I'm fairly certain she's not using them if she has any. Nephew is plenty loud. And I agree about the pack and play. I'll talk to my parents about it when I'm in town tomorrow.

If we get the pak-n-play then we won't need to borrow gmas' speaker thingys. It'll be a lot safer to let Spawn nap in the pak-n-play.

I took my medicine this morning and I'm starting to feel antsy. I didn't really sleep last night - somewhere between four and five hours. I spent a good half hour knitting in the wee hours of this morning. That and reading. I've also made some changes to my DW account.

Yep, I did. It didn't make me sleepy, though. I feel like I got cheated this time around.

I'm second guessing myself on whether we should leave Spawn behind for the PostSecret exhibit. Also, we should ask Amaya if she wants to go with us. :) We don't have to go on Monday the 9th; we can go whenever is convenient for Amaya especially if we decide to take Spawn along. And there's no reason not to - we do have the mei tai.

I realize that we don't have to leave him behind, but the point was to get out and do something by ourselves--without him. Also, I wouldn't dream of going without inviting Amaya. Her love of Postsecret is no less valid than ours.

There's going to be a Post Secret exhibit from August 6th until September something at the Indy Museum of Contemporary Art and we'd like to go. We had talked about leaving Spawn behind and going by ourselves but I feel guilty about it.

Would you like to go? Any thoughts on leaving kids behind?

We had intended to go on Monday the 9th of August.

It may or may not end up being an adults only viewing, as far as we're concerned. We don't have to leave Spawn at home, but we need time away from him sometime soon. The Postsecret art exhibit is going to be at the Museum of Contemporary Artaa sdfkjahsdf.... beat me to it.

I would love to go to, especially adults only. My big thing is, my mother works M-F. She's a school secretary, so work started up for her July 26. If you really want to do it on the 9th, and don't mind Little Man coming too, I'd love to go with ya'll. If ya'll talk about it, decide to go on the ninth, and want it to be a baby-free zone, I will not feel insulted, I will not feel hurt. I will not be thinking bad thoughts upon yall. I promise.

I completely understand the guilt with leaving Spawn behind. I really, truly, honestly do. But, you BOTH need a break away from him to do something completely baby free and enjoyable for the both of you. Whenever I do something all by myself- even just going to get some food I've been craving and am back in 5 minutes- I feel better, refreshed, and willing to take another day of tantrums and crazed tiredness.

I'm thinking it's not going to be a problem to take the boys to the PostSecret exhibit. I'd like to make arrangements with you, Amaya, to visit by myself and for us to go do something - even something like walk around the mall - by ourselves. Same thing with CZ! Send him down on a day off from work so he can spend some time with someone else and Spawn free. I've been thinking about making plans with Problematic Feminist to go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show without Spawn.

We're thinking about going to OhayoCon in January 2011 (28th-30th). It's 40$ pre-reg for the entire weekend. Do you think you would be interested in going to that, Amaya? And if you are would you be opposed to putting together costumes for the boys?
