Sad addendum: it turns out that the breastfeeding friendly drug i mentioned hasn't been tested adequately on humans. There weren't any birth defects in the animal subject, but the drug does pass through the breast milk. It is used to treat General Anxiety Disorder.

All antidepressants are leaked into breastmilk but what matters how much gets leaked into the breastmilk. Usually nursing mothers are given Zoloft.

Zoloft, you say. Well, BuSpar said it would affect the infant. I figured that would be a no go.

Just the food thing I mentioned. Also, after my father carved the chicken, the remains are laid bare by the sink. Kind of hard to miss; kind of hard to not vomit.

Ask them not to to leave the remains out in the open. If you don't say anything then later on you can't be all, "Well, I asked you not to. Clean up the vomit yourself."

Wow... this is not a fun conversation... but I like that vomit comment... it was rather amusing....
