed when Nieko pulled away from the kiss. "See I told you so," she said rather smugly before wiping her mouth to keep any of the blood out that Neiko may have moistened. As for the tongue part, well she wouldn't say one way or another. Wait, what was going on? The wind picked up, by the time the girl finally started paying attention she was being pushed into water.

"Wha-?" Was all she was able to get out until Nieko was in the water with her. The blood washed away mostly, turning the water a reddish hue. When he pulled her close, she did not fight it but rather accepted it and listened to his words. Her gaze followed his to the sky as she listened.

He was saying such nice things to her and she couldn't help but feel like she was making him think too much of her. Eleanor never her saw her that way. Before the experimenting she was a kind person. She would go out of her way to help people even if she didn't get anything out of it. She didn't think that she was the same, she felt as if her heart had gone cold.

Nieko was truly adoarable and someone anyone would be lucky to be with and yet he chose Eleanor. Smiling, really smiling for really the first time in the past two weeks. She turned slightly and layed on Nieko's chest. "You were the first person that ever really wanted to listen to my story, that ever actually really cared about me, it's no wonder that I fell for you." She then nestled her head a bit, placing it close to the nape of his neck.
