((Ha ha. You're doing just fine. It's always hard to jump into a roleplay. But you appear to know what you're doing. Although... POOR MELIK! T_T H-h-h-he might get eaten. xD Also, Zeta is pretty awesome sounding. I can't wait for this story to develop more. It's gonna be... awesome! :D))

Torrence was suprised when he picked her up and swung her around. It wasnt like she was some kind of hero. She had just suggested that they eat something and stay together for the time being. He sounded like a commercial for recruiting in the military. They were test subjects not military members. She followed him to the cafe he had chosen which seemed to be a good place to be since it was somewhat crowded. It wasnt too crowded but it wasnt too empty either which made it easier. Melik picked up Eleanor who was leaving them and carried her to the cafe with them. It was like a kidnapping in action but not really. Huh what should they do. She sat at the table Melik had chosen and looked at the waitress as he flirted with her. What a man... Yeah ok so she would have to get use to his flirtyness. She then looked at Eleanor like oh brother.

Melik looked over at Torrence and he winked at her. "We'll have whatever is the house's special. And can we have three..." he looked at the girls. Pausing, he tried to guess their ages. "Ummm, can I have a red wine and get the fine young ladies whatever their hearts desire."

As the waitress walked off, he turned his attention to Torrence. "Why do I get the funny feeling your secretly laughing at me?" Melik stuck out his tongue.

He cocked his head, but only to turn around to receive his wine from the waitress. "Many thanks."

Sipping it, he glanced out the window. His eyes were fixed on a dark-haired female who had her back to them.

Hmmmmmm. Something is off. Melik looked at Eleanor and then at Torrence. He didn't want to alarm them, but he didn't want them to be blind to the situation either.

"Remember ladies, be on the lookout for suspicious people. We wouldn't want to let our guard down."

Melik thrust back his head and finished his glass. Nodding at the waitress, he waited as she walked off with his glass. He leaned forward, and continued to watch the girl across the way.

Zeta started down the street, a bored look on her face as she followed from a good distance. Her fingers slipped into a couple people's pockets, these humans used money for everything it seemed. Yet for something they saw as so precious, they didn't take very good care of it. It was easy to removed a few dollars here and there.

She turned her attention towards several different restaurants while keeping tabs on where her prey was heading. Once they had settled in their chosen place Zeta continued to roam around as though looking for somewhere to eat as well. Finally she turned to the same building as them, looking at it skeptically before heading inside and finding a seat on her own.

Shiloh looked at him, then at the waitress. "Ill have a water thanks." She looked around feeling something wrong around them. Thats when Melik said something to her. "Oh no... Im totally laughing at you on the inside. Your a flirt"
She saw a dark red headed girl that was walking into the cafe.

Melik took his knife from his table and placed it on his lap. He wrote something on a small corner of his napkin, but then put it in his mouth.

Something was off. He knew it. The girl who was entering the shop was the same girl he remembered seeing from early. The waitress walked back.

"Here you are kind s-" Melik locked lips with the waitress.

Shocked, yet very pleased, the waitress stepped back. "Ummmm?"

Melik nodded at her.

About five minutes later the waitress returned. Bending over, she covered her mouth to whisper.

"It appears that there is a fugitive in here as well as a murderer. I'm not sure who they are, but my boss says to keep it low. I will move in this large family right beside you. I'll inform them of the situation. Should you need to evacuate, I've prepared an escape route for you all. But, I think you'll be safe. No one would dare attack her. There are three officers sitting over there." She smiled. "You should be safe."

Melik placed a kiss on her cheek. "Thanks again, love."

He turned to Torrence. "A flirt. Me? Nah, never." He teased. "But if you'd like a kiss, well... I think you may be too young for me." He joked.

Zeta's eyes drifted over the contents of the cafe, this many people could prove problematic. It seemed like she was going to be in for a bit of a wait so she ordered a bottle of water and a slice of apple pie from the waiter. Time was something she had plenty of...

As she received her order suddenly her eyes hardened. I don't want to wait. Let's do this now, now!

She shrugged it off, her silver gaze softening back to normal. She gave the waiter a smile and then sipped at her water. Patience is virtue my dear... her eyes drifted over towards the trio, Ah, but I think they have noticed us

So it's time?

A slight smirk spread across her lips as she locked her gaze with Melik for just a moment before returning to her slice of pie.

"Looks like youve noticed the trailer... And why would i want a kiss from a man whos taken" Torrence said smiling. He was such a flirt but it didnt leave her notice that the woman was conflicting with herself for whether or not to attack in a crowd like this. the waitress seemed to have warned Melik. "How old do you think i am?" She asked playfuly so she could get a conversation going just to make it less obvious that htey knew the woman was here.

He seemed to have missed everything Torrence said as his focus was elsewhere. He was, more or less, crushing on the woman who sat looking at the trio with hungry eyes.

Melik gave the girl her now shared a glance with a charming smile. Hell, if I'm going to die, I'd rather it be by her blade.

He stood up and walked over to her table. "I couldn't help but stare at your beauty, so I figured maybe I should say... hello." He leaned forward to smell her. "You remember me of someone I used to know," he said sinking into a chair across from her.

"So, since I'm being honest with you, if you're going to kill, please kill me first." He took her water glass and drank from it. "But, if you're going to kill me, may I make a small request?" His lips curled and a devilish grin was revealed. "I know you're a lot older than you look." He winked as he finished up her water. "So, what do you say?" His eyes drifted over to an unoccupied employee's lounge. Looking back, he added, "If could be fun. And who knows, maybe you'll have some mercy on me."

Using the empty glass, he looked at Torrence and Eleanor. So long as I can save them, I am willing to put my life on the line. Besides, this babe is hot as hell. She reminds me of my lover... only my lover wasn't trying to kill me. Ha ha!

Melik leaned back and smiled. He was hoping, she might buy his cocky, bad boy charm. If not, he was in for one hell of a time. He knew he would have to make quite a mess to fog the two girls. Luckily, he had a plan. In his mind he thought, It's a good thing I'm so damn smart.



((And that's okay. Not much you can really write when you're waiting for your prey to move. And it's also hard to write a lot when you're character is sitting at a table with a flirt. XD Also, you'll have to ignore Melik's flirty ways. He really doesn't mean anything by it, but seeing that he's about to die, he figures he'll try and have some fun. lol.))

Zeta crossed her legs, watching Melik carefully as he spoke. She never touched the sweet pie that still sat before her. "Humans" she whispered in return, her voice had a slight accent to it, as though she had picked up this language later in life. "You are all the same to me, you are all fun to hunt." she smirked, "I do not suppose that I have to kill any of you... but tell me... why should I humor this little... plea of yours"

Eleanor tried not to sulk or bring her 'depression' to the group. Torrence, the girl she thought would've sided with her did not. Maybe she just took Arrow's death too hard or something, but she tried not to let it get to her at the moment. Especially since their last setting, right before his death, was the same cafe, just as busy. She hadn't ordered anything, she wasn't hungry and it wasn't because of her mood. She had gotten used to not eating as much, it saved whatever money she could get.

She did get a water though and sipped on that just listening to the other two. Other than that she just rested her chin on her knees that were pulled to her chest. She felt bad for her outburst yeah, but every bad thing that had happened to her happened when she was with other people. She didn't want them to be drug down next. Melik then got up, she didn't know why, apparently she hadn't been listening very well.

Her feet dropped to the floor and she looked to the blue haired girl and asked, "Where's he going?" There was no hint of the previous outburst in her voice, she seemed almost scared or paniced.

Melik frowned. "Well, you don't have to. The choice is yours. But I figured maybe you'd be up for a little play time. Some... adult fun." He laughed. "But if you'd rather cut the love making session and go straight to the heat of battle, we can do that. Only," he paused to give her the 'sad puppy eyes' look, "I think you may just break my heart."

He leaned forward to caress her face. "You're very soft," he whispered. "If only you were interested in me for other reasons, we'd make such a cute couple." He smiled.

"Actually, I do have a question for you. You, of course, don't have to answer. But, why are you hunting us so called 'subjects?' Is it a personal vendetta? A job? For fun?"

Melik gazed into her eyes. "You have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. They shimmer like the moon does on those cold winter days when you wish you had someone you could cuddle up next to."

While he was speaking, he subconsciously moved forward. His lips were mere inches away from hers. Stopping himself from kissing her, he sat back.

"Please kill me," he said in a monotone voice. "I'd rather not suffer anymore." A single tear rolled down his face, dripping onto her hand. "I will fight you if you wish, but I will not put my heart and soul into it as I have no desire left to live." He hung is head low as he anticipated her attack.

((Yuppers. He's emo now because he was remembering is girlfriend. Seeing Zeta reminded him of her and now he's wishing he was dead. He blames himself for his gf death and he wishes everyday that he was the one that died and not her. Zeta and his lover are pretty similar and he figures if he's going to die, he'd rather be killed by someone that looked like his girlfriend.))

"How entertaining," she chuckles lightly, "You would lay down your life, is that your plan then? Perhaps whilst I devour you, the others might escape." excitement danced in her eyes as she sat back calmly, she didn't even respond to his touch although she never stopped staring into his eyes, locking their gazes together with each syllable spoken.

Zeta leaned towards him, mirroring each of his previous motions with an eerie accuracy, however instead of pulling away she pressed her lips upon his. Her fingers ran through Melik's hair for a brief moment before she pulled away an inch or two, "Tell me... do I taste much like the one who lost?"

THUMP. ...THUMP. ...THUMP.

His heart was beating loudly, but it was slowing. He had given up the will to live. Her lips killed him. There was no worse punishment than this.

He raised a knife to his wrist.

Pulling back from the kiss, he spoke in a death-like tone. "You taste more like her than you will ever know. You bring me such sad memories. Such depressing times. You've killed my loneliness, but, in doing so, you've killed me."

A glimpse of happiness danced in his eyes as he slid the knife across his left wrist. Still staring at her, he felt the blood run from the cut. He glanced down, just for a moment, to see the crimson liquid stain the white tablecloth.

Melik looked back at her. His eyes were full of pain, but they were happy. "Thank you," he whispered. "Had I not met you and had I not fallen in love with you, I'd still be wandering this earth. I wish we could have met with different destinies. Perhaps we could have been something, but... not in this life."

For some odd reason, he decided to stand up. Falling over himself, he managed to hover just over the girl. Reaching out with his bleeding arm, he stroked her face. "I'm sorry I'm not a very good play thing. I wish I had the strength to last longer, but... I really wish to die."

He fell forward, collapsing into her lap. Looking up with smiling eyes, he, very consciously said, "I love you."

Still alive, he blacked out. Sadly, he could be saved as he had not cut himself deep enough to quickly end his life.

Zeta stroked his hair, almost lovingly. She was completely calm, cradling the boy in her arms despite people beginning to freak out around her. The crimson life that spilled from his wrist was the focus of her attention however, and she began to lift his wrist to her dark lips.

((I'm debating whether or not she should get this so soon. After all, consuming the bodily liquids of these projects is all she really needs in order to become so much more powerful... I'll let you guys decide ;) ))

((Well, I'm passed out, so I can't decide much. XD Although, I think if she does drink his blood, she should get to see some of his past visions and whatnot. Maybe get to see what his girlfriend looked like, what he was like, etc. Also, what is his special power or whatever? I know Melik doesn't know what it is, but depending on what it is, I guess it could be to his advantage... maybe.))
